The Cheesesteak Shop

My husband and I recently visited The Cheese Steak Shop, and we were delighted with our choices. I opted for the Philly Joe, and it was an absolute delight! The combination of steak, onions, peppers, and cheese was a taste sensation that left me craving more.

My husband tried the Pizza Steak, and he couldn't stop raving about it. The service was efficient, and the staff was friendly, adding to the overall positive experience.

We got the $25 gift card deal and already planning our next visit to explore more of their menu!

I love their peppers: sweet, tangy, and spicy. The Cheese Steaks Shop belts out consistently good Philly sandwiches. If I can recall my Philly sandwich tour back east, I would say The Cheese Steak Shop resembles the venerable sandwich the best here in the west, sans the 'whiz.

I order their Classic Philly, with curly fries. As mentioned, their peppers really makes the sandwich better. The meat is moist and tender although I wish the season it just a tad. Food comes comes quick which is great for lunch breaks.

Worst cheesesteak I've ever had in my life...the cheese wasn't even melted...it was also white American slices (plastic cheese), steak was dry with no flavor, the bread was 2/5. It wasn't even greasy :(

Only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because of the service - the gentleman was super friendly and helpful.
Wish I wasn't so disappointed....I'm from the South Bay and honestly I'm die hard Amato's fan. Also Jake's pizzeria has FIRE cheesesteaks.

Another random craving caused us to door dash even though I was ready to cook dinner. Haha.
Grew up eating at the concord location, this location served up the same.
We split the king Philly and steak fries. Hit the spot!
It is crazy to me that extra peppers costs more.
It may make me sound old, but back in my day, extra peppers were free.
Still, a legit cheesesteak.

Ok this place is bomb! lol I had legit Cheesesteak in Philadelphia when I visited last year and tried out Pat's and Geno's and ended up loving it. My cousin is originally from Philly, and I made him get Cheesesteaks with me since I was craving it. I was a bit skeptical due to the mediocre star rating but we decided to try it out anyway since it was in my area, and I'm sure glad we did!

I got a half order of the Classic Philly Cheesesteak and asked for it with Cheddar Cheese Sauce and it was fantastic! The curly fries were delicious too! We were both pleased with our meal and I'll for sure return next time I'm in the mood for a cheesesteak!

My favorite order is the King of Philly cheesesteak and a side of curly fries.

Give this place a try whether you've never had a cheesesteak or if you are an old school east coast die hard you will love it.

We ordered food tonight - one of which being a King cheesesteak. That's a large with extra meat and cheese, by the way.

We got the sandwich, no King wrapper (or King sticker), smaller bread, and less filling. When questioned, we were told there were no wrappers(stickers?), the bread was changed, and "that was double meat and cheese". We've been to this location over 20 times and some other locations even more so we know what the portions are supposed to be.

It's crazy how all these supplies were missing or wrong all on the same order at the same time, huh? So either the order was made incorrectly and covered up for some reason or the store is giving less while continuously raising prices. Neither of these are appropriate outcomes. I sure am glad I prepaid for the entire order before showing up to the store.

Does that picture look like it's a $15 cheesesteak?

[edit - Why does every company on Yelp respond with the same generic response to every non-favorable review? Imagine if the company rep responding ACTUALLY read the issue instead of auto-replying with boilerplate.

Also, rep's name is "Cheese S."? Give me a break.

You know cheese steaks are great greasy great I do this once or maybe twice a year. I think that's all your body is allowed anymore you are asking for trouble man they are good eating nothing beats a good greasy cheese steak sandwich and you have to get a order of their steak fries that's another must get the two go together. Please do try it if you loves old fashioned cheese steak sandwich it won't disappoint you I don't have pictures because you want to eat it hot

Food was ok. Service was ok There is no table service.

Dropped one star because when I went to pay, the machine forced me to leave a minimum tip. There was NO option for OTHER or zero. Worst thing is, I couldn't proceed to pay without leaving the minimum (10 or 15%).

This is a takeout counter. By choice, I usually leave something in the tip jar for takeout. However, I am sick of these places that FORCE you to tip a minimum amount regardless of level of service.

With the mandatory tip, the value of this meal ended up being rather low. I won't be back.

A good new addition to the monument plaza shopping center.

This cheesesteak shop location has been here only a few months but a nice addition to this shopping plaza that was lacking some new diverse places.

Ordered the regular steak cheesesteak with hot peppers and grilled onions. Overall a good cheesesteak. For me was the perfect amount of hot pepper in each bite but needed more onion. Just a personal preference as I love onions.

Will be back to try more!
