Unfortunately this pub isn't the easiest to get to, if you are reliant upon public transport, like I tend to be when I am wandering around Sydney. However, it does happen to be on a major road so I guess that is a good thing. The pub itself is actually not bad, and has had a complete makeover. It really isn't one of my favourites though, however they do have a good beer selection, though not necessarily one that is all that outstanding. If was worth the effort getting here, but not one that I would make a regular trip to.

Lunch menu had plenty of choices. We ordered the Garlic bread $5 the bread was a bit doughy and thick 3/10. We chose 2 starters and a Greek Salad with Persian feta $20. The presentation of the salad was excellent but doubtful that the feta was Persian so the price not really justified. More olive oil less vinegar needed to make the dressing tastier 7/10.
The surprise was the Lamb Kofta , labna, pomegranate $16. Very tasty and ample, the 5 kofta would feed 2 easily 9/10.
We also had the Salt Pepper Squid fairly ordinary for $20. Needed more crunch 6/10. Overall we will most likely be back to taste some of the other dishesHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jack S.Sydney, Australia142113Jan 19, 2019
Is pubs nickname is David Jones overpriced overcrowded and Swank. I've enjoyed a few meals there and they were quite good. But the drinks are expensive and it's quite loud with a lot of patrons.

Came to the prince tonight for Valentine's Day dinner with my partner and baby who is in a high chair, we were seated on bar stools and my sons high chair came up to my hip so naturally he was unsettled the whole time, whilst there was booths across from us with a party of 2 taking a 6 seater up? .. dinner was actually atrocious and OVER PRICED. We ordered halloumi chips as a starter and they were rubbery and overcooked, we returned them so they could be cooked better and they came back, still rubbery but with a crispier outside. For mains I had garlic prawn spaghetti and there was no garlic in it, the pasta wasn't cooked properly. My partner had barramundi and that was rubbery and overcooked and it came with some sort of vegetable concoction that should have been served with lamb shanks??? So confused. Despite that, the atmosphere is good, staff are friendly and they have great cocktails. But definitely won't be going there for another meal
