Waffle House - Decatur

I'm sorry I ate the food! It was sooo good. I had a steak breakfast. Brandon (chef) cooked my steak to perfection. He seasoned it the way I asked him to. Thank you Brandon! Lots of black pepper and a sprinkle dinkle of salt cooked medium rare. That's it, that's all. Brooke, the cashier/ night manager was very friendly and genuine. Thank you Brooke and Brandon for a great experience. Oh yeah! My mother lived the sirlon steak and county ham.

It almost seems silly to me to review a Waffle House since most of us know what to expect but I just had to say how great the food and service are at this particular one. Came through for a few days to visit a friend who lives nearby and we ended up eating here every morning of our trip. Somehow the food is better at this one than any other I've been to and I've been to quite of few. The service was excellent, fast and friendly. Our server remembered us each day and even remembered our order! These folks are beyond awesome!!

It's a hit or miss but the breakfast is good just depends on whose working smh sad but true

I get that they were slammed late at night but they closed the store on me and hid in the back. Unprofessional and rude as hell

My husband and I came here before work since I was craving waffles. The staff was friendly and our waiter was very flexible to our seating request. The food came out hot, and just the way we ordered. My waffle and hot chocolate were perfect. My husband also enjoyed his steak and eggs. One of the better Waffle House experiences.

By far the worst/dirtiest waffle house I've been in.

My server was very attentive. I asked why the place looked the way it did, and was she working alone? Then before she could answer her other co workers started coming out the back. Not one started cleaning up. I told her as i was leaving to do me a favor and leave this establishment. She can take her customer services skills else where. Another place will appreciate her more.

The cooks eh trash. There was only one at first and he kept arguing back and forth with the server. He didn't pay attention when orders were called in to him. They way he handle orders previous to mine made me decide to just get waffles. A second cook came out the back with a grease bucket in hand. Preceded to put it down to help assist with the few orders that had just come in. Mind you this second cook is more experienced due to the fact that his hat was a different color. He didn't wash his hands but reached up to put on gloves and immediately jump on the grill. Now the grease trap is more than likely located next to the dumpster 8/10 times. Something to think about.

Lets continue. I used to work for waffle house. Protocol is that anytime you come out from the back you wash your hands, dry your hand, use the paper towel to turn the sink off, then put gloves on, and then cook. So why didn't he do that? We may never know. A lady came in and saw the same thing and said that, "thats utterly disgusting". "I just lost my appetite". Then she walked out.

Corporate you got some work to do. You got to come turn this place around. That is if you care. This location is making the Waffle House brand look bad i mean really bad. Management might need to be reconsidered as well.

This has to be the worst Waffle House I've been to, not only are they extremely slow but they also had employees not wearing masks after having a security guard standing at the door enforcing the rule. Additionally, we weren't given an ETA as to when our order would be ready and to keep walking inside to check without having some even acknowledge us. I would suggest ever coming to this establishment. This has to be worst Waffle House in ATL! I definitely wouldn't suggest coming here!

Not too fond of this location during late night hours. I came in and the cooks were playing around and joking while customers were waiting for food. Some of the employees didn't not seem to take the job serious...a joke. One of the employee's was a little disrespectful to one of the customers. And he was becoming petty and seemed to enjoy it.

I'm not from Atlanta but I would never come back to this location after hours.

Great food. Super quick service, very friendly staff. The hashbrowns how you like them.

I really hate this location, customer service is a big thing for me. Most people work hard to get the money that they earn so when it comes to me having to spend it I like to get my money's worth & feel like people are trying to give you there best. Here it seems like you are bothering them to place an order, ask for a refill or even come in the door. I avoid this one when I can.
