This place was a pleasant surprise! When My mom said she wanted to go to a bar for Christmas I was kind of disappointed, but this ended up being a great Christmas surprise. The staff was pleasant despite their holiday delays (they had to push our reservation back 15 minutes, but offered us spots at the bar while we waited) and several staff members checked on us through our dinner. Needless to say, napkins were plenty and we were blessed with extra sides of ranch at request.

The highlight of the night was no doubt their bacon cheese tater tot appetizer. You can't come to this place without getting those. Our only wish was that the appetizer was a larger size! The other first-place winner was the french dip sandwich, which came on a delicious pretzel bun and it was so good I almost wanted to trade dinners with my stepdad. The meat was so good compared to my philly cheesesteak, but at its size, it was definitely the best deal on the menu at its $20 average price point. The only "meh" item was my mom's Lobster Roll, which lacked flavor and meat, but she loved her onion rings so it wasn't a total loss.

It's a sports bar. You won't find a nice, quiet ambiance here. For a chill dinner spot just right off of the strip, though, almost everything we ordered on the menu hit just right. I will definitely come back here to give a few more menu items a try.

I'm rating this as someone with Celiac disease.

On Christmas Day my husband and I had lunch at Tailgate Social at Palace Station Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

There weren't many places open for lunch, so we ended up at this sports bar and restaurant. There was no gluten-free menu, nor any markings on their menu.

Staff was great in that the hostess told the kitchen that I am celiac and the chef came and spoke to me (it wasn't busy.) I ended up ordering the $16 Cobb salad but the chef told me that their shredded cheese contained gluten to prevent clumping, so she left that off. I was happy that she knew that and preemptively took that off.

--- Most people don't know that often, pre-shredded cheese in the US is not celiac-safe due to gluten being in the anti-caking agents.

When I put in my drink order, it went to the bar tender and the presentation of the $8 crockpot hot chocolate was completely different than what was stated on the menu. It came with three gluten cookies. Luckily they weren't in the drink, just on the saucer. I gave those to my husband to eat, but it's not something that I considered I'd need to confirm prior to ordering.

My husband, who has no dietary restrictions, had the $17 Nashville hot chicken sandwich with onion rings. He was very happy that the onion rings had no upcharge. He also ordered the $12 "Drink up Grinches" cocktail and was happy with it.

Overall, would I eat at Tailgate Social again - only if there was magically a cure for celiac disease or they had a marked menu. There's currently not enough options for me as a celiac to warrant a repeat visit for now.

We had a wonderful time working with both Erika and Ana planning our corporate event at the Tailgate Social in April. They were responsive, helpful and great to work with in preplanning. The day of the event the guests loved the food and beverages. It was very tasty, elevated bar-style food. Quick service and helpful staff was made this the perfect spot for our event. We'd definitely consider doing an event here again.

My review is based on two experiences, one from months ago (Happy Hour mid day) and another from this weekend (evening til close).

My first experience months ago was at the bar counter during HH and not very busy and we had a super attentive bartender. He explained HH and gave us some suggestions. We tried their wings and quesadilla. Overall, food was good and service was great.

My second experience was this weekend when it was a relatively full restaurant. Service was slower which could be expected. Both bartenders never stopped pouring drinks for the restaurant tables which left most of us at the bar to be neglected a bit. So, when the bartender did finally come ask our drink order, I knew I had to get both drinks and food in right away. We ordered one draft beer and one water. Soon after the bartender was back with our drinks.

The pizza came out in a reasonable amount of time and I enjoyed it. I ordered the Abe pizza because it had sausage peppers and a spicy chili drizzle which added both flavor and kick. I also thought the crust was really nice - airy, with bite, and it had parts where there was nice crunch. Now, due to the amount of ingredients, the crunch cannot extend all the way to the center of the pizza, but that's ok. The 16" pizza came out fresh and hot and it was overall really good. For two people, we were both full after sharing it!

Halfway through my pizza eating I had drank all my water but the bartender was busy and didn't seem to notice. Quite alright - I placed my empty glass away from me and close to the bartender. Still, no fill. Then I was done with my pizza and I stacked my plates and again, strategically placed my water glass near them. The bartender cleared my plates but continued to just leave my glass on the bar top. I never got any fill of water after my initial glass. I observed around me down the bar and most of us had empties and no follow-up visits.

Overall - a nice vibe at this restaurant/bar. I would have definitely really liked to be revisited from the bartender so that we feel as important as the orders coming in from dining tables.

