$17.86 (pesto chicken parmesan sandwich, side crispy fries with creamy ranch) Veggie Grill monologue:
On the day I went to the Veggie Grill in Santa Monica, I was excited to get some vegan food. (I'm not vegan but enjoy many vegan dishes) So, when I saw the Veggie Grill, I got happy.
I walked to the restaurant and liked that they have an outside patio. I really enjoy outdoor eating. But it was cold, so I decided to eat indoors. It was a nice sized space and clean. I ordered my food and moments later my food was served to me at the table.
The fries were delicious. The "chicken" and marina sauce was sub-par. I know the "meat" wasn't real and I talked to friends that are hard core vegans. Yeah, they don't like vegan chicken either. Anyways, I digress...I would get the fries again, just not this specific burger. My experience with this meal was a personal tastebud preference. So no shade on the establishment. Just know you'll be eating something...different.
P.S. - the music at this location was on point. I was moving my shoulders to the grooves, while chewing my food on the beat, to some hits. Can you imagine that choreography.

What a great deal I received today?! To my surprise they're having a special so come on down for a 2/1 entree special!
I ordered the Kale salad and tempeh with a "burger" to go for dinner. What a great deal and thank you to the employee who told me about it :))
Ambiance has great music playing and not very many people here probably because of the rain.
Patio dining and there is free parking in the back.

The cashier that took my order didn't start out friendly but once I inquired for their opinion on what I should get, they were very helpful.
The food was pretty good, considering it was a salad. The spice level was good, and the food was fresh.
The outdoor seating was nice since it is elevated above the sidewalk and provided really nice shade.

This vegan spot is so amazing. I'm so shocked how they can make food so similar to the actual food they are imitating! I got the mushroom veggie burger, which I love! It's so tasty, and it's very light. I don't get any food, which is a good sign. the chicken tenders are really great if you are craving extra snack! This place is very popular and it has a reason! The service here is amazing in. The ambience is great you can dine in or take out

One of the best Veggie Grills I have been to! The staff here are all totally top notch and the indoor seating area is clean, bright, and inviting. Food is excellent.
