I can imagine the beef of those with beef with this place (that sounds like a lot of beefs and withs, probably completely grammatically incorrect). When i was here, the server-bro wasn't engaging and was straight out of central casting for "High School football douche who gets the ladies in High School but goes bald at 22 and gains 73 pounds of 'life'". He wasn't bald. And he wasn't much older than 30, but still. He was amiable, though not very engaging. Instead of a "Hey man. What's up. What I can I get you?", I was greeted with a "Hey". Literally. That was it. If you're looking for some Christmas feel good story here, you opened the wrong book. This is a John Grisham law-and-order deal (yes, I know JG is more engaging, but he's no Carl Hiaasen). Be that as it may, I will continue.

Aside from the impersonal supposed interpersonal disposition that is requisite in a bar tender, the place was awesome. Plenty of beers on draft, none of which were rarities, but all decent. I LOVE the fact that I can look through the cooler and get a canned beer and have in house. Bonus: prices are on every bottle. That is a must and an upgrade.

I had no problems here because I am mostly self sufficient. Newbies prolly need to beware.

This is all you need to know.

Love, Love, Loved the Casual Pint! This was by far one of the best beer places we went to during out visit to the south. The service was great and was definitely one of the most knowledgeable that we encountered on the trip. My husband and I both had a flight of beers and we loved pretty much everything we tried. The tap selection was just right, quality beers and something for everyone. The selection of beers by the bottle/can was also great. Tons of great breweries and beers to choose from. Many are sold in single bottles/cans so that you can try more. We ended up taking a bunch back with us so we could continue to enjoy good beer.

Maybe a three for beer, sat at the bar, half hour until closing. Three friends of bartender are in conversation with him, the only people at the bar. He continues casual conversation, doesn't acknowledge me, goes to tap the register, empties the glasses from the dishwasher THEN comes to me and states he's only serving beer for the next 30 minutes. Then goes back to his friends.

I asked about two beers. All he could say about the blonde was its popular and easy drinking. It's a beer bar, come on. But then he really seemed to want to get back to his friends and close up.

Such a relaxed and chill engery with quick and friendly service. I love all the game options to play while hanging out. And they allow you to get outside food delivered. I suggest the pizza place next door. It's great Chicago style pizza.

Parking is iffy, lot is always packed. Good craft beer selection. However, pay attention to your growler fill. When I questioned the keeper on my pour, she acted offended, topped it off but explained why I was wrong. Prob not going back for a while. Attitude is important

Limited beer selection on tap and in the shelves. Slow service behind the bar and no table service. Would expect much better from a Casual Pint franchise store.

Excellent place, very neat concept. It is like a Starbucks but only beer vs coffee. Super neat inside with leather couches and nice tables to sit at and talk, nice music over the sound system and nice decor/ambiance. Only Beer and NO FOOD! About 20 draft choices and 150-200 bottle choices.. Very Very neat concept would do well anywhere if they opened more locations! Tvs to watch the games on but music plays over the sound system not the game coverage.

If you love great craft beer, a chill atmosphere, great service, and an amazing beer selection, then this place is for you. This is my favorite bar in Knoxville. Don't count on having a Bud Light in this place, they serve craft beer only and this is a good thing. They have around 10 beers on draft, but also have a large cooler with about 100 different kinds of beer you can grab one from and they'll pour it in a chilled pint glass. Most bottles are $3 and most drafts are $4, of course there are a couple of exceptions. You can also get sampler tray.

You can also make your own six pack and the sell and fill growlers. They have a nice selection of t-shirts and loads of other beer to grab as you go out the door. They've added much more seating, which is great because before there was enough space for about 20 people to sit down.

The beers on tap and in the cooler change frequently. The Happy Hour is from 4-6 where all pints are $3 and with the beers they carry is a great bargain.

If you haven't been here yet, do yourself a favor and go immediately. The staff is wonderful and are always glad to see you come back.

I dig it. I'm torn some because I enjoy BBM, too, but when I am in town we've been gravitating towards CP more often than not. The outside seating is lacking, but inside it's fantastic. I am particularly fond of the fact that you can bring food in from outside if you don't want to subsist on pretzels. Otts and 5 Guys are two walking distance options for that. (I tend to go for Ott's lol)

I actually checked off "yes" for the good for kids question below. I would not have done so had I not seen a dad with his twins (maybe 12?) come in and sit down to enjoy a trio of drinks- he, a beer. They, one of the handful of craft sodas they stock. I thought that was pretty cool.

I have one of their numbered Civil War growlers, and a fill on that was 10 bucks the other day. Not too shabby.
