The Placery

This is a small open air bar with food service at an airport Hyatt hotel.
The hotel has shuttle service
The hotel is quality for the budget

The critique is for the bar/food

The bartenders mostly talked amongst themselves
4 of them.
2 were extroverted occasionally but I had to go out of my way to get their attention for an empty beer glass.

The mediocre first. ( to end on a high note )
The food: my salmon came with friends fries. Mediocre piece and portion size.
What chef pairs the most healthy thing on the menu with the least. Had I noticed that. I would've asked for a substitution.

Small salad.....Denny's quality. Healthy but boring. No pepper shakers on the bar to spice it up.

My main barkeep seemed pretty brain dead and I interested in life
The others helped me out. But I had to ask. No proactive glass filler here!

Salmon piece small. Charge me more and give me a bigger piece please.

It was too cold for me. And I live in Alaska.

Salmon cooked perfectly.
Descent local brews on tap
Good , no!! very good! crab cake.

Quiet sports tv's

Mostly I'm glad a budget bar has TV's and the option of salmon and crab cakes. And coldish (could be colder ) beer.

This place could be 5 stars with a better organized Put together munu and engaged employees.
But with the younger generation not wanting to engage. I'm sure it's hard to find engaged Caring help.
