Waffle House - Vicksburg

Waffle House, where? These things are all over the place in the south. This was my first time eating at one. The breakfast was good, nothing spectacular. If you want a quick breakfast, I believe this is a solid option.

The service at this location was not spectacular, nor was the server super friendly, but I had coffee, food prepared in a timely fashion, was able to eat and move on with my day.

Would I go back? Maybe, if I stayed at the same hotel, and felt like getting up earlier for breakfast.

First time trying a Waffle House and it's pretty damn good. We're on a road trip from Cali and we had to stop. The service was good too. All these one stars sound like a buncha Karens if you read them. I had time to because I was on the road and it's probably all the locals that are hating lol they can't even spell. Thanks for the good food Taz and the team

The waffle wasn't cook right. Then it was nasty eggs wasn't scrambled, didn't get what I ask fa, didn't even get a drink ..... SMHHH

Fastest service we have ever had at a Waffle House. Even with the busy church crowd, they were able to have our food on the table under 10 minutes! and he ladies behind the counter knew what they were doing!! sweet and attentive!

I actually had a really good WH meal here, twice. I blame the cook, she looks like young Lori Petty in Tank Girl. Clearly takes pride in the food she cooks and is good at it. Hash browns were perfect and all the toppings were nicely cooked and chopped. No lumps in the grits. Service was fine, there's enough friendly servers in the mix that you don't feel like they collectively resent you being there. 7.5/10

Worst service ever. Only giving 1 star because there is no option for no stars. We were 1 of 3 tables in the restaurant. Let me start by saying being from California my daughter and I were looking forward to eating at a waffle house since our first ecperience in one a year ago during a visit to Georgia. We wanted my husband to experience it as well. My husband has said if all Waffle Houses are like this one he doesn't want to eat at another one. Waitress was not pleasant at all, bordering on rude. When she brought mine and my daughter's drinks she said she was waiting on the coffee. No problem, until it never came. Half way through our meal my husband mentioned that he never got his coffee. Our waitress was leaning against the counter playing on her phone and had not even looked up in a good long time. I flagged down a gentleman that I'm assuming was a busboy. He asked another waitress and she told him to pour it. He brought the coffee and was gone before I could ask for cream. Other drinks were never refilled. We finished our meal and waited for several minutes for the check that never came. I had to get up and walk over to a group of 4 or 5 employees standing around talking to ask for the check. It was only after one of them called out to our waitress that she looked up from her phone. She came over and rang up our order and I paid. Needless to say her tip was greatly reduced due to the horrible or non existent service. She definitely was not interested in doing her job. I could have almost understood the lack of service if they had been busy but the had at least twice as many employees for the amount of filled tables.

The Waffle House has always got good food .
They probably will never win any awards for cleanliness, but the food makes up for that .
I had two eggs over easy, two sausage, two pieces of bacon and toast . Always good
My wife had the pecan waffle with sausage and cheesy eggs.
If breakfast is what you are looking for , The Waffle House is where you need to go .

Terrible service. The gals bickered at each other the whole time and there didn't seem to be any management of the place. Dirty tables, dirty floors, toilet paper out, napkins and sauces out in our table...
Same delicious food- just disappointed at the way this one is run!

Employees sitting outside in their car yelling at us that it was closed. Doors were also unlocked and everything was on inside, avoid this location!!

Good food but they never answer the phone at all it's ridiculous. anytime you try to call you get sent to voicemail. if you go in right after you get sent to voicemail there arent even any customers in the restaurant just ignoring the phone to not deal with customers.
