The Queen's Tea included more food than expected, and had a good variety. A small tasting of soup was included with the savories, which was a nice touch.
The small space could use an ambiance boost. There's also an outdoor seating option. Overall, the service was gentle and unrushed, and provided a positive experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 13, 20241 check-in
I took my parents to Tea Time for Mother's Day weekend, and it was a pretty pleasant afternoon. The cozy vibe, with shelves filled with adorable tea cups and pots, set the perfect scene for the Mother's Day themed high tea. We started off with three teas: Peach Rooibos, Sencha Guava Mango, and Black Currant Ceylon. Our top pick was the Rooibos. They came with the typical three-tiered plating of foods!!
We hit a couple of bumps during our visit, like initially missing the Salmon with Capers sandwich. But when we asked, the staff quickly fixed us up, though I'm still confused about why that happened in the first place. Another thing we noticed was another table got their food before us, even though they arrived later.
We were so into the Rooibos tea that we asked for a refill of hot water (which was free), but just a heads up, refilling the tea itself costs extra.
Despite these little hiccups, Tea Time still gave my parents a lovely Mother's Day treat! Our server was super nice and even gave us tea leaves samples. Tea Time is worth considering for a relaxing afternoon treat.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jen S.Los Banos, CA313Mar 12, 2024
Celebrated my birthday early yesterday with my sis and best friend. Friendly and great service . We were shown/ smelled teas before selecting. We selected the "Queen tea March Special ". Each corse was well explained. Every bite was delicious.
There was a vegetarian in our group of 4. We let Tim know when the reservation was being booked and was able to accommodate that person.
I would definitely come back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 10, 2024
It's a very small shop and the quality of the food (for the Queen's tea) is what I would describe as "rustic." The furniture is also pretty dilapidated, but they told us that they were going to get new chairs this summer.
The owner was very kind and clearly very passionate about the teas. I liked that he brought samples to our table to let us smell before we ordered. We were able to take our time going around and smelling all their varieties on the wall as well. And my friend and I had a great time chatting over our teas. We never felt rushed.
I'm a fan of this small business.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 27, 2024
Ti"The Queen's Tea and Tim's Excellent Service"
My friend and I recently visited this charming tea shop and had the pleasure of experiencing their Queen's Tea service. It was an absolute delight! The food was fresh and delicious, and we loved being able to smell the different teas before selecting our favorite. It was clear that the staff is passionate about their work and takes great pride in providing a high-quality experience.
But what really made our visit exceptional was the outstanding service provided by Tim. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful time, and his friendly demeanor added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. This was my treat for my friend's birthday and she was so happy! We went during weekday so it wasn't so busy.
I highly recommend this tea shop to anyone looking for a memorable and delightful experience. It's definitely my new favorite spot, and I can't wait to return! And if you're lucky enough to have Tim as your server, you're in for an extra special treat.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Tea Time takes the cake! High Tea aka Queen's Tea comes on tiered plates. Every morsel is delicious! We spent over two hours enjoying our tea and treats yesterday. Graciously served and perfectly timed, the tea selection is far reaching. Or take a cup and go! EnJOY

Came with a friend for afternoon tea on a Sunday afternoon. We made a reservation through phone which required putting a credit on file and selecting which afternoon tea set you want. It's a bit odd that they don't use an online res system.
Once we arrived, we were able to each choose a tea and then waited for the monthly special afternoon tea we ordered which is their largest set. It started off with a small tomato soup with savory accompaniments. This was pretty good to start. The actual tiered set came shortly after with mini sandwiches (turkey cranberry, smoked salmon cream cheese, egg salad), scone with clotted cream and lemon curd, cheese slices, and mini desserts.
Overall the food was just ok and felt very packaged. The savory sandwiches in general were pretty good but lacked flavor. The scone was a bit dry and didn't taste very fresh. The worst were the sweet bites which tasted like they were from a supermarket and cheese slices that looked the same as the slices you buy in bulk at the grocery store.
For $55 per person with a 20% service charge, I expected more from the service, experience and most importantly quality of the food.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 4, 2023
Lovely tea room with delicious food and great service. We came on a Monday in November, so it was super quiet, we had our choice of tables, and very attentive service. My friend and I ordered the Sandwiches, Scone and Tea. There are a multitude of tea options (not surprisingly) but the server made some great recommendations of freshly mixed blends, which we took him up on. Sandwiches were delicious and everything seemed freshly made and baked. I will say it was not cheap, but I really enjoyed the attention to details and fresh food. The tea room itself is cozy and quaint, but not over the top flowery and chintz (like some "English" tea rooms.) It is a very small operation, though, and I believe due to limited staffing, they do have a challenge dealing with walk-ins, so definitely try to plan - and book ahead.

I love Tea time! Great for dates with my boyfriend (fellas, there is plenty of food and it is delicious!), book club, and meeting friends. I even rented out the place for a party and Tim and the staff were super accommodating. You aren't rushed at all and Tim will be happy to recommend a tea if you are new to quality tea. My friends all have new favorites and you can buy looseleaf tea there of all kinds. If you like smokey foods, like bacon, try the lapsoung!
