Way overpriced and small selection.
Tip: If you don't feel like going to a better distributor in the area, go to the King Kullen right behind this place. The selection is about the same but the prices are way, way lower and the employees much friendlier. Also there is lots of parking and never any lines.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Christine V.Manhattan, New York, NY031Aug 4, 2019
This place is under new management and it shows! I care in on a Saturday and realized they had redecorated and organized the place. Everything is super easy to find. I went in looking from some flavored seltzer's and walked about with some more light craft beers. One of the ladies there I believe her name is Jen knew all about every beer in there. To top it all off after my purchase Cristina helped me load everything to my car!!! Thank you for making this a go to place for me. Highly recommend.

BEWARE - they sell expired beer. When I got home and realized it was expired, I tried to return it. The rude employee told me it was against NY state law to take back beer. I questioned, wasn't it illegal to sell expired beer? I was answered with rudeness and now am stuck with 2 cases of expired beer - which tastes completely sour! I'll never go back!!

Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. While the selection is pretty decent, the customer service is absolutely despicable. There is a "growler room "with about 8 to 10 different beers on tap, however, you're not allowed to sample the beer unless you buy it first. Yes you heard me correctly. Let that sink in....According to a very knowledgeable gray-haired employee he said "that is the house policy not mine". Nice copout pal.
But wait it gets even better. Upon completing my purchase, my change was literally thrown back at me by a portly, soon to be diabetic man. Way to go!
Needless to say I shan't be returning to this place ever again and I advise you to do the same.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Brian D.Massapequa Park, NY2583Apr 4, 2018
All I can say is as always this is an overpriced distributer marking up beer 30-50%. Terrible

This is the worst beer distributor around. The prices are completely absurd. They're beyond overpriced, and the guy at the counter was incredibly rude. Wanted to argue with me about the prices. You can go anywhere and find the same beers for less. Not paying $40 for a mix and match 4 pack.

This is the first place to ever receive the title "Best of Long Island " that I actually agree deserves it! First of all the staff is friendly, accommodating and know what they're talking about. The variety is insane. Found my Crispin here and sooooo much more. Plus, you can make your own six pack (http://www.wantaghbeverage.com/beer.html#mixsix), they deliver for free and they have GROWLERS. Really? Really?????? Sik absolutely sik.
I especially love that while driving home from a concert at a 11:30pm, wanting a drink but not wanting to go to the bar, the light from the awning glowed brightly like a beacon in the night to save me. Check it out, you're sure to not be disappointed.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John L.Troy, NY19Dec 12, 2012
Well, I placed my order and was charged right away, but it's a week out now and I still haven't seen my order or had anyone return my e-mail. I tried calling but all I got was an answering machine. I will wait 24 hours, if I've still heard nothing then I will contact my credit card company's fraud department to re-coop my lost / stolen charge. Not keeping in contact with a customer is the mark of a BAD company.
Well, after several e-mails and phone calls...nothing. So I guess that they'd rather just have me let the credit card company go after them, okay. From now on I will deal strictly with Half Time Beverage and Beer World.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dalena T.Hicksville, NY281235Jul 26, 2015
Heard they have a great selection. Too bad the website is wrong in saying that they close at 11. The sign says they close at 9 and they shut the door in my face, and a group of about 8 others, at 8:55. Guess you are ok with losing out on what would have probably been about $200.

If i could've given negative stars, i would've. We asked for a taste of their beers on tap to decide which beer to get in a growler. We were reluctantly given one ridiculously small cup sample for three people. The beer tasted funky so we decided not to get a growler and were met by RUDE comments and arguments from the two male employees. They tried to rush us out by saying they were closing in 10 mins at 8:35pm. What an odd time to close.
We then decided to purchase a six pack of River Horse Tripel horse belgian style tripel. They charged us $17 which was clearly overpriced, but we bought it anyway to avoid further harassment by the workers. As we left, we heard them making comments about us. Overall, a terrible interaction with the staff. Sad because they have a pretty decent craft beer selection. I will never come back to this establishment and I advise you all to do the same.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