I decided to try this sports bar for dinner. The restaurant was almost empty at 5:15 so I sat at the bar. Thier iced tea brewer was not working so I settled for a diet not Coke.

I ordred the Nashville hot chicken sandwich from the very nice bar keep. While waiting, I played deuces to pass the time.

In a short time, a runner brought the sandwich. It was good but it should have been eaten quickly as the amount of sauce made the bun become soft. I ended up taking off the top bun and cutting the bottom with knife and fork.

Sandwiches come with fries which are ligtly salted and have a small amount of ground chilies. I was brought a second drink after a while.

While service was top notch and the sandwich OK, this isn't a place I'd come again,. I am not a sports bar kind of person and their menu is limited to that kind of food.

Went to Tailgate Social to watch a VGK during the week. I've seen them a few times on social media and decided to give it a try. The layout is very open with tons of TVs to watch the game. When we arrived it wasn't that busy but as the night went on there seemed to be a few larger groups come in. There was only one server for the whole place which after awhile we kept seeing her come to our table less and less. She tried her best and I think a manager was helping her out.

I ordered the Wood Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad, this thing was massive. I would say you could split this between two people fer sure. The salad was great, all the ingredients were fresh, and the chicken had a good flavor. We also ordered the Tailgate Nachos with Steak. Again the portion was huge, we split them between 3 people and still had a lot leftover.

Overall we enjoyed watching the game at Tailgate Social and would go back. Next time I just hope they have more than one server though.

Very solid 3 1/2 stars! Great place to watch the game!

Wifey & I had dinner with some of our fam during the late summer time. We met up to have their popular Lobster Boil for $23 a person! Not a bad deal for an entire Maine lobster!

Place was busy so I did end up making reservations for us earlier in the week. Luckily I did, on a Friday night Tailgate Social had a bit of a waiting line! Upon being seated besides ordering the Lobster Boil for each of us, we shared:

-Tailgate Nachos ($16 + $3 to add grilled chicken)
-Appetizer Sampler Platter ($31) - Wings, Chicken Quesadilla, Pretzel Bites & Chips

Tailgate Nachos were awesome, more than enough to share! Loaded with toppings and a healthy scoop of guacamole too! The Appetizer Sampler Platter was good as well, the Chicken Quesadilla was full of cheese and the Pretzel Bites were tasty with the beer cheese dip provided. My only gripe on the platter was there wasn't enough wings! It only came with 6 wings to share between 4 of us. For the price I would expect a bit heftier serving - I think at least 8 wings would have been more reasonable. Wings were on the small side, but were still a decent bite.

On to the Lobster Boil! Each one came out on it's own tray with a side of drawn butter, lemon, and a crab/lobster cracker tool. Nice touch! Each boil comes with a whole Maine lobster (roughly between 1-1.5 pounds), 2 or 3 whole clams, a sausage link, and potatoes. Came out nice & hot! Lobster was delicious and sweet, but it was a bit hard to get to those bits of meat that weren't from the tail or claws. The meat from the tail and claws were not plentiful, but for $23 I wasn't expecting them to be. Clams were good, just wish there were a few more as well included per boil. Can't deny that butter though, the dip of butter and the splash of lemon made that lobster pop with extra flavor!

Overall a good meal. We would definitely go back to Tailgate Social for another night of game watching and app eating. Super Bowl, anyone?

I'd have to agree with others about this spot. Little huddle gem located off the strip in Palace station casino. Ample parking. Easy quick fast seating when we arrived.

Tonssssss of TVs to cover college football from every angle. Zero issues with tv screen and sound.

Food was amazing! Wings were on specials on weekends and they don't skimp on them! Fresh perfectly fried wings with a handful of flavors . Went with the lemon pepper n, Jamaican jerk and buffalo with a side of buffalo wings .

Philly cheesesteak with the extra works was satisfying ..
The egg meat pie was surprising fulfilling down to the crispy crust.
Fries and onion wings were perfect with zero extra oil.

Bottomless mimosa were satisfying and the bottomless Bloody Mary was okay. I say this bc I feel it could have been better with hot sauce. I added the available chalupa
      .
Our server Andrea was friendly, fun, full of personality , and catered to our every request .

I will try the boathouse restaurant next door as well the next time

The GM David is exceptionally attentive and Mr Woods is an amazing manager and very attentive as well. I've seen the managers jump in and do what needs to be done to get the job done! I appreciate them for always having smiles and great service!! I come here because it's great food, drinks but most importantly the entire staff is awesome!!
