Taqueria El Triunfo

I'm so surprised they didn't have this place on Yelp! I found it by looking on google maps. It's on the side of the road in a gravel parking lot that runs into a housing nieghborhood afterwards. There is a food truck and a building behind the food truck to give it more of a permant feel. There was a garage covering and some picnic tables under it for weather coverage and two smokers out front. My kind of place!

I couldn't decide what to get so ended up getting tacos and chimichanga. The tacos were dry and definitely needed some salsa to go with it. It had a traditional bbq flavor and they are served on corn tortillas double wrapped. The chimichanga was a behemoth of a serving and perfect for two people to share! It was very flavorful and the cheese sauce Yum! I liked the sides that came with it!

I paired it all with a coke glass bottle they sold out of an old coke refridgerator by the check out! Was such a fun and cute experience! Low-key, no worries, eat and enjoy and nieghborhood watch all at the same time. Dog's were welcomed as it was all outdoors. Just a fun nieghborhood vibe.
