Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux - Alexandria Restaurant

We really liked this place. We ordered cheese sticks as appetizers and they were the juiciest biggest cheesy sticks we've ever had. They were huge in size and stuff extremely with mozzarella cheese. The service was also very quick. We also ordered two of their burgers which were also huge. We definitely had left overs. The ambiance is very sporty/casual and they're well known for playing sports games.

We came here for dinner as it was near our hotel during a road trip stop.
It was kinda musty smelling inside which was offputting but we were hungry and decided to give it a go anyway. Fortunately where they sat us the smell wasn't prevalent. I think issue with HVAC system or something as the place was pretty clean.

I'm glad we stuck through because the food was really good. On this particular road trip we had decent/mediocre food at a few locations with great service. Here the service was pretty meh but everyone loved the food. They weren't rude but ya know those "bored" servers going through the motions? That's how it was.

Cheese logs (giant mozz sticks) are highly recommended. The alfredo pasta that my kids split was really good too. We did not expect the food to be as good as it was, so would definitely comeback if we ever stay by here again.

My friend and I are in the area on our way back to Georgia and decided we wanted some seafood. She chose this spot.

We were seated right away and our serviced provided us with a QR code for the beer menu. She was helpful with choice making including bringing a sample for my friend. There are lots of local choices.

Our server also helped us with the menu. We started with Boudin balls. They were spicy but yummy.

I ordered the catfish atchatalaya with fried filets. The presentation was lovely and the flavor was good.

My friend had pasta Alfredeaux and a Caesar salad both of which she enjoyed.

It was a little loud for my taste but it is a sports bar.

Overall, we enjoyed our meal here.

The usual - go there to watch some games and someone switches LSU baseball to NASCAR in the 7th inning and the game is close - so tired of this - they refuse to train their people correctly on how to manage the TV's - middle of Louisiana's and they switch off the LSU game - unbelievable- I thought Walkons was a LSU based company - guess not!

Service was friendly and speedy. Dining area was clean.
Food is pricey for the portion sizes that you get. Food tasted like some premade meal that you could get at Sams club.

This restaurant has a huge private parking lot and tons of seating. There is a bar in the middle with additional first come, first served seating. There is also televisions all around the place with sports playing. You will find a pop-a-shot game near the waiting area. And if you come on the weekend, you will probably have to wait. They use the texting system notify you via your cell phone when your table is ready. The bathroom was filthy when I went in there. the sink was a mess and the trash can was over flowing.

The have the friendliest staff there. They were very attentive. The menu consists of typical pub food, beer, and some exotic signature cocktails. T

I ordered the gator wrap which came with fries and a Death Valley cocktail to wash it down.

My food was good. Not that I would be getting it again or gotta have it or anything like that. My cocktail was delicious though. After eating my meal I had some room in my stomach and decided to get some desert. I went with the bread pudding. It was very good.

All in all, this is a decent spot. I would have probably gave it 3 and a half stars if I could have, but it was closer to a 4 than a 3. Definitely worth checking out if you looking for a sports bar to get something to eat and/or drink while watching the big game.

Just left here our server was Sysali she was Awesome kept our Iced Tea full checked back with us throughout our meal. Very friendly beautiful smile answered questions about menu. We even asked to be seated at a different location and was able to make that happen. Made for a nice meal with my Granddaughter will definitely be back and will ask for Sysali!!

Food was good, bartender service was god awful. Got like one interaction and they weren't even busy. Never got checked on, never even got asked if I needed a menu. 7/25/2023

My family and I went here for dinner yesterday. The service was good. It's a nice place to watch games. Lots of tvs for sports. The waitress we had was good. The food was good. Nothing spectacular but good. We got a variety of things I think the adult grilled cheese and the Hawaiian pulled pork tacos were the best. The pasta was very dry hardly any sauce. But other then that overall we enjoyed the meal. And the prices were not bad at all.

Service was not that great and the food was nothing to call home about. Very loud and not a great environment.
