      Only stay here as a last resort if there's no other hotels to stay lol! Starts with check in by an unfriendly person who barely speaks English. Check in area looked like a storage room. Flooring in the room between toilet and sink area had big gap between boards. The smell in the rooms was like a musty odor mixed with cleaning chemicals. Don't recommend this hotel.

      It was a good value for the price in Fortuna. Close to good and gas. A bit noisy at night but what do you expect for a room under $100

      Love this little place. we checked in last minute on 4th of july, found a price online and they honored the price when we got there. room was very clean, no funky smell!! the toilet was also very clean, i'm ocd for cleanliness so i have to mention even the tile grout in the bathroom was also clean!! and the shower head pressure was amazing!! a little low shower head for my boyfriend who is tall but no biggie. has a mini fridge and micro which was handy. parking was convenient for loading / unloading. definitely enjoyed our over night stay!

      Nahhh.. not worth it! Plus they overcharge and charge for no reason. DON'T DO IT!!! find another spot.

      If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Terrible, no good, very bad is not just the beginning of a book title. Horrible service, 0/10, would not recommend.

      My parents decided to take a trip to the coast and found this place on Booking.com. Booking.com states that pets are allowed on request for a fee. When she to to the motel the owner "yelled" at her for bringing a dog. Mind you the dog was still in the car and nothing had been done yet. Why yell, for what reason do you yell at a customer for something that never happened. After seeing what the place actually looked like they called another motel and were happily accepted for an additional $10.

      There is no reason worth staying in this place, the owners are rude, the place is old, run down and stinks, yet the owners charge the price of a Holiday Inn Express room.

      Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here. Sleeping in your car would be much better than this. No idiots yelling at you, no horrible smells and you save $100

      This place is a rip off, the rooms are filthy and smell. The AC is a fan nailed to the wall and the entire property is filthy. We were charged $403 for 1 room, 2 beds 2 nights. The clerk in the office was rude and there was no internet.

      ....My husband and I broke down on Highway 36 and had our car towed to shop in Fortuna. We aren't from the area so the kind tow truck driver offered to drop us off at a motel. Well... There we were, lost, alone in a strange town around 10 at night with the internet and the tow truck driver saying this room would be "$60, $70 at most". Mind you this was a WEDNESDAY NIGHT. Not a Friday, not a Saturday... Wednesday night. ...So when the lady told me the room would be $99.99 as I'm staring at a huge sign that says "NO REFUNDS" I felt a little sick but we didn't have a choice. Should I argue or haggle and possibly end up without a room for the night? I reluctantly handed her my card.

      We got to our room that smelled like a stale musty ash tray. She didn't ask smoking or non... Had I known the room would smell like that I would have opted for nonsmoking. In our room was honestly the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on in my life. I like to go camping, I sleep on the ground. The ground has nothing on this bed.. The room looked absolutely nothing like any of the brochures we saw featuring it's 'rooms' along the coast on the rest of our trip. It was the typical garage sale 80's framed floral prints. The same print twice, actually. A small minifridge that made rattling sounds all night for our entire stay, an old box tv set and PLASTIC YARD FURNITURE. Yes. PLASTIC YARD FURNITURE in the room I payed $100 for to spend 10 hours in. That really annoyed the hell out of me to be honest. I was already having a bad day. I told the lady I was having a bad day and I felt screwed. The bed as I said was not comfortable nor was it clean. The heater stank.

      The one positive thing I can think to say about the place was the bathroom was surprisingly clean. I was shocked to be honest. What's it say though about your establishment when the only nice thing about it is someone cleaned the toilet?

      Stayed one night in September, 2017. First motel off the freeway; should have kept going. $89 for a very uncomfortable bed. When I went to the office the next morning to tell them that the microwave didn't work, the door was locked! No breakfast, no coffee, no body to report to. Way, way too much money for so little.

      Showed up to a woman that acted as if I was inconveniencing her by staying at their motel. After getting our key we went to our room and realized it was only one queen (our reservation clearly said 2 queen beds). I went back to the front desk and showed the women the reservation details on my phone. She said the reservation was for one or two beds. I asked her to show me where it said anything other than 2 beds on my reservation, and she just shrugged her shoulders after arguing for 30 minutes with her about how she needed to honor what it said on my reservation her daughter showed up. Her daughter took one look at the reservation and told me I was right and then yelled at her mom in another language. Awful service.
