      **Customer Service based review - no work was done**

      This review is being placed simply because I went to Westgate Collision and received the most royal treatment ever! Unfortunately my insurance selected the cheaper quote but Scott Richards and his team were phenomenal. I called and spoke with a young lady prior to coming out to grab my estimate. She was so nice and very helpful. Thanks to my initial conversation with her I went ahead and showed up to grab an estimate for damages on my vehicle. Scott was patient and eager to help. I'm sure he could tell I was nervous about all of this and he did an amazing job at claiming my nerves lol. He was assertive and confident that Westgate could have my car looking almost brand new again. My insurance required me to grab two quotes. Westgate's quote was a tad bit more than the other quote I grabbed so of course the insurance is going to go with the cheaper option. The quote Scott gave me was actually good for the amount of work they were performing. With that being said, there was a man in the waiting room who had brought 3 cars down to Scott to repair and this guy could contest that the work Westgate did was A1! 5 Stars for an amazing customer service experience with Scott and his team. So sorry my insurance didn't select Westgate to perform the body work .

      Westgate is where Cars go to die. It took me 6 months to resolve a problem they created and it was only after I involved my insurance, my insurance company, embarrassed by the situation, brought my ordeal to a resolution. My vehicle was taken to Westgate for minor body damage from a front fender collision. An estimate done and submitted for less than 5k in damages and an 8 day job. A month and a half later, I was finally informed my vehicle was ready. Less than 5 miles from the facility, a catastrophic engine failure left me stranded on the road. Keep in mind, I drove the vehicle a fair amount, post collision. After a month of no response from westgate, I was finally informed that there was a blown head gasket and that the repairs were being made. A month later, I was informed there was a full engine replacement, and that once it was returned, it still wasn't running right and they believed it was the transmission block, and that they were totaling out the vehicle. MIND YOU, NOTHING!!! had been submitted to the insurance, not the request for the total loss, not the engine replacement, no engine work period. It was only after I intervened and had my adjuster and his boss contact westgate to figure out the situation. 6. months. later. DO NOT take your vehicle there, unless you can afford to be without it for 4+ months, and hope they encounter an equally epic failure as to let your insurance wipe the slate clean with your previous vehicle

      Be careful when you ge tan estimate from them for all sorts of hidden charges to up the bill. I needed to get my hood replaced, which they order a hood, paint it in a spray booth and then install it, they wanted to charge me for protecting the vehicle from overspray (they're not spraying it on the car, its sprayed in a booth) also labor for headlight assembly for both lights, they don't even have to touch the lights. I guess they're so used to dealing with insurance companies that don't ask questions that when a person is paying for it themselves and just want to pay for only the work that's really done they don't care, they have enough insurance jobs. They don't need to be honest (where has integrity gone in the world) anyway if you don't mind paying for work they don't do than hire them. Its like hiring someine to mow the lawn and they charge you for mowing the lawn and removing bushes and you don't even have bushes (really) be careful!!!!

      STAY AWAY... VERY FAR AWAY...

      My brand new Jeep Wrangler was hit in the back panel. I decided to take my jeep to Westgate Collision Center since they are near a Jeep dealership and I assumed would have the most repair experience and knowledge. I was wrong.

      I explained to the manager before repairs started that my jeep had no scratches other than for the back damage and I expected it to be returned that way... he guaranteed me that it would be.

      It took well over a month to try and fix. The inside of the back was severely scratched up and the gate arm was broken. After numerous attempts to get it fixed (and traveling up to the collision center), they indicated they would order the parts... when I called a week later, they said the parts were on backorder... so I called a different dealership in Raleigh and they stated they could have the part in two days... another lie... instead of calling me, the manager texted me a picture of some part and told me to come by to see if this was the right part???? Really???

      Since then, I have had to take me jeep (3) times to get leaks fixed in the top (the top has never been off) and I now will have to pay to get the back fixed as they just keep giving me the runaround...

      DO NOT GO TO WESTGATE COLLISION...

      If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Al and Scott did an amazing job and really made it clear to understand what I needed done with my Jeep. They also kept me very updated and my Jeep looks better than it did before. Thanks y'all!

      Absolutely refuse to give you a call to update you on the progress of your vehicle. When you call to ask the status of the vehicle they are rude and act like you were being a complete jerk. Not one single phone call when the car was there for over a month. Would never take my car this place again beware
