Tino's Tamale and More

They have horchatas and that's what sealed the deal for me. I ordered through Grubhub so I've never been to the actual store. I got a carne asada plate and a tamale. The tamale was good and had a small kick to it, which is good since I ordered a hot one. The carne had a good gravy on it and it wasn't over cooked. The beans and rice were good, which is a bonus in my book. I'll update if I ever hit the actual establishment.

Music was so loud couldn't hear the waitress. Not authentic. Salsa was spoiled. Only hot sauce was red hot. Guacamole large was a bowl half filled with lettuce. Menudo ok. Taco sub par. Would not return. Service was not good.

We ordered tamales for our family's Christmas get-together. Ordering was easy and staff was great. The tamales were amazing! Tasty, just the right size. Our family loved them! We definitely will order from Tino's again!

Yay! Finally found a Mexican place relatively close to home that has true authentic Mexican food like they claim. I had the carnitas dinner and the pork was so flavorful and tender one of the very best I've had. My daughter had tamales rice and beans. She loved the tamale! My friend had the chicken chimi and was, what seemed to me, mesmerized. I dont think I've ever heard her be quiet for that long. Lol! The prices were very low, surprisingly low. Can't wait to take my husband.

I'm sorry but this place was not as great as the reviews say for starters the service was very poor and slow being said the waitress was really rude and to put a sign on the table to tip that is really discourteous to the customer. I would have expected the food to be at least good but was not flavorful and very greasy. Way too much salt with no other flavorings to taste also the food presentation was very bad like slopped together. All in all I won't return or recommend to my worst enemy.

I stopped by here for dinner to go and ordered a dozen tamales and carne asada fries. Good price and good food, just wish the tamales were bigger. I grew up in San Diego, CA and this was as close to tamales from home that I have found since leaving. Carne asada fries were great!!! Huge portion and the taste was so delicious!! Also their guacamole was on point! So good!

The food was nothing special. The signs for tipping on every table is a bit desperate. Live and learn.

The pic is is 8.99 chips and guac. It was like 3/4 c guac and 25 chips. They also missed 3 tamales. I called. They blamed grub hub for the small guac and chips even though it is also on their normal menu. They told me to stop in for the missed tamales. My daughter ordered a plain hamburger plain. It came as shaved beef with Chiles on a bun. Never will go back.

After reading good reviews we stopped for a quick dinner. We both ordered tamales (wet) after some waiting to get served. I normally wouldn't comment on this but at the time they were not busy, just one other table occupied. The food all tasted good but the tamales were cold. We were really disappointed as the place was not your typical Americanized Mexican restaurant and the kind we look for. We hope they start taking care of their service and food prep.

Stopped in for lunch, had the Spicy Pork Tamale dinner. While tamales may be smaller for some they are filling and along with beans and rice really good. One suprise was we received soup before our meal instead of chips and salsa. The soup was also very good. Will be back.
