Customer service, horrible. I didn't cancel 24 hours before my reservations and was charged $50 for a no show basically. I tried calling this establishment at the moment it opened as well as sending a message through open table. in the middle of the night I started feeling ill. I don't want to be in an establishment spreading germs and possibly getting anyone else sick and they refused to refund me $50 for the reservation. Don't get sick people, there's no empathy for you. They will not refund your money due to unfortunate circumstances. They said "yeaaaa, there's nothing we can do" but you can definitely can. As fast as you took it you can give it back.

Hello Jasmine, we understand your frustration. However, when booking the reservation you did check our restaurant policies box which clearly states our cancellation policy. By checking that box you agreed to our cancellation policy. We understand things happen but cancelling last minute hurts our hardworking staff and small restaurant. We had people calling all week for a reservation during that time period. With a last minute cancellation there is not enough time to re-book the table. All we ask is the courtesy of 24 hours notice and there will be no fee. Your 1 star review admits you did not give us 24 hours notice. Our customer service is excellent and our amazing hosts are simply enforcing the restaurant policy you agreed to. Thank you for understanding and we hope to see you another time.

Came to Wicked Craft for my friend birthday brunch.
I think this is one of my favorite brunch spots in Boston.
This restaurant is located in the north end so there is not street parking, I recommend to park down the street in the Haymarket garage (not sure of the hourly fare).
As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by friendly staff and we were immediately sat to our table once the entirety of our party arrived. The restaurant is quiet small but very nicely decorated. The music plays very loud which was not a problem to us.
Our server was very nice and very helpful, he recommended me the always sunny cocktail which was strong but delicious. For my meal I decided to go with the omelette. The omelette came with a side of potatoes which were kinda cold but they were very good. My friend ordered chicken and waffles and the waffles were so good, definitely recommend that dish.
Since it was my friend birthday she decided to get the birthday shot which comes with dry ice and it was a nice little show. Me and my friends really enjoyed having brunch here and it somewhere we will definitely be back to.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Camila N.Boston, MA06Apr 13, 2024
Didn't live up to expectations. Food was bad and overpriced. We also both got sick after eating it (pretty bad food poisoning).
Music is way too loud to the point where it is impossible to have a conversation.
The only thing worthy of a star in this review was one of the cocktails (poison ivy), which was actually tasty.
Overall wouldn't recommend.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hello Laura, we are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your experience. However, to claim you got food poisoning at our establishment has no basis in reality. We work extremely hard to ensure all of our food is prepared, handled, and stored with extreme safety precautions. There are plenty of other quiet restaurants in the North End. We are an energetic restaurant and lounge. We're sorry you were looking for a different atmosphere but many of our guests come back week after week because of the environment we have created here. Thank you

Overall this place was very cool. The ambiance and music were off the charts.
A few things could've been a little better. We had a reservation for my friends birthday dinner at 9 PM, but unfortunately they were unable to seat us at that time. There was a party before us that was still at our table at 9, so we had to wait outside for an extra 15ish minutes for the table to be ready. This was unfortunate because it was a surprise birthday dinner and it could've risked the whole surprise. Due to the small size of the place as well, we couldn't wait inside, so we had to stand in the cold.
However when we did get seated, our waiter was great. He managed all 11 of us really well and was very attentive. The food wasn't the greatest I ever had but everyone enjoyed it. They also did apologize for us waiting.
They have really cool drink presentations with cannons and strobe lights. My friend got the birthday shot which was super cool and we all split a money shot.
This place is expensive but it was a fun night out so it was worth it I think.
Definitely make reservations because it's so tiny inside and you won't get seated without one.
Overall I enjoyed my experience, I just wish it was a little bigger inside. Hopefully they can open up a new location soon!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - Apr 29, 2024
how fun this place was!! We stopped here walking the Freedom Trail for a drink and stayed for 3. We didn't have any food but it looked delicious coming out of the kitchen. Staff were friendly and the bartender was great ( spunky and sassy) played fun music for the younger crowd ! Definitely a place to hit up in the north end

Wicked was a cool trendy spot, lots of faux greenery and neon for your aspiring influencer to take pictures. (Insert sarcastic tone here)
We got here at opening thankfully, the spot fills up pretty quickly. Food was pretty good, but seems overpriced for a breakfast burger and some of their other dishes. The breakfast flatbread was a huge portion I will say, and seemed like the best bang for your buck.
They have a full bar, beers on tap, wine and cocktails. Descent rotation of local beers. Wicked Craft is worth checking out at least once, cousin.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Elena S.Somerville, MA1557111Apr 19, 2024
This place is really fun and good experience for a birthday or celebration. Their drinks all have great presentations. I love the different options for espresso martinis. The food is okay, average but again the presentation was great. The service is not the best in my experiences so far and I have been several times now. Great vibes and decor inside though.

I went here for drinks and lived their craft cocktails! I got the sugar plum drink which was pink with dry ice smoking off the top. That was very pretty and tasted pretty good (very strong). Then I got the snow angel martini which was white with snowflakes printed on top. I loved this drink! So sweet and tasty. Overall, great place for drinks.

Aesthetic cute spot in Boston's North End. Brunch vibes were energetic. Good music. Food was good. Chicken and waffles was my favorite of everything we got. The eggs bites were nice but kind of plain. The pancake bowl was way bigger than expected. Drinks were great. Recommend the Midas Touch. Pistachio martini didn't taste like pistachio but was still very good for an expresso martini. Everything was reasonably priced. Parking in north end is always a challenge. Service was personable and didn't have to wait too long for anything.

I've gotten drinks here before, and I highly recommended this restaurant to my friend while we were planning a dinner during my visit to Boston. However, my experience was very different this time.
When making a reservation, we were explicitly told we could come in at 7:00 for a window seat, or 8:30 for a table. If this restaurant claims a reservation only guarantees a spot in the restaurant, and not a specific table, then that needs to be communicated to the staff, so the customers understand this as well. If we were told we would be sitting on bar seats facing the window, we wouldn't have a problem.
I also work in the service industry, so I'm very aware of how reservations work. When we were told the two empty tables needed to accommodate two parties of two, that was totally understandable. However, My restaurant also has window bar seats and tables. I always let my customers know when making reservations because it is two completely different experiences. Sitting at a window bar with three people makes it extremely difficult for the two people on the ends to have a conversation. Not to mention the people walking the streets and staring at me while I'm eating. All I'm saying is the communication we were given over the phone changed our dinner experience entirely.
The food wasn't that great either, so there wasn't much to make up for. Our server was great, so I will say this restaurant has a fantastic team.
I've seen the way the owner responds to negative reviews, including the one my friend had written who was with me when this happened. A simple apology on behalf of the staff's communication could've gone a long way.
tldr: When dining at this restaurant with a party of three, be aware that you could be sitting at a window bar instead of an actual table. This changes your experience :)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

Hello Kayla, we do our best to accommodate everyone's requests but when a reservation is booked on a night when we are busy sometimes there isn't room to switch tables. We have many people dining in our restaurant and cannot always grant requests if it is at the expense of another guest. You booked a reservation for 3 so we had a space available for 3 and promptly at the time you booked. We apologize if you were unhappy with the seats and hope you understand the situation. We're glad you at least enjoyed the service from our wonderful team. Thank you and our apologies again !
