About the Business
Since '69, Wendy's has been committed to not cutting corners -- on our standards, or our fresh, never frozen beef. And every time you square up on one of our meals, you can taste the difference: Quality is our recipe. From building a better breakfast with fresh-cracked eggs and oven-baked bacon, to changing our fries to serve 'em up hot & crispy, every single time -- we're giving the people what they want. Our Kids Meal? Not kidding around. Our spicy nuggets? Ab-so-lute fire. And, of course, the Frosty is our signature frozen item -- no cold, freezer-burnt burgers over here. All of this deliciousness, *all* for a value that doesn't sacrifice flavor. Swing into your local Wendy's today, or order online to earn rewards in the Wendy's app. Choose Wisely, Choose Wendy's.That's all. You can stop reading now. I just left Wendy's at Opdyke the worst place to get your food
The manager is the worst he was the nastiest I have ever had to look at in my life
We waited at the window for 15 minutes cars drive away
So we decided to go and ask he said it sounded like we blew horn which was not true
If you open a bronco and close the door it sounds like a double horn he refuse to serve
He was so nasty he made me puke
If you live in this area which I done even though I like the strawberry lemonade don't not a pleasant place to eat don't know what you will get
They need to close the establishment
Not very happy with is Wendy's if he is on duty don't eat there
Short white male
Not good stop before you eat
On a Sunday how can you represent Wendy's not good he needs to go
I will tell the people in my neighborhood not to go there
I think I can do that
Ugly not good to eat

Wait time was actually insane. There were 3 people in front of me and it took 35 minutes to get my food. There's no other option than drive thru. I'm pretty sure they haven't opened the "dining room" since covid so you have to wait 45 minutes+ if there's 4 or more ppl in front of you. It is in a business district so I know a lot of people TRY to go there for lunch and come back late because their 30 minute break would turn into 45 minutes before they got their food. And 90% of the time the workers seem like they could not care less if you got your food or not they just wanted you gone. It's happened more than once that someone has tossed the bag through my window and slam the sliding window shut before I could tell them it was an entirely different person's order. I promise you the Wendy's corporation does not care abt this location nor how their employees portray their business

After reading reviews, I decided to go anyways about how terrible the service and weight is. I got them. The drive-through line didn't move for about seven minutes. It moved but the line ahead of at the window was really long. So I decided to get out of line and go inside. The manager said you only can place an order in the drive-through. We're not open inside. I explained that I just had gotten out of line and he said sorry I can't help you. It's been fucking like this since 2 PM.so I decided to leave they cannot handle making hamburgers and chicken. Poorly run. Ronnie the manager was his name

I've been here a handful of times and I've never really had a problem with it, other than the speaker sometimes sounds muffled.
I appreciated the patience of the employee when I'm unsure of what to order.
I didn't know you had to ask for ketchup or salt though, so I liked the signage. And mad respect to them for legit letting customers know they were about to have an inspection so they needed to prepare for that. No shame, no judgment!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Anthony B.Troy, MI02Oct 27, 2023
Slowest Wendys I've been to in my life. Regardless of making a few errors here & there. Understandable when busy but using the term fast food for this location is a disgrace.

My last two visit were disappointing because I have a balance in the Wendy's App that different workers there were unable to figure out how I use it to pay for my order. The food was good as usual but it's frustrating that I loaded a gift card balance into the App and it seems locked away.

I don't eat at Wendy's too often for no particular reason. Every time I do eat here it is usually either because I'm ready for a fast food change of pace or, more likely, because I have a coupon!
The service at this location has been consistently good in my experience. The food is pretty much the same as other Wendy's locations and it has been served hot every time I stopped in here. I did notice that a number of low reviews seemed to be focused on the drive thru which I seldom use.
The dining area is shared with a Tim Horton's restaurant and has been kept reasonably clean as are the restrooms. While it is not a gourmet dining experience, you can generally count on tasty hot food, a reasonable price, served up by a friendly crew, with (usually) no surprises! - Michael M.Charter Township of Clinton, MI16052Sep 17, 2021
Look--sometimes leaving negative reviews for fast food places is justified. I've done it as most of us have. However, I've just read through most of the recent negative reviews at this location and must of them are just absurd Karens. It comes as no great shock to me that a lot of the people complaining seem to be a lighter shade of pale.
To be honest, I'm a little jealous of the users who actually take the time to post a review about them being slow or "the workers don't talk to you." The reason being--I wish I had this much time on my hands. The workers don't talk to you? I'd like for each of these people to work in fast food during a pandemic where they're belittled each day for not serving people fast enough.
I've come to this location approximately once a week for the past eight-ish months. Have they been slow? Yes. Have I come during the lunch rush during a pandemic? Yes. Have I ever thought to complain about them being slow? No. Why? BECAUSE IT'S A PANDEMIC! They are understaffed and can't find workers. It's the times. Don't like it? Apply and do better.
I also choose to wait in line. As many people have also noted, the line often wraps around the building to the Tim Horton's side. To me, this completely indicates there will be a wait. If you don't want to wait, there's plenty of other food places in the area, but to complain is just showing off your privilege.
My food has always been hot and tasted fresh. I think maybe once in the many times I've come here has my order been wrong. And by wrong I mean it had lettuce and mayo when I asked for it to be left off. I didn't let it ruin my day. Also, anyone complaining about using the mobile app likes to waste money. There's always deals on the app! Use the app and save yourself some money!
But most importantly, be patient. Take the time to breathe. And when it's your turn to get up to the window to get your food and it's handed to you without the employee speaking to you--simply say thank you, smile and leave.
A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE EMPLOYEES AT THIS WENDY'S FOR THE GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE! I know you're doing the best you can under the circumstances and I appreciate you for it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Don M.Royal Oak, MI2668Jan 7, 2021
I think Dave Thomas would be rolling over in his grave if he ate the food that bares his name from this location. The first thing I pulled out of the bag was a fry, as most people do when leaving a drive theu. It was warm but overcooked and tasted kinda like burnt fish, so I guess they are cutting corners and they aren't changing their fry oil very often....or in the last year. On top of that the amount of fries was probably for a small but they didn't bother to fill it.
The Big Bacon Classic was utterly disgusting. The patty was lukewarm, the bacon was burnt, tasted like it was burnt and was like chewing on tiny rocks. Also they put a piece of romaine lettuce on which made the burger bitter and i swear they used pickled onions, they where so limp and tasted like they had been canned.
This place is a dumpster fire. You'll find nothing but the need to purge yourself after you eat it.
I paid nearly $10 for a supposedly higher quality product. Save your money and go get something that will be edible. The Burger King down the road is much better and far cheaper.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John G.Pontiac, MI143156Jul 23, 2021
This location is a waste of time. They will only serve mobile orders and DoorDash. I must be too much of an effort do deal with customers in the drive thru.
