Clean, fast and friendly. But the tzatziki sauce just isn't good. There's no real flavor too it, had to add pepper and salt..plus there wasn't any lettuce or pickles on the gyros. Totally bummed about that one, but the gyro salad is really good and so are the fries. The gyro meat isn't tough, it's good, tender, and juicy. We will go back!

Nice hole in the wall and I say that with the utmost respect. Gyros, onion burgers, hot dogs and BBQ. A nice selection. The gyro was large and loaded with meat. The fries and tots are fresh fried with your order. I will return for a dog and onion burger.

So we jumped at Elevation and checked out Yelp for nearby food recommendations. All the kids wanted Gyros, but one. This place got great reviews and made burgers, too. Score. Okay... Gyros were good. Burgers were great. And the bbq (served R/F/S) was out of this world. The brisket was rich and flavorful and fell apart with juicy tenderness. The owner is seriously nice and you can tell he loves to just cook and feed people. Though the place itself is small, which is cozy, it has a fantastic back patio. Just HUGE. I can imagine it would be an awesome venue if he ever rented it out. And in the summer he has bands play some evenings. We'll visit again. And if you live in Moore and haven't tried this place, you should. Support local!

Found this place through Yelp. I love Greek food so thought I'd give it a try. It's not the prettiest place so I was a little sketchy when I walked in. The food was actually really great! It was comparable to places I've been to in Dallas.

Had lunch at Greek Taverna around 1:15 on Monday, October 6, 2014. The place had a few tables, but since it was later in the lunch hour there was no line. I went with the lunch special, which is a gyro, fries, and a drink. I think the price is $7 or $8, but I didn't want the drink, so she took that off of mine. As a result, I'm not entirely sure of the price, but it's in that neighborhood.
The gyro was a decent size. I have seen them much larger, so if I had to say, I would say the amount of meat you get in this one is below average. But, it's very flavorful and juicy, so that's great. The raw onions, a staple of a good gyro, were cut too thick for me. But, you get a good helping. The tzatziki sauce is thick and creamy, but lacks seasoning. If you added some garlic to this it would be a very good sauce.
The fries are fantastic. They are hand cut, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, with a little bit of potato peel. They needed salt and pepper, but they were great. You get a large order as well. Some of the best fries I've ever had at a Greek joint.
The restaurant is clean with plenty of seating. The facility is larger on the inside than it looks as you are approaching it. The employees were beyond friendly, but not overbearing. I was asked several times how I liked my food and if I needed anything. Also, when there were no customers, employees were cleaning. Excellent service. I'll return.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Austin L.Norman, OK1921813Jan 3, 2017
Small little place off of Broadway. Nice service. I had hopeful expectations for the food but was let down. I ordered the Gyro plate and it tasted pretty cheap, in my opinion. I did not like the French fries either. It wasn't very expensive, which is nice. But if you want a good Gyro plate and some good Vermicelli rice or French fries in Moore, I have a better recommendation. If there quality of food goes up, I would really enjoy it. The service was good. The location and environment was good.

Well worth the trip. I was in Moore for business and stopped by for a late lunch. The gyro was amazing, one of the best I've ever had, and the service is friendly and high quality. Get the fries with salt & Greek Oregano.
Well done Taverna.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kimberly C.Oklahoma City, OK9373396Jul 25, 2016
Nice Customer service and gyro was okay but I had to add salt. Wasn't a fan of the tzatziki sauce it was thick and not flavorful. The falafel sandwich was good but had too much lettuce. If I had liked the sauce it would have helped this review.

I've only been once but I had the best Gyro I have ever had in my life! My daughter ordered a hot dog and she said it was very good too. I plan on going back soon.

This place is legit. Great falafel, tzatziki, humus and tyropita!
I used to get my gyros elsewhere. This place caught my eye and after months of procrastination, I finally tried it. They have excellent falafel (made the Greek way with tzatziki rather than humus), great tyropita, and a great, if unusual, Okie-Gyro that has onion and BBQ sauce. Good sides too!
After years of getting Greek elsewhere, I mainly go to Greek Taverna now.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
