I'm not gonna lie...if you like a cute Instagram pic and descent food then this the place. It's one of those places you went to cause you seen somebody from college post a picture of them there with the fried chicken. Now the one thing they really got going fa them is the biscuits. Them bihs are hitting no lie. I done had them real from scratch biscuits and theses are the closest thing I ever had. The fried chicken is a little too hard for me. It's too breaded, not my style. Again, very beautiful spot, great location...but average for what's in the area. Kinda pricey, but you pay for the vibe. I usually take my friends from out of town here... a fake tourist spot for me.

Had dinner here on a Sunday evening. Was pretty large on the inside, we were seated immediately and I got a cocktail while my guest had some wine.

We started with the scallion chipotle cornbread which was good cornbread but definitely didnt have any chipotle flavor and only slight scallion. I got the filet and my guest got the salmon, both were really good and we shared a side of fries that I literally could not stop eating. Would definitely be back when in the area.

      1 check-in

In the heart of Soho, this adorable restaurant serves American cuisine and oysters, and very kids friendly. I had the Bloody Mary oysters for $12 that came with 2 small oysters which was quite unsatisfying. Fried chicken was yummy.

Great service! Nice and responsive staff. No complaints.

I liked the ambiance. Good for date night or family dinner.

Solid food but pretty high prices that I'm not sure I would pay again. We started with the crab deviled eggs ($18 for a half dozen) and scallion-chipotle cornbread ($9). The deviled eggs were excellent- they had generous portions of crab and were each topped with a sliced jalapeño that added a nice little kick of heat. The cornbread was also good, although the scallion and chipotle flavors were pretty mild, and the portion was very small. It came with a fluffy salted butter that was excellent. It would've been nice if it had come out warm so that the butter could melt on top, and it was a little odd that it was served in a skillet but wasn't cooked in one (it was a small loaf).

Our mains were the Southern style eggs benedict ($31) and the breakfast sandwich ($25). Honestly, part of my order was curiosity as I've never seen a breakfast sandwich that expensive. However, I have to say it was worth it- it's a generous size (the sausage patty on its own is large) and very flavorful. It came on a honey butter biscuit and was so tall that it was pretty hard to eat, but I really enjoyed it. The only thing that would've made it perfect was a jam, jelly, or sauce as the sandwich was a bit dry on the biscuit. It also came with a side of potatoes that wasn't listed on the menu (nice surprise!), which were drizzled with aioli and topped with Parmesan. The eggs benedict were good, but came with one slice of country ham- this isn't a pricey meat and it kind of felt like a little more should've been included.

We also ordered mimosas, which weren't on the menu- we didn't ask but were pretty surprised to see on the check that they were $18 each. It's in line with the rest of the cocktails on the menu but more than I've ever paid for a mimosa at brunch, and the orange juice was not fresh squeezed (which I don't usually mind, but think it probably should be for that price).

We sat outside in their streatery, which was really cute and comfortable. Service was a bit spotty, we had a very hard time finding our waiter after we put our orders in.

I recently enjoyed a delicious visit to The Dutch in SoHo. Their enormous plate of skinny fries were crispy and addictive, perfect for sharing. And the strawberry rhubarb pie? Sweet and tangy perfection in every bite. With friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere, The Dutch is a must-visit for a tasty brunch in soho.

      Sunday brunch paat 2pm.
Staff is friendly and super accommodating with our stroller (kid was sleeping in it)
Good aervice and food came pretty fast
We had deviled eggs, eggplant dip, burger and eggs benedict
Eggs were pretty good! Very soft
The dip was okay, the crackers had too much seasoning
Husband liked the burger and fries were perfectly cooked, super crunchy!
Now, eggs benny were a bit too much. First, overpriced for just the two eggs, no side, nothing. The sauce had a too strong flavor that pretty much ate away the rest of the dish, ham not noticeable. You could only taste the sauce which also had too much black pepper (and I am a peppercorn lover) and it was salty. Def do not get this one.
      Place and ambiance super cute.

Service was great. Our guys took care of us, when I told him my pancakes were cold he gave us another order without hesitation.
Food was delicious the nightly recommend the Lobster Frittata, only thing I would suggest is not too much sauce. Other than that was delicious!
The honey butter biscuits are too good. You don't need anything with it, but of course I still put butter and jam... cuz I'm me...lol.
My friend had the chicken and he said it was well seasoned.
My other friend had the burger. She asked for it to be medium and they brought it out well done... ‍ She said it probably would have been good if it wasn't overcooked.
Loved that they had coat/hat racks near your table as well. Very nice and clean place.

*Getting the Flapjacks is a must!!!
I preferred it without the blueberries with just syrup, my friend loved it with the blueberries. Whatever your preference is, but get it!

We came here for a prefix thanksgiving dinner and it was packed.

After waiting for about 15 minutes, we were then led to the dining room at the back of the house, which was definitely better in my opinion.
The service while we waited by the bar was lacking, but this changed once we were sat.

Our table was so cozy, by the fireplace, probably the best seat in the house.
Ryan our server was on top of business, making sure we had everything we needed.

Dishes were scrumptious and the portions were large! I mean it's thanksgiving right? This we really appreciated.

We started off with the turkey wings and oysters. the wings were delicious, and well made, I just wish it had a punch of spicy in it, however it was still juicy. The portions were so big, we were already getting full before the mains appeared.

Big shout out to the Chef Jonathan, and our server Ryan we had an awesome time

I visited Dutch around 12:30pm on a Wednesday, and there was a lot of seating during lunchtime. I enjoyed the Mushroom Risotto as it was my first time having it. I was also a fan of the cornbread. Even though it has jalapeno, it was not spicy and had the right crumbliness that cornbread usually had. It is a bit overpriced for what they offer.

Love the ambiance of this place, I think it's a great resutrant to come for drinks. The service was good, our waitress was really nice. the first time I came here their famous fried chicken was so good. Came back last night and it wasn't as breathtaking but still pretty good. I ordered the hanger steak which I didn't love. It wasn't bad, just not my favorite. I love kimchi but I didn't like the combination of it with the seasoning of the hanger steak.
We tried the crab deviled eggs which were definetly interesting. I probably wouldn't get them again but they weren't bad!

      Great location too

We had a suboptimal experience at The Dutch tonight redeemed by our dessert course.

We arrived at 6:45 for a 7 pm reservation and were seated right away. The evening started off well right away with delicious appetizers- a waldolf salad and a spicy watermelon salad.

Unfortuantely it took 50 minutes from when we received our appetizers to get our entrees.
After we received our entrees, the waiter disappeared again. Leaving us to stare at our plates for 20 minutes. We did ask to speak to a rather ambivalent manager.

For $60 per person restaurant week meals, I woild go elsewhere! Or stick with appetizers and leave.

Burger and salmon entrees were underwhelming. I feel sad for the yelp reviewer who called this the best burger he's had in NYC. Expand your horizons lol

Lets see if the dessert course will be a redemption or defeat!

Okay the dessert course was *really* good

Everyone at our table had a different favorite. Dad's favorite was the sour cherry pie
My sister's favorite was the chocolate pudding pie and my favorite was the coconut cake! Mom couldn't choose between the chocolate pudding pie and the coconut cake
