First time, cool environment, friendly and relaxing.
Grilled cheese are the best, they are great... good place for a beer and eating one of there unique grilled cheese or the basic is really good, not really basic but you will see.
Strongly recommend if in town.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 7993347Nov 14, 2016
Not only does this place have amazingly delicious grilled cheese sandwiches of different kicked up varieties, they have hand crafted drinks too!
This trip my friend and I decided to split the loaded tater tots! Yes they were loaded with cheesy goodness!!! They also had pulled BBQ pork & chives. Also very filling and perfect portion for two to split.
I'm already looking forward to heading back to try almost everything on their menu! Luckily the menu isn't very long, but they have a decent variety. They have salads of you want to eat healthy. Appetizers if you want to snack. Perfect place for comfort food or just want that nostalgic feeling of eating a grilled cheese sandwich. However this is a more adult version that you can wash down with a drink! Enjoy!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Ashley C.Lake Mary, FL48139194Jan 13, 2018
Really good food, small inside, great customer service, a lil pricey. Our bill was $40 for a small portion of tots, 2 grilled cheese, and 1 beer. Don't get me wrong, it was good- but it's still a grilled cheese. Service was good and fast. They have live music there starting at 9 on Friday and Saturday- the guy was good but I wanted to talk not sit next to my company listening to music so I would probably go back another night.
Oh side note- get a big soup- the cole slaw was horrible in my opinion!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Harold A.DeLand, FL1622Mar 18, 2018
Really good grilled cheese, the tomato bisque soup is excellent, matter of fact the best I've ever had; he servers were very friendly and attentive to whatever we needed. The drinks are strong and good, my girlfriend got the
St. paddy's cabbage grilled cheese and she loved, I had the the standard grilled cheese both sandwiches were great. The drink we both had was the Orlando iced tea, you should definitely check it out...Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 608826759May 31, 2017
This place is a must if you're into grilled cheese! I will admit the name almost put me off because I thought it too cheesy (pun intended!) but I'm glad we checked it out. They have some very interesting and yummy creations on their menu sure to satisfy your appetite. Plus, they have a FULL BAR situation going on and some of the friendliest faces and service around. Seriously, go to YOLO!!

Came here for a girls day out recently. Every grilled cheese sandwich we tried was fantastic. Thick, buttery sourdough bread and gooey, flavorful cheeses. My only small complaint is that their bacon is no good. Soggy and fatty. Oh wait, there was a flavorless, watery tomato, too. My sandwich would have been better without either one. I pulled them out and put them aside. Much happier after that. The pulled pork tater tots are to die for and are a HUGE portion. Perfect Bloody Mary, also. Every server was friendly and attentive. If you are searching for a place with a fun, upbeat atmosphere and comfort
food that appeals to both adults and families with kids, look no further.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Naomi W.DeLand, FL1413014Aug 8, 2016
I have been to this bar twice. On the first occasion I walked in and there were no tables or bar space and music was very loud so my guest and I left to find dining that we wouldn't have to wait and could converse.
On the second occasion mu sister and I were exploring downtown and decided we would stop in to try. It was around 3pm on a weekday afternoon. There were quite a few patrons at the bar and most of the tables were taken. There aren't many tables because the space is small and they didn't over crowded it with tables.
We sat at pub style table by a window and our server came to greet us promptly. He was very nice. I wanted to order the happy hour special that was written on the chalk board wall. He let us know that they were on a soft opening and they didn't have a happy hour menu and the food was all on a trial period to see what would sell.
I was turned off that a happy hour special was displayed but it didn't apply so we decided not to order any food.
I got a martini drink that was very good but pricey. My sister ordered the sweeter ginger option that came in a mason jar. She enjoyed it but again we ended up going else where to eat. Overall, the experience was okay. Service was good but i felt there shouldn't have been special displayed if they didn't apply.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Stephanie M.DeLand, FL6343Jul 27, 2016
Visited for the first time today and got an amazing waiter Frankie. We brought our dog Luna so we sat outside and he was awesome enough to bring our dog water.
All of the sandwiches come with a side of tomato bisque (small but really made for dipping), and choice of coleslaw or fresh made potato chips. Great taste, our drinks and food came out within 5-10 mins of ordering, and even though we were outside Frankie was super attentive.
They haven't officially opened yet, but so far they're doing an awesome job.
When signing the bill my boyfriend even forgot to write in a tip, Frankie walked away with a smile on his face and still wished us a good day. We thankfully realized the mistake and went back to give him his well deserved tip and an apology.
I recommend this place to anyone and can't wait to see how their menu expands/changes when they officially open.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Ros Rio R.DeLand, FL8164221Jul 19, 2016Updated review
Staff from YOLO did reach out to tell me they were still in "soft opening" mode, I wish we knew this while we dined.
There's a ton of potential for this establishment and only wish the best. I also learned my sandwich, the grotto had a cheese substitution and the wait staff should have told me. Now makes sense as to why the sandwich seemed off point. I still stick to my observation that a better quality beacon should be used and the tomato should be seasoned.

Honest review...
Guys, it ain't a 5 star restaurant by any means.
My sandwich which took 15 minutes to receive was "the grotto". Not worth $9 IMHO.
*two under buttered slices of bread
* possibly two slices of the most ungooey "smoked" Gouda - flavorless.
* two super thin slices of chewy beacon.
* a flavorless unseasoned slice of tomato.
* small Tacky STYROFOAM cup of cold bland tomato soup.
* a handful of bagged chips
There were a few hipsters behind the counter playing with cocktails and taste testing with the finger over the straw method, ugh.
The wait staff were friendly and attentive.
I'm sure some may disagree with this review, but be honest so that others really know how the food rates, 5 stars- not so much....Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jul 17, 2016Previous reviewHonest review...

I feel like everytime I go in here the rating drops. Today we showed up wanting some grilled cheese. When we arrived it was latin night or something. Once we entered and found a place to sit we waited about 5 mins to order drinks because that is how long it took to be acknowledged. My wife told the bar tender she wanted to order food when she placed her drink order. 30 mins later and 20 mins after I was finally acknowledged for a drink still no option to order food. Finally
decided to leave as the service was subpar. Not sure I am gonna go back.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0Jun 16, 2017Previous reviewI feel like everytime I go in here the rating drops. Aug 26, 2016Previous reviewI do not know if they changed the tomato soup recipie but it was not even 1/2 as good as the first time and the tater to upgrade was not worth it because they were soggy.
Jul 17, 2016Previous reviewI will not lie at first I did not want to go to this place because of the name. I feel like it is kitchy and not a place I really wanted to go. My wife stated to me that she really wanted to go here so last night I decided to take her in to see what it is all about. Right now it is the soft opening so I will take this into account for my review.
We were seated right away with no issues. Our waitress was really nice and friendly and gathered our drinks rather quickly. They did not have any beers on tap right now and no beer menu which was a down fall. I really hope they come up with a beer menu. Our waitress stated they have not brought in the kegs for the taps since it is still in the soft opening faze. They did have a full premium liquor bar. I felt the drinks were a little high but still great drinks.
The grilled cheese sandwiches were amazing. There was so much flavor and the tomato soup which came with it was the best I have ever had. I hate tomato soup so much but this one was amazing. The issue they will face is that it took 40 mins to get the food and there was maybe a total of 20 people in the bar. I hope they are still learning the tricks and trade. Overall this did not deter my rating! I will go back here again.
