Walgreens

This was my go-to pharmacy for all of my prescriptions. They closed so abruptly without any notice, and they didn't even leave the "Walgreens" signs on the building. I got a letter in the mail from them 10 days after their reported closing saying that they transferred all of my prescriptions to Rite Aid down the street on Pine. That Rite Aid is a dump, so I transferred my prescriptions to CVS across the street on LB Blvd.

I loved this Walgreens location because of the pharmacy staff. Always so polite and kind to me! It's a huge disappointment that we as customers were not even notified that their location was closing. Like someone else said, it would have been nice to transfer my prescriptions to a preferred pharmacy.

I had an issue with Walgreens pharmacy billing TriCare. After speaking with TriCare twice they informed me the issue was on Walgreens side. I was getting frustrated with the back and forth until today. Phillip (the pharmacist at 600 Long Beach Blvd Long Beach, CA store # 7870) went above and beyond to resolve the issue. He phoned TriCare and was able to get the issue resolved promptly. It is so nice to encounter employees that truly care.

This was my go to pharmacy when I lived across the street. I moved but still used the pharmacy because of the people there. The store closed permanently without notification leaving me in a scramble with my prescriptions. Disappointed that they closed so abruptly without giving me a chance to move my prescriptions to a more convenient location.

Called three different times to see if my disposable camera pics were ready and staff could not get it together. First time I was on hold so long after speaking w someone it disconnected automatically. Second time the person didn't know how to use the 'hold' feature (he said so under his breath before I was disconnected). Third time the automated voice system said "sorry the photo department is not available" and disconnected me. Smh.

I've gone to this store for years and there's this extremely rude worker. Dakota he's a chubby white guy that thinks he's royalty and will not help you at all, his words " I don't care how long you've done this " as I was trying to explain to him that I have never had a problem at that location until him. He is the worst person and probably hates his own life that he has to be a jerk to customers. It's his job to be there and try to help and it baffles me how much audacity he has to speak to someone so rudely.

Was in need of help with staff they did not be of any help at all. Good thing I was able to find what I needed but it was all self help. I should have been in and out of this area

Functional Walgreens. Convenient stop for some quick medical supplies and snacks. I rode in and out on an electric rented scooter. Staff observing COVID19 safety procedures.

Went here to purchase Witch Hazel and snickers for my sick partner. Visit was cut short by a security guard literally following me around the store after I replied, "hey" to his sudden greeting. The Security Guard didn't ask if I needed assistance or alert a customer service agent. It was basically profiling. I was in the store for a total of 5 minutes and felt bad/wrong for patronizing "His" store. Unfortunately, it was around 2130 and 45° outside -high winds and HE was uncomfortable with my hoodie. After that warm welcome I left and went across the street to CVS. Walked in and security guard greeted me. Customer service helped me find product (Witch Hazel) and I completed the purchase, everyone wins.

Great pharmacy staff.. everyone else friendly too. I've been coming here for a few years since I moved to CA. In a convenient location, just some sketchy people outside sometimes.

Disgusting pharmacy with rude pharmacists. I would not recommend coming here, not even for a Covid test.
