The Bureau 510 serves hand-crafted gourmet burgers in a rustic warehouse-style setting. All of our burgers are 1/3 lb. Angus chuck-sirloin blend cooked perfectly pink and served with house-made dill pickles and apple poppy coleslaw. From smoked applewood bacon to a fried egg, Point Reyes blue cheese to the mushroom gravy, we have a delicious range of ingredients to pair with our juicy patty. Customer favorites include the classic Nostalgia burger and the delectable B-B-B burger. If you're not in the mood for beef, we also have a list of alternative burgers and sandwiches made with grilled tofu, cha-chu pork, chicken breast, fried rock shrimp, fried soft shell crab, and more. We're also constantly changing up our menu to keep things fresh and exciting! In addition to our burgers and sandwiches, we also have soups and salads, small stuff like IPA onion rings and hand-cut Parmesan fries, desserts, and an amazing beer selection. Be sure to join us for a happy hour between 4:30-6:30 daily!

4 stars because the food was good. It came out hot and fresh.
We ordered the Caesar salad, BBB burger with onions rings, and fries. We originally ordered the curly fries but somehow got the regular fries. But it was still really good.
We also originally wanted the recommended salad, it was a pork salad, but they no longer had it.. that was disappointing. The Ceasar salad, for almost $10, i would have expected a more "fresh" dressing. It was any regular salad, i wish it came with a lemon wedge, and wish the dressing had more of an anchovy twang to it. It was not bad, but i wouldn't order it again there.
The burger was good, but the party could have used a bit more seasoning , and the bread could have been toasted. It felt like the bread was going to crumble bc it was a stale bread and toasting with some butter would have been a great help.
Onion rings and fries: honestly some of the best I've had. Not one to order onion rings, but these ipa battered onion rings did it for me! It was crispy and light but had a bite. Delicious.
Same with the fries, it was hot, crispy, fluffy and not a shoestring but not a wedge so it was plenty potatoyyyy.
We went for happy hour, but none of the food on happy hour, just drinks. We wanted to have a second drink but he didn't come around to do a last call. This comes to the review of the service. They barely checked on us. We had to look around and make eye contact to get a fill on water. It was not busy at all.. everyone there was there before us. I'd say the kitchen was busy making take out but the servers could use a bit more attentiveness to the customers in the actual dining room. They cleaned out table but they didn't give us our bill. After about 15 mins, i got up and asked for the tab..
the place has a lot of potential. It's super cute and spacious inside. It could get busy there because of the location. Parking is a bit tough, we got lucky, but it would be a nice place to have happy hour with coworkers. I wish they could expand their happy hour menu to have small bites.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 12, 2024
What a great little find. We stopped by here as our 1st choice was bedeviled by significant parking issues and man did it work out.
We were off hour so we were seated immediately. Service was on point and friendly.
The Food:
London Bus: It was a quintessential burger. The meat was tasty and the bacon played perfectly against everything else. The star was the malted fries. They added a salty, acidic crunch that helped offset the richness of the burger. The slaw was nice. Just the right amount of crunch and not over dressed
Onion Rings: perfectly battered with the right onion to batter ratio. I could have wolfed down a whole plate of them.
I did not try the tacos but my wife really liked them.
Nice selection of drafts and food make this place a no brainerHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 34063129Mar 3, 20241 check-in
Fun restaurant to come with friends! The service was super friendly and quick that we got our food in a matter of minutes.
The food itself was super yummy. They have a variety of burgers and sandwiches that I had such a hard time choosing. I ended up going with the BBB and adding parmesan fries (best decision).
Lots of exciting drinks to choose from but my group just stayed with the classics margaritas and tequila shots. Come out and try this place for the food and fun! We will be back soon!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Feb 3, 2024
This is a nice place to enjoy a brew, decent food, awesome onion rings, understaffed hard working servers that maintain a great spirit.
Located in the heart of the modern biotech office canyons that now define formerly industrial Emeryville is The Bureau 510, a quietly lit, cozy yet spacious brewpub on Hollis Street, just on the north side of the Powell Street intersection across the street from the Chevron station.
We've been here a few times to catch up with friends.
Winners on the menu that we've tried include any of the burgers, the totally excellent beer battered onion rings, and fish tacos.
This time I tried the blue cheese salmon salad from their "specials" menu, which was just ok. While the small slab of salmon was prepared moist and perfect, the blue cheese and everything else was significantly overpowered by the honey mustard dressing. Veggies and all other salad ingredients were fresh and on point.
For dessert, we tried the hazelnut tartufo, which would have been amazing if this gelato dessert wasn't 1/4 of the way melted due to the warm plate that it was served on. :(
Instead, my friend's vanilla gelato would have been a much wiser choice as it was served in a chilled glass with probably twice the amount of gelato! Just order that or something else and split it between ya!
Still, this is a nice place to hang out and chill after a long day with a good brew and a burger!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Goose B.Berkeley, CA03632Feb 21, 2024
Was visiting the Pinball Museum with some old friends and wanted a burger afterwards. It was really good. Burger was cooked perfectly to my liking, and the fries were skinny and crisp...
Service was friendly and efficient, with everything being delivered as ordered. Cant ask for more than that.
I will definitely put this on my list for Alameda...thank you Bureau folks!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 52211822337Jun 23, 2023
The food is okay! I got a ChikN Bureau but this was a bit disappointing. It didn't have too much flavor. There was not a lot of aioli or I couldn't taste any. The chicken was dry and not very flavorful. It had a lot of spinach which I liked but because all the flavors felt bland (even the bread which is Acme bread), this whole meal felt dry and very flat.
The restaurant is clean and nice. Service is nice and attentive.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 11, 2023
We came here before the Beyonce movie but only had about an hour to drink and eat and run. The staff was great, they were fast but the cocktails and food were great. I had fish and chips and a watermelon margarita. Both were delicious.

This place is solid! They are consistently delicious and my go-to for lunch. The chicken tenders are juicy and I love their grilled chicken butternut squash salad. The half size is perfect for me. Also, I can always count on their happy hour menu; I mean how can you beat a $6 or $7 dollar wine glass especially during these times of high inflation?!

The BBB is a big and tasty burger and a screaming good deal. Very friendly and competent in every way.

Pleasantly surprised by this place! Fish tacos were real good! Onion rings & salad as well.
Wasn't going to try because of the low ratings. We will come back for sure!
Mussels & drinks were the 5 stars of this lunch. Solid 4 stars for everything else!
Friendly staff & clean lovely atmosphere!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
