Liz the manager said at this Wendy's location they do not serve half spicy half plain nuggets like other Wendy's because they're not franchise owned.

Seems to me like this location is cheating customers. I ordered a meal with large fries. I happened to be watching the person at the fries station fill the containers as in other fast food restaurants. But then, interestingly, saw him put a significant number of fries back from the container into the station. I received one of those orders and it was not even three-quarters full.
In my opinion, this is not the case of over filing, and reducing to a full size order. It looked to me like purposefully shortchanging customers of a significant amount of the portion for which they paid and were entitled to receive. I cannot imagine the employee doing this unless directed to do so.
I have been to at least one other Wendy's where an employee told me the manager directed them to do the same thing, i.e., not fill the fries to the full order. It seems to be an easy way to increase profits, as doing so consistently can significantly reduced product costs. Take, for example, 25% out of each order, and you get one extra order at no cost for every three your prepare.
I am not a glutton for french fries, but feel I should get what I pay for. I wonder if Wendy's corporate is aware of the situation, or worse, whether they condone it or even encourage it. I hope not.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael G.Jersey City, NJ0630Mar 25, 2023
We came five minutes before they close, and we were able to get her food and Food was so good. This place is the best. Ambiance.

So Wendy's decided to change their original fries recipe because they don't want their fries to get soggy? Serious?? I just had the l'ew fried." Last night and it was nasty ass helll. One of the best things I loved about Wendy's was the fries.

Placed my order through the app less than a minute before I walked in. It was almost done being prepared and the staff was very friendly. They even gave me extra sauce when requested.

Normally I don't have an issue with my food. But tonight I found a really long curly hair in my baked potato. It might have been because of the late night crew, or someone was tired, but it's something that needs to be said.

Come on Wendy's, I order large and medium fries with combo and there are way more fries in my medium than large. This happens a lot. Come on with this cheap approach or this illusion of paying for "more"

The sauces!
I ask for 6 sauces total. They either mention, "Oh you only wanted one 6 piece nuggets". And I reply yes I use the sauces for my burger and fries as well.
Or
I ask for the 6 sauces from the person at the drive thru headset but then 3 times in a row over the month, i get 2 -4sauces. Then I ask for the amount I wanted and I get
This dirty look like I'm wrong for asking for what I ordered.
My point here is this.
1. The person taking my order isn't the one packing my order, so they just blatantly ignore what's on the screen???
2. If this is such a hot commodity, then charge for it
3. Would you forgot to give me my burger? Or my drink?
4. Fill the different size fries accordingly , you have the space, fill it up.
5. If this is a corporate thing then give me their email.
6. If this a local establishment thing then I want to speak to someone about this. First time at this Wendy's location and I was blown away by the great customer service I received. Usually when you think of fast food you automatically think an attitude is suppose to come with your meal. Ummm, no! That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works.
They brought back the Pulled Pork Cheese Fries with tender hickory-smoked pulled pork, rich cheddar cheese sauce, diced red onions and your choice of three BBQ sauces - smoky, spicy or sweet. I went with Spicy BBQ. It wasn't spicy at all.
It was delicious. They also have a Pulled Pork Burger that I'd like to try next. I also had a Tropical Green Tea that was out of this world. The nice citrusy flavors works perfectly when paired with a hot summer day.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - 330284921Aug 20, 2019
We went for the drive through and fortunately it was pretty quick. The fries were piping hot but really did not taste like anything...sad. We were looking forward to the spicy chicken nuggs. Nothing too spectacular. Perhaps because it was not that hot when we started eating them? We got to try one person. It was a rainy day and the bottom of our paper bag got wet and *bam* all the rest of the order fell through when we got back to the apartment. It was a sad moment. I decided to take advantage of the Door Dash free spicy nuggets promo at the time (in retrospect not sure if it was really "free" because I had to pay a "Small delivery fee" of $2.00...I probably should've ordered more food). The delivery took 30 minutes which was 4 minutes early (woohoo!), but the food again didn't taste super great. It was just okay. Maybe just maybe if I go inside and order, it'll be better. Or maybe just maybe I'm not buying into the hype of spicy nuggs.
