Ty's bbq has awesome smoked wings at a very reasonable price, my favorite flavor is "sweet heat", and they never fail to impress, and fries are always crispy hot and delicious. i've haven't eaten much else off their menu in years so i can't vouch for the rest of they're bbq but if it taste as good as they're wings it should taste spectacular.

Fantastic food! The "muddy" (combo wet & dry rub) ribs were very meaty and tender. Smoked just right. Their take on the Cuban sandwich was awesome - huge sandwich with pulled pork, smoked ham and a special sauce. The pulled pork platter was also top notch. The green beans were very tasty as was the onion rings.
The service was excellent. Very friendly and helpful.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 29, 2023Updated review
Time for an update. I've been ordering the rib tip meal with 2 sides faithfully each visit with an occasional bbq sandwich thrown in or wings. My latest visit was 4/27/23, I ordered thru a 3rd party app for pick up. My order was ready in the amount of time quoted, but the food was not good this go round. Each visit the food has been hit or miss and this time it was a miss. The rib tips were mostly fat( yes I know this is a possibility), but the meat was also dry as heck and hard. The Mac and cheese was cheesy and greasy, and didn't taste as good as my previous visits, and the green beans were ok, but the meat pieces in that was dry also. The Texas sheet cake dessert was very good and moist, this was the best part of my meal.
I've noticed a consistent downward trend with the taste of food and service. As for ambiance, it's mostly frequent patrons dining in and the occasional "club" nights, but front house staff may or may not be pleasant when I pick up to go. They aren't rude, but a shift is noticed when picking up vs those eating in.
I'm disappointed in my meal this go round, the dry meat, mediocre sides and inconsistent food quality was enough for me to give them a break for awhile and search for another bbq spot in the area.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Mar 23, 2018Previous reviewI've gone back twice since my last review and I don't if something changed such as management or cooks, but it's definitely better. The rib tips are my go to and the corn is just as good. I ordered baked beans today and it was full of chopped meat, but not overwhelmed with meat. I enjoyed my visit on 3/23/18! No pics because I ate the food and forgot I was to take a pic! I do that alot lol
Sep 10, 2016Previous reviewGot the sampler platter with corn on the cob, beans, brisket, ribs, and rib tips. The corn was the best part, everything else was just ok. The rib tips were mostly fat, the brisket lacked flavor, the ribs were tender but not the best I've had. I also got the Texas sheet cake which was good. The location is easy to miss if you're not familiar with the area. Prices were about the same as any other BBQ spot. I may return to give it a second try but will try something else.

I have been waiting to try this place since August. I finally visit Ty's Smokehouse on November 10th, 2023. The first thing I noticed was the good BBQ smell. I also noticed how clean the restaurant was. I also know it was going to be a good visit with the trophy display. I decided to get the Smokehouse Burger with pulled pork. I also got fries. The burger was juicy, the pulled pork was excellent, and the coleslaw just held everything together. The fries was also alright. I decided to get a BBQ pulled pork pizza to go. The pizza was pretty good as well

Best bbq in the Bartlett area hands down. Everything from the ribs, to the chicken, bologna and even down to the sides and brisket are all fresh and divine. Go give em a try. You won't regret it

Went here for lunch the other day and thought the place was pretty good.
The ribs were good as were the rib ends. I wasn't the biggest fan of their beans which seem to have a bunch of chili powder.
The restaurant is nice and clean and the staff is friendly,Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dave M.San Francisco, CA02Nov 18, 2023
The pulled pork was OK. It tasted like a chemical smoke flavor was added to it. The cole slaw was disappointing. The beans were OK.
The young man who took my order was polite but was talking to his mgr. and used a couple of cuss words to describe his philosophical view of life. SMH.
I won't be going back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bob T.Sanibel, FL06Sep 10, 2023
