Walmart Supercenter

I saw a mouse in the store. I am scared. Also there is mold in the online order bin.

Are all Walmarts like this now? Having one or no workers at the checkout registers? I'm not complaining about the pharmacy, they're good over there. But the actual store...I would leave zero stars if this site would allow it.

After 6PM when other working people are trying to shop after a long day at work; Seeing mothers with their young children and seniors waiting in a line that's 8+ carts deep, and no one calls to open another checkout stand? By the time you've got your groceries paid for, your refrigerated items are room temperature and your frozen items are thawed out. Literally no one watching over people cutting in that one line either. Plenty of workers with the clipboards hovering around self checkout though.

No wonder you see so many people walking out without paying in other Walmarts these days. I wonder how often it happens in Ontario. I suppose this kind of management is instructed by corporate and the poor workers would rather work anywhere else. I feel for them, because who wants to work at an understaffed store where you see customers literally calling HR from the store bathrooms to tell them that they're about to abandon an entire cart full of perishables because now that one line at checkout has doubled since she took her child in for a quick emergency potty break.

Oh speaking of bathrooms, as of 45 minutes ago, the handicapped stall in the women's restroom needs a cleaning. Someone left blood dripping down the outside of the toilet. Better off shopping at Winco across the street or driving to Albertsons in Payette or even Emmet. Pack an ice chest if you really need it.

I stopped in today for a pick up order so this review needs to consider that I did not go inside! I have actually never been inside the store before.

I love the Walmart pick up service especially when I have heavy items or a lot of items. Today I had both! In fact I had so much that it took two of their carts and two people to load it up. That always makes me feel kind of bad but given the number of injuries I have I have come to terms with allowing young whippersnappers to help!

Loading the car was quite a chore. It was literally full trunk backseat everything. Only about a two minute wait before they came out to my car it did take them a bit to load but they were hustling. Both employees were friendly and nice.

Since I ordered using the Walmart app I'll take license to comment on that while I'm here. It is probably the best one out there in terms of how it tracks you as you approach and when you arrive. The notifications also work well. It makes the whole experience a while oiled machine.

I had a lot of trouble during this order but ultimately I got through it. When I arrived nothing I purchased was out of stock but I did have some substitutions. That was actually better than a lot of my other pick ups at other Walmart stores. I guess I get the right store on the right day!

I will also comment on rising prices since it seems appropriate. Yes prices have gone up. I think Walmart has done a pretty good job of holding the line relative to other grocery stores. Yes prices have gone up but it does not seem as extreme as the store closest to my home that shall go unnamed.

Walmart is my go to for pantry items. I did not buy any freezer items or anything fresh. All cans, jars, boxes, packages. Pricing on those items seem to have gone up about 25%. That's my best guess. That's just today!

My Brother and I come here for the Black Friday Sale to find out Walmart had their Black Friday Sale on Thursday?

So. The sale was long gone before we got there but we found a sale or two in the store. So shopping was easy as the store was not that busy. The only people being cray were Walmart employees. Restocking and talking bad about children, In the presence of children!

It's really too bad there isn't a competitive store with respectful employees. I would shop there!

Made apptmt for vision new rx only at the Walmart Vision Center in Ontario Oregon, once there, they tried to upsell me by refusing to do just a new rx only, claimed they "had to" do a full vision exam and dilate my eyes, also the price for just the vision RX was twice as high as a FULL eye exam at a local ophthalmologists, will never patronize them again.

We needed dry ice for a party and Red Apple was out. Walmart saved the day. Homemade rootbeer isn't the same without dry ice.

The price was fair. Remember to not touch dry ice with your hands directly.

On Monday we bought a cheap set of floor mats. The wife put them in the car. When i drove the car the mats did not stay were you put them or stay flat. The wife had the receit and took the mats to customer service. The receit was not good enough for and they made my wife go all the way to automotive and get the paper off a set. She came back with was the same price but had a different code than the receit and she would not let her return the mats.I lost my temper and told your lazy rude clerk she could put the mats were the sun does"t shine. She showed what customer service at that store is. JK

This is definitely a bigger Walmart. Some things were hard for me to find: like a certain beverage. It definitely has a ton of things to offer on sale from the bakery, so that was nice to pick through and find some discounted goodies. I did notice some items like their wax melts are a bit more expensive than other Walmart's I've been to Recently, but I assume their location has to do with that. I wish I would have paid attention to the woman's name that checked us out she was amazing! Super friendly and personable and she definitely loves her job! She was raving about how Walmart thinks ahead on products and labeling. Telling us how the long bar code on the water is so they could scan it easier; and that heavy items have the barcode on top rather than on bottom, and that their items are even designed to fit in/on the shelves better! It was really fun to see someone love their job so much!

Just bought a fan, once I brought it home I plugged it in and a giant spark shot from the cord. I looked closer and realized the cord was half exposed in a spot. The fan failed to spin at any speed after this. Walmart return workers please check the returns very carefully, it's probably unlikely but what if an exposed wire led to a fire? Employees are always friendly though, this was my first bad experience

This store smells like sewer the minute you walk through the front door. The women's restroom is FIL:THY. The customer service is non-existent. There are NEVER enough checkouts open. Today after waiting in line 18 minutes and the line never moved and not being able to find a checkout that didn't have at least 4 customers lined up I left my $125+ groceries in the cart and left. There will be a new WINCO opening up this year.............NOT SOON ENOUGH.
