Tyroni's Pizza Cafe has been serving up authentic Italian food for years. The legacy began when Tyler Barnes started working at a place called Terry's while he was in college. He wanted to own his own restaurant, and so he worked his way up to a manager and then bought the joint in 1986. With a name change in 1995, Tyroni's Pizza Cafe was born. For over 30 years Tyroni's has been serving amazing pizza and authentic Italian dishes to the greater Peoria and Bartonville areas. In addition to its cozy dining room, Tyroni's offers a pizza buffet and delivery. - two options that can make a meal delicious and convenient!

nj w.IL, IL021May 28, 2022This is the type of restaurant that belongs on Ramsey's kitchen nightmares anything that could go wrong went extremely wrong on our visit. Complete with a manager who threw their staff under the bus when under fire. Will not be back!

Great food - great people - Great service - hot and fresh and in perfect timing. This place beats all other pizza joints.

Pros
No wait for a table
Solid variety of pizza, salad bar fixings, and other stuff (cinnamon bites were great dessert).
Cons
Service. Waitresses were non-existent, instead standing around chatting about a group coming in (even though they didnt know how many people or when), what they had done all day and were doing tonight, and some town gossip. (I heard this as they were at the entrance to the kitchen which was close-ish to my table.)
Food. The pizza was blah. Not a lot of flavor and not warm/hot. Even though there were about 10 people eating they had a hard time keeping up, even though there were multiple people making pizzas.
Price. Price was $26 for two buffets and when the pizza isn't warm and service terrible, NOT worth it.

We ate here for the first time in many years as we live in a different city. We ordered original crust pizza and it was absolutely delicious. I love a crisp crust and this was perfect. We also had a great server. We will definitely be back!!

Service is horrible. The place is empty and we saw the waitress 3 times in the hour and a half we were there. Spent 50 minutes waiting for lasagna and spaghetti. Waited another 20 minutes for the bill to arrive. Food was meh.
