Taqueria Los Compadres

I always find myself heading to this establishment the last couple of years because of its proximity to where I live, the cleanliness, the ginormous Carne asada burritos + chips + salsa, affordable price and great service. I decided to mix it up this time and got a shrimp super burrito

I ordered a to-go order on a Friday because I was in a rush to attend a meeting and the place was pretty packed with a lot of people arriving for lunch.

Shrimp burrito = Great! Next time I'll request the burrito to be light on the wet ingredients when ordering to-go because I'm always afraid when burritos fall apart on me. It's no question I'll be returning as always in the future to get my burrito fix.

Everythings phenomenal! Good portion sizes, great flavors, and a huge selection of menu items. They have great salsas at the tortilla chip bar too.

I've had way too many al pastor tacos here. The street tacos are loaded and i love the micheladas, super tacos, and am looking forward to trying out more items on the menu.

This place is on the regular rotation as it is consistently good and it always hits the spot. Ole!

First and foremost, I love Taquerias, eating tacos, and sampling the variety of meats--Cabeza, Lengua, Steak, Pastor, and Chile Verde--as always the meats at this location were pretty tasty. The flavors were on point, and I thoroughly enjoyed the taste.

However, I encountered a recurring issue with their street tacos. Despite the tacos being packed with mouthwatering ingredients, I found that they were falling apart quite easily. The tacos didn't hold up after just one bite even with the double layer of corn tortillas. By the time I finished my last taco, there were more ingredients outside the tortilla shells than inside.

This isn't the first time I've experienced this, and probably won't be the last. There's gotta be an upgrade to their quality control processes. I know during the Lunch hour, QCing may go out the window a bit but I find it frustrating that I have to rely on utensils to eat my food, that's not provided with my order.

I typically love both Taqueria locations but if this issue persists, I may have to explore other options for my taco cravings.

Happy Hour Tacos at this place never disappoints! I always order the street tacos for happy hour and they do not skimp on the meat. I get the tripas and lengua tacos and they are really good and flavorful. Tripas were crunchy and the lengua meat was so soft and moist. Pair it up with some sides from the salsa bar and they are legit. Chips are free and hot and ready to accompany your meal.

Just had a late lunch. We both loved it. Well be back. Had the cold relleño burrito. Highly recommend!

Taqueria Los Compadres is a good place to go for groups. There's plenty of tables to sit at, convenient counter ordering and fast service, but I personally am not the biggest fan of their food. I've been here twice and I would say the food is just ok. I do really love their salsa bar though. The chips are salty and crunchy and they have grilled onions and Jalapeños as well as pickles sides and salsas.

I ordered three super tacos which was waaayyy to much food for me. The tacos are huge and piled high.

I personally like my tacos to be a bit less filled so I can pick them up more easily and I think because they were so lettuce heavy the tortillas got a bit soggy which wasn't the best. The meat flavor was good but there just wasn't a whole lot compared to the other toppings.

I also tried my friends torta and it was good but I think there was just too much going on which caused both dishes flavors to get a bit lost.

Like I said though, great place to come with a group of friends and great salsa bar!

This place is located across the street from the Loehmann's Plaza. I came here for dinner with friends and I really enjoyed my experience here. There is a big selection of food. I ordered the quesabirria plate and it was delicious. I loved the consommé that comes with the three tacos. I do wish the tacos had a little more cheese and that the plate came with corn and beans. I also have tried their Agua Fresca and it is so refreshing. I recommend the pineapple juice to wash your meal down! I enjoy the salsa bar that has different salsa's. There are complimentary chips, onions, chilis, etc.

The service is great, you order at the counter and they bring the meal to your table. The love that the dinning area is clean.

We love coming here everyone we are in Rancho Cordova. The outside has a few too many trees and it looks a little hidden from the corner and street but the food is epic. Sometimes we go back 2 times in a weekend. We love it there. They have a chip and salsa bar, specials like a free beer with any seafood order. We love this place. The only recommendation I would make is that the front door has a lot of papers on it and hides the entrance of the restaurant. But it's clean, and food is awesome!!!

Delicious !!!! 100/10!! This place has amazing authentic Mexican food! If you get the chance to eat here, you won't regret it!

While I still like this place alot I'm updating my review because I finally had my first bad experience there. I called ahead and placed an order for nachos, a super torta with grilled chicken, and I picked up the food and took it home with my boyfriend. Upon getting home I immediately realized that as I opened my food the bread looked wrong. I tried taking a bite trying to figure out was wrong and realized the sandwich was super cold. I live just a few minutes down the street and our food was not ready when we arrived it took a couple extra minutes and so it should have been hot and fresh. Usually the bread is toasted or maybe it is grilled but it's usually like very warm the chicken is usually hot and the cheese is usually melted. Instead I was served a cold sandwich with the bread just meh. I was pretty upset and went back and demanded a refund. They were not apologetic at all. I didn't even think to ask my boyfriend about his food and he said his nachos were not fresh at all, not hot and these cheese also wasn't melted. I should have gone back to get refunded for that as well, only he didn't tell me because he ended up reheating them himself. I feel like personally for $40 we should not have to reheat food that should have been served normal and hot. Especially when we got there it was not that busy at all. I would expect the mistake maybe if they were extra busy. But it shouldn't be hard to serve nice and hot food. I think I'm gonna try some other Mexican places in the area now after that
