Don't recommend this place to anyone!

They have several cock roaches crawling in the restroom
Smoothies are always watery.
They give you like 5 sweet potatoes as a side what a joke
Manager does not know how to talk to the customers and likes to get over on customers.

This morning I was motivated to healthy foods, so I stopped in for a banana peanut butter flatbread and smoothie. Still, I was immediately overwhelmed when the young lady handled the register, money, and receipts. Then immediately started making the smoothie, but I managed to stop her because I was completely turned off. She stopped and said she would wash her hands, but the damage was already done, and I'd seen too much. I wouldn't be able to eat anything from her because I know she doesn't wash her hands or wear gloves. It's a mental or psychological level of cleanliness for me. I told her no and just to refund my money because I couldn't swallow this pill she was trying to give me.
The guy making the flatbread was strictly behind the cook station and put on gloves, I didn't have an issue with that, and I felt safe with him making the food. It seems as though he was taking caution and care of handling food someone would eat.
Is it an unconsunconscious behavior to NOT wash hands and manage the register to food? That it's just normal to everyone but me?! I'm confused. To have retail and restaurants mishandle food so openly is it that retail business is odd to me. Has everyone thrown all guidelines out the window during the pandemic?
Hand washing and wearing gloves from behind the counter to touching foods or items that will be ingested are guidelines within the Food & Drug Administration code and for the sustainability of cleanliness and food safety. Significant germs are continuously spreading, and they still don't know why not have cures, but washing hands can be a preventative method. I also wish I could give zero stars for this location. It used to be good here. Not sure what has happened. Two weeks ago I had ordered online for pickup at 12:36 (this was their time promised). I walk out of the store with product at 12:56. My wraps were sitting there ready. But not my smoothies. They had just one person doing smoothies. Wasn't happy that my sandwiches sat out for a long time while waiting on smoothies.
Today was worse. There was a dead bird right outside the door. I should have walked away then. My smoothie was only 80 percent full. Plus the cup was damaged at the top. They just stared at me when I pointed it out. So one girl instructs the other to pour the smoothie in another cup. Thanks, but that doesn't solve the problem of being 20 percent short in my cup. They finally offered a remake, but stated they were out of Splenda. I took my drink and told them I wouldn't ever come back.
I arrive at home at least looking forward to my chicken bacon ranch flatbread. But when I open it up, I found bananas and mush inside the flatbread. The ticket had chicken bacon ranch taped to the flatbread. How did this get messed up?
I contacted their corporate number and filed a complaint. Then I called this location to request a refund. The girl answers "Hello" instead of the business name. When I asked for the manager, she answered "Hello" also. How professional!!!

I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe but I just stopped at this location on a Sunday (just now around 530pm) and stood at the counter with my husband for over 5 minutes without even being acknowledged. No "hi, we'll be right with you" or even a "hello" for that matter. There was no one else in line. NO ONE. There were 3 people inside waiting for their orders. 2 of the 3 were given their orders. The worker had to walk past us to give them their food and AGAIN... It was like we were transparent. So needless to say we left. No they didn't try to stop us or say anything. I'll never come back to this location. I'll drive up to Chastain if it means good customer service. Bad customer service is UNEXCUSABLE.

Order food from app. Driver left food at restaurant. App has no way to contact anyone for a refund. Called store and manager will not be back for several days. So no food, no refund, no real customer service. Best I could do was leave my number so manager Lauren might call me back in a few days. Avoid.

Very nice staff! Quick to make my order. Highly recommend the Avocolada. Even though I didn't get one today I usually get the jerk chicken wrap, which I love!

I can't speak for all of their smoothies or food items, but the Sunrise Sunset smoothie is freakin' DELICIOUS! I just recently discovered it within the past month or so and have already gone back several times for the same smoothie- it's consistently delicious each time! My boyfriend really likes the Bahama Mama, however, it's a little too sweet for my taste- to each their own! The employees are always super friendly and pleasant. Will definitely be back!

I needed a quick breakfast today! Finally got to try this location near the hospital. Very clean atmosphere..real chill vibes. We were greeted with a hello how can I help you ,right away. She even asked us did we have questions about the menu. We are actually regulars so we already knew what we wanted. Everything was made perfectly and the customer service was on point at this location.

I like the smoothies here, but very surprised to find out they ADD SUGAR to almost every smoothie, except a few, which to me that should be labelled on the menu (supposedly it is but in the small print).
The smoothies are great and of course you can order without sugar.

I've only gone here a couple of times, but I must say I love this place. The smoothies are amazing with fresh fruit that is full of flavor! I ordered a smoothie with kale, spinach, peaches, strawberries, and pineapples and when I was done I wanted to go back for another one even though their smoothies are nice size portions. Their prices are reasonable as well (the most expensive smoothies are $5.29). I downloaded the app so I can receive specials and other little perks. I'm definitely going to be a regular customer!
