Delicious steakhouse serving fine yummy cuisine. Starter bread nicely warm with onion toppings. Forest mushroom truffle soup with Parmesan cheese has delightfully rich fragrance. Sautéed prawn goes well with rich lobster cream and toasted garlic flakes. Rib eye steak is juicy flavorful nicely char broiled. Chocolate cake dessert is a sweet finish.

Came here for dinner with my boyfriend using the Amex love@dining privileges which applied only to a 5 course prix fixe menu.
Everything on the menu was good except the steak, which was shocking considering that this is a steak house.
We started off with the beef carpaccio, which was tasty with thinly sliced beef balanced nicely with an arugula salad.
The cauliflower soup was tasty too. I found the crab cake a tad on the fishy side, but the tartar sauce helps.
The steak was the most disappointing. We paid an additional $25 supplement for the US rib eye, but unfortunately the chef had cut the meat wrong and half the steak ended up just being fat. There was barely 3oz of edible steak. The Australian rib eye tasted way better, more tender and juicy. That said, both steaks were cooked to the perfect medium rare.
Our server ended up comping us with two glasses of espresso martini for the inedible steak which was nice, but we did come here for the steak :(
Desserts were a spread and we ended up filling up on them instead.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brett S.Talus, Issaquah, WA22117Nov 11, 2023
I'll start by saying my steak was excellent!
I also got the lobster bisque which was nothing special.
The staff could have been nicer. I dined by myself and it seemed like they were rushing me to leave so they could use my table. Prices were very high. Noise level was on the higher end. The location was difficult to find.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 2, 2022
Delicious! Tried eating here yesterday but they close at 230pm. Make sure you do have reservations, we got lucky a party canceled and they were able to fit us in. They have a fixed lunch menu. The cream of forest mushrooms was amazing. Moved on to the prime ribeye and the flavor was extraordinary. I'm not a fan of Brussels but these had an amazing flavor to them. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Australia themed. The ambience was cozy, the food was the standard fare. A bit on the pricy side. The cuts were nice and evenly cooked according to your desired taste.
Nice place to have a chat or to do a business deal. Large selection of wines so you can have it all...Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 12, 2016
We ordered from the set menu. Most of us had the Sirloin steak. They don't understand what is Medium. All those orders came out as Well Done. Wasted!
Minestrone soup was good
Best was the dessert - vanilla custard tart with mangoes and strawberries
Staff were polite but not attentive enough.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alyssa Chloe T.Singapore, Singapore10182128Feb 16, 2017
Their Wooloomooloo steak was fantastically cooked & well seasoned! It almost makes the 2 hour wait for our food worth it... almost..
Service was a bit disappointing; they forgot our reservation (wasn't the only group, the couple after us also made reservations that couldn't be found). They sat us at the bar, and though the barman was a really nice guy, he forgot to take our order, and took really long to mix our drinks because... (coming to my next point)
They were severely understaffed; it was like one waiter per section of 20+pax, and one server couldn't take orders because he wasn't allowed to? (Probably a trainee staff/ underage so he couldn't take drink orders too). I assume the kitchen was lacking humans too because nobody in our section was getting any food.
However, I must emphasize that their staff remained professional (gave out bread while we waited), and were all really nice. I would advise that they have a back up plan especially if they are expecting a lot of people. Gave this a high rating purely based on food & people service.
Would come back for the steakHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aimee C.Singapore, Singapore1757Oct 8, 2015
Sometimes, there is nothing quite like a well-seasoned, well cooked piece of steak.
Wooloomooloo delivers on the steak and also hits it out of the park with other sides as well. As mentioned by another reviewer, Jack, the general manager is also a key part of what makes this restaurant great. He is friendly, warm, and attentive to diners and his service set the restaurant apart (other servers were fine).
The Food
We started with sliders in the lounge. These were the best sliders I've ever eaten! The beef was still juicy and ground from a good cut of beef. The tomatoes, onions, and lettuce were fresh and bursting with flavor. Finally the bread was lightly toasted. I seriously loved these sliders. The caramelized onion focaccia is salty, crispy, and addictive. The taste of the mediterranean is a burrata dish with tomatoes and prosciutto. The flavors married beautifully together and the dish was salty, rich, and of course flavorful. The sirloin was a great cut of meat with good marbling and cooked to our specifications. All steaks come with 4 sauces (mushroom, peppercorn, mustard, and au jus) which tasted of rich, beef broth. The creamed spinach is a classic dish, but the truffled macaroni and cheese had wonderful, aromatic notes of truffle oil. It was divine!
I had a great dining experience here and would definitely return to get my steak and slider fix. The only odd thing is that sliders are only served in the lounge as part of happy hour. Nevertheless, I'll happily sit in the lounge and munch on them!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Josh T.Singapore, Singapore100243226Sep 23, 2015
Excellent service, above average food.
Jack, the general manager, makes the whole place tick. He's funny, attentive, charming, and ensures that the restaurant recovers from any missteps. And trust me, there are missteps.
We went for dinner, and the molten chocolate cake we ordered, that's made to order, apparently collapsed/exploded in the oven. We were not interested in ANOTHER 20 minute way after the previous fifteen minute on.
The lobster bisque had split, leaving it runny and curdled, instead of creamy and rich. Another of the sides we ordered, I forget what it was now, just tasted peculiar, with a sharp tartness instead of creaminess that we expected. That at least was taken off the bill once we highlighted it, but we didn't say anything about the bisque because it wasn't until later that I could figure out what i was so watery (and why there were curdles), and I'm not the sort to complain until I can figure out if something went wrong... or if a dish is generally bad.
The steak though, the 1.6kg bone-in steak. Oh that steak. Was amazing. Tender, succulent, juicy tasty. And the beef carpaccio? Fatty and well marbled melt in your mouth raw beef. Quite simply, Wooloomooloo is a steakhouse, and they know their beef. Tread around the rest of the menu with care because it can be hit and miss... but damn. That beef.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Michaelson N.Singapore, Singapore093Jan 4, 2016
Came here twice. Have to say that the steak is really juicy and flavourful. The sauces that come along with it were really interesting and adds a lot more color to the meal.
The bread served as appetizer is very fragrant too. It's free flow too (cheap skates like me take note).
Surprisingly the staff are friendly and not pretentious. My friend and I wore shorts and slippers there once. The staff just giggled and joked with us.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
