Dreamy for kids and apparently adults too (not me). You can find pretty much every type of superhero and big time action movie, including Harry Potter. That's a win for me! The price point is on the higher end for most sets. This is more of a splurge or a gift. Not your average Target lego sets.
Everyone working here is super busy. It's like the Apple Store for building blocks. Professional yet exciting.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Wendy R.San Diego, CA16771Apr 3, 2024
I have been to this Lego Store many times, but today was special. I am a Make A Wish, volunteer wish granter and today we took a wish kid as part of a shopping spree. This was the first store that our Wish Kid got to visit and this store brought the spirit!! They welcomed our kid with smiling faces and lots of bonus items. Declan helped our kid out with lots of Lego possibilities and Jesus really stood out as one of the most awesome people. He went above and beyond and got balloons as well as other enhancements for our wish kid. The entire staff was attentive and fantastic. The store of course is well stocked with favorite Lego sets as well as other, harder to find sets. The store is clean and nice to spend time in. THANK YOU for supporting Make a Wish Lego Store!!

It was my adventure time at Lego store.
Lego store gives VIP card for regular customers to earn reward points.
The store keeps limited number of customers inside to guarantee you have a nice experience while you shop. That is the reason behind the long line outside the store. They have many marvelous set of lego; for example there is a new collection of flowers, cars, Titanic, Eiffel Tower, and the one I really loved was the Grand Piano, in addition to Disney's collection, Harry Potter's and more.
The employees are very attentive and friendly.
The store is very neat. It has been always a great and relaxing experience at this Lego store.Helpful 22Thanks 0Love this 17Oh no 0Apr 19, 2022Previous reviewI love the Lego store. It is one favorite destination when I visit San Diego specifically Fashion Valley Mall.
The location is so cool, just next to the food court.
The store itself is so clean, organized and has all what you are looking for including miniature Lego.
I love their Disney collection and Harry Potter collection.
Also, star war collection. But honestly, if you are a fan of Lego, you will be fond of everything else.
The employees are so helpful and courteous.
It is such a great store! - May 20, 2023
As soon as I came inside, two women greeted me with a smile! This store has the most awesome Lego sets you can build...of all different themes. Star Wars, owls, dinosaurs, Mario, cars, girly sets, everything! The store is wheelchair accessible, however, it is on the second level of the mall, which is under construction. Not all the elevators and escalators work, so that's unreliable. The store is directly next to the food court, and the restrooms are on the other side of the food court (between the restaurants Sbarro and Blanco).

