This place is a low life hang out. I was in town & went to meet a friend for a drink..there were some people with negative vibes hanging out outside that "worked there" & one of them came to my car as I was leaving trying to say we stole beer when they really beat the Shit out of my car & walked behind the bar & took brews as the bar tender went to the bathroom. Never visiting this establishment again & wouldn't suggest it to ANYONE in their right mind. Absolutely appalled.

Went for lunch. Great pizza, good service. A little on the shabby side! We were on the family dining side.

Look. I'm an easy guy to please. I realize that some places have an off night, and that mistakes happen...it's inevitable. Just make some effort to set it right and we'll be fine.
Wasn't to be the case here.
We arrived at 9PM to hear our friends, who were playing music. Got our seat, ordered our drinks, the server brought a menu, and in short order, took our food order. We were off to a good start.
Then the wait started. 1/2 hour. 40 minutes. 45 minutes. Our drinks were empty, and we were trying to figure out what was going on.
Finally our server came over and said "I'm so sorry...your food went to another table. We're starting on your order now".
Well, OK. It's not a big deal, but we would've felt better about it if he'd offered a drink refill, at least, but that wasn't to happen.
And we waited, And waited. 20 minutes. 30 minutes. 40 minutes. Then one of the servers came over and sat down with us, and, basically told us her life's story. She was a nice lady. I'm glad her son in Colorado is doing so well for himself and I'm glad she enjoyed her vacation. But after being there an hour and 15 minutes with no food and empty drinks, we'd rather have our meal than chit chat.
Our meal finally arrived. It was.....OK. There was a problem...part of the meal was scalding hot, but the onion rings and chicken wing I got as part of a combo platter were ice cold. They'd obviously been setting a while. A LONG while.
I'll say this. They comped our meal. We appreciate that. But we don't anticipate returning.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Tim G.Plainfield, IN31186219May 22, 2015First to Review
I gotta give this place five stars. The food was delicious. It wasn't your normal grimy pub food, it helped that it was connected with a Pizza King. And the price was right, this place is definitely a little hole in the wall, but well worth the stop-in. The prices on the drinks were just as good as the food, and Tegan the bar tender was good too. Plus a great band playing, it really just sealed off the 5-star experience! If you're around, you gotta stop in!!!

This was our first time visiting Village Station. We had stopped in tonight to listen to some live, local music. Please note - this is an establishment where smoking is permitted on the bar side. We got our drinks and placed our food order. Then we waited. And we waited. And we waited. For an hour and fifteen minutes - we waited. No one stopped by to let us know what was happening until we had been there for nearly an hour. No one ever checked on our beverages to see if they needed to be refilled. Finally, our food arrived. Our tab was comped, and the staff was profusely apologetic, but I can honestly say, that unless we are going there to support live music again, we won't be back.