As an adult but a kid in spirit the Lego Store is always a fun time. Arrived on a Sunday for an unplanned visit and there was a line to keep the store customer density under control. COVID aside and social distancing aside, I actually appreciate this as an adult in the Lego store since with a set amount of customers it is often less hectic and it makes the experience more enjoyable.
Also the customer service was top notch. The employee who helped me was energetic, informative and it obviously did their job wonderfully since before I realized it I had walked out with three sets, and a newly minted member of the VIP club. Sigh, time to start signing checks directly to Lego!Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - 11315273Feb 3, 2022
Came here on a Saturday afternoon with the husband and kidlet. There was a short line to get in as they are limiting store capacity due to COVID. Went inside and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Kidlet picked out the creator aquarium. Husband was eyeing the Everyone is Awesome set but did not pull the trigger.
My husband wanted to buy the motorcycle set for his dad and mail it to him. The set is $12 and it would cost alsmot that to mail it so I looked at it on lego's site and shipping is only $4.95 so I said "Let's just order it from lego." One of the staff overheard us and offered a free shipping coupon! It was so nice and unexpected.
After a trip to a few more stores my husband went back for his Everyone is awesome set.
Overall a great experience, will stop in here next time at the mall.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - 1905491074Oct 2, 2019Updated review
Lego are the best toys!! I popped in today to see what was new. The same fantastic employees are still there :) Which says a lot for retail. The store was clean, even though there were a ton of short people in it.
I love how up to date they keep the back brick walls today they had new pieces focused on building buildings and bridges.
I saw they had some sales on some items I wanted. So, I may have started some early Christmas shopping. The staff, greeted me when I came in, they made sure I found everything. Check out was a breeze!!
And really, LEGOs are a great gift for anyone at any age! They help develop creativity. This staff today was super!! :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 22, 2019Previous reviewWe went in tonight to browse and see what was new. The staff was efficient at juggling the youngsters in the store, keeping it clean, answering question and checking people out.
I thought they did a fantastic job! One of the huge draw for me, continues to be the piece wall in the back. Right now they have some new pieces, that are garden based, super cool!!
One of the highlights of the visit is when the employee brought out one of the built sets, the crane. She demonstrated how it would work. Pointed out the highlights of the build. The man in his mid-50s turned into a 5year old right in front of me.
LEGOs are a great toy for kids. They encourage self expression, creativity, as well as math, physics and a good game of hide and seek.
Each one of the members in my group bought something here today. And we would each recommend this store to a friend, based on today's experience.
Happy building!!Mar 23, 2019Previous reviewSo. I have to go from five stars to one star... and it's based on customer service of the manager.
On my initial visit, the staff got me signed up with the LEGO VIP card. I bought about $50 worth of LEGO's, all single bricks. There was a deal, spend $45 get a free something or other. Well, the gal forgot to give it to me.
I go in to the store a week later, with the receipt. The clerk on duty (who was also super nice and wants to do the right thing) calls her manager, who says no. Because he can't figure out how to make it work in the computer. Yup. The computer.
I would expect that from say a 17yr old at Mc Donald's. I would not expect that from a Store Manager, who should have customer set at the forefront of their mindset.
I did spend abt $17 in the store. However, if the store manager is setting that tone, I will be spending my LEGO allowance elsewhere (like amazon, legoland or the UTC store). And I have a nice LEGO allowable to spend.Mar 15, 2019Previous reviewI stopped by this store to get some pieces for a project. As I picked out about 1500 pieces from the back wall, I had opportunity to witness the staff working. I can say without hesitation, they have amazing patience, are supremely professional and keep the store spotless.
If I had a question, they were quick to answer it. From the conversations I overheard, they were both striving to continue their own LEGO education. Which I was really impressed with, because as it was, there was not one question that anyone stumped them with.
No matter how many families, with excited running kids came in, and looked at toys and dropped displays, the store was immaculate and the two ladies working where charming.
I can't say enough nice things about them. They even got me that vip card thing, which is free to join. But now I feel extra special giving them my money.
LEGOs are a great toy that stimulates the brain for young and old. And this store is fantastic! - Sam D.La Mesa, CA0164Sep 9, 2022Updated review
Clean, and fun atmosphere with great employees. Children and AFOLs alike will rejoice in this location.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 19, 2022Previous reviewMy previous experience was less than stellar. I came in 20 mins before close to buy the modular police station which is represented as being available on lego.com at this exact location. I asked if maybe they had one in the back as I saw none of display for sale. Her response was both rude and unhelpful, I left there thinking I need a new hobby.
Aug 19, 2021Previous reviewBrad, Mitch, and Eric were amazing! All of them were both super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Wonderful staff, and great products. I'll most definitely be right back! ;)

Our children have become expert extortionists. I had set up a playdate for the kids with a neighbor. Unfortunately, the neighbor kid couldn't come over at the last minute, and my children were so disappointed - nearly on the verge of tears - that I resorted to: "Hey, guys! No problem! I've got a surprise for you. We're gonna go to the Lego Store! Tilly, Harry Potter for you, and Elise, we'll get you a Spider-Man set."
Of course, they each chose the very largest sets available, with, you know, 8,439 pieces each.
Now, every time either of them experiences the barest of disappointments (e.g., the filet mignon wasn't grilled to perfection, the unicorn stuffed animal doesn't actually come alive and spirit them to fairyland, they're not allowed at ages 5 and 8 to drive the Porsche, etc., etc.) they immediately say, "Well, can we go to the Lego Store now?"
The good news is that every time we head over there, the associates at the store make the outing into an absolute pleasure. They're as excited and enthusiastic about legos as the kids. I can't imagine how they are willing to patiently sit and listen to my children's tortuous explanations of Hermione's spell casting abilities and the dastardliness of Spider-Man's nemesis, Mysterio. It's always a fun time... at least for the kids.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
