Soooo i'm trying to get ahold of you guys?? Why list your phone number if no one can get ahold of you?? Terrible service

I went there with issues in my transmission.

The service rep Phil told me to call someone to pay for a transmission(who they now claim is not their business partner(Fenix Southwest parts). TK installed it.

After 3 weeks of driving it, the car started jerking back and forth with a worse transmission issue than before.

All in all, the car's transmission issue was not resolved.

I'm out:
$1100 in labor
-A transmission (because I opted for a refund from the parts company.)

On the plus side, I am getting a refund from the parts company on the transmission.

Because of these issues, I chose to part ways with the car as it does not have a transmission because the other company(Fenix Southwest parts) took the old one.

TK claims to have trusted vendors, but I got redirected to some random wrecking yard to pay for a transmission.

My check engine light came on and I was recommended to take it to this T&K location. I went by on my way home from work, and although they were closing, Phillip was happy to check my gas cap. He asked me to bring it back by, and I made an appointment. Although the light ended up going off on the way to my appointment (of course), I went by anyway to have them duuble-check all was safe, and I was greeted with such professionalism and kindness. Phillip came outside and hooked a computer up to my car to see if any error codes popped up, and everything was fine, but I take comfort in knowing I have found an honorable staff and new service company to take care of my car should I ever need it. Thank you, gentlemen!!

On October 23, 2018, we took our 2000 Jaguar XJR to T&K Automotive and Transmission Specialists. Our car was having difficulty shifting into the forward gears such as Drive, 1, 2, 3, etc. T&K offered a diagnostic inspection of all parts outside of the transmission for $69.95. After the inspection we were told the problem was with the transmission, not the shifting-related parts outside of the transmission.

They replaced the transmission and we paid them another $2000, but the problem was not solved. The car was still difficult to shift. They again inspected the area outside the transmission (basically inspected the same area as they did the first time), and found a rusted "SHIFTING CABLE". Replacing the "SHIFTING CABLE" ($100 part we had to purchase since T&K couldn't find one) fixed the shifting problem. It turns out that the transmission was fine and did not require repair or replacement.

Of course, we felt we should be refunded $2000 for the unnecessary replacement of the transmission. The owner was belligerent and said the transmission was part of the problem. Obviously it was not, since the "SHIFTING CABLE"replacement solved the shifting problem! We spoke with several transmission repair shops, including Jaguar, and were told that the "SHIFTING CABLE" would have been the first thing they would have checked for a shifting problem, not the transmission. We sincerely believe T&K was either incompetent or trying to gouge us. We are writing this review to hopefully spare other unsuspecting people the pain of dealing with similar problems where T&K Automotive and Transmission Specialists is concerned

Philippe Scott took really good care of my car. After I drop my car off, Mr. Scott had someone drive me back home since they were going to have my car for a day or two. Women, take your cars here. It's nice to have a place to take our cars without being ripped off. Thanks T& K for being honest!

Worse service ever!!!

As soon as you walk in you are greeted by this fake car sales of a man. You can tell he is trying as hard as he can to be nice but he doesn't care about anyone.

We brought our truck here for transmission work and they took there sweet ass time fixing it, a little over a month to get fixed! And it was my husbands only truck to drive at the time but they didn't care! The sad thing was we weren't waiting on parts we were waiting on the worker to do his job!

After the truck was finished they gave us a warranty but less than a month his transmission went out again! Lucky for my husband was still at work when it happened but this company wouldn't pay for the tow!! How ridiculous is that! Your workers screwed up the truck and you want us to pay for the tow!

We will never go back to this place and we will tell EVERYONE not to come here!!

Don't you dare take your car to T@K transmission unless you want your car screwed up so bad you cant drive it and it will be worse then when you brought it. Also T@K stresses you out b/c you have to go back up there many times to see why they wont fix your car.

Brought an older Cadillac in b/c the car would not stay in park on a slant, but the car ran great and shifted perfectly. Got a call from extremely friendly Phillip a service manager said car was ready that they had to make a prindle and now it was ready! I asked to check out the work and test the car before paying for it, Phillip would not allow me to do that. He said do you eat a sandwich before you pay for it. He said the car is fine, shifts in every gear and now stays in park! Phillip LIED! Phillip is a LIAR, don't be like Phillip! paid 350$ for a car not fixed. Phillip also LIED about the price, he said ball park 175$.

Went out to car only to find the car wont go in low gears, but did seem to stay in park. After driving the car it kept kicking out of drive. It would not stay in gear. Took it back and I said Phillip this car is not ready, its worse then when I brought it in. I could drive to Alaska and back before I took it to T@K Automotive before they worked on it and now I cant drive it around the block. Phillip said talk to mechanic Jose! Jose said no problem, I will just fix it, it will take 2 hours b/c I will need to bend the part I made a little more b/c its hitting the tension bar. But I will fix it! Went back the next day, car was untouched. Management and Owners said I need a new transmission, I said that is not what Jose the mechanic said. I said let him fix it like he said he could. The owners of T@K kept quoting 1200$ to 2000$ to fix the transmission, (they really meant over 2,500$ to fix a car b/c that is how mechanics do ya) to fix my car that did not have a problem shifting or slipping when I brought it in. They lied to me and said my trans was slipping. I said it has never slipped and not shifted. The car stayed in their shop for over a week. I went back many times and said let the mechanic Jose fix the car like he said he could do, but the owners and service manager kept pushing a new transmission! The owners and management went from new transmission to motor mounts to fix the car, but were not willing to put in motor mounts or transmission mounts to fix the current problem.

. I got angry and said let Jose fix my car. Jose said he needed grommets! Phillip said pick up the car this afternoon it will be fixed. Phillip LIED again. Again got a call from the owners who tried selling me a new transmission. I said I am not stupid if I rebuilt the transmission and spent 2000$, the linkage would still not work. Its the part you made hitting the tension bar, Jose showed me, its not the transmission. I asked for my money back, the owners would not give me my money back. They are not interested in repeat customers! You realize your dealing with Con artists, crooks and liars is when you leave in your torn up car that they tore up!
I said give me my keys, I am getting my car out of here. I said I will never bring my car back here again and you should not either! My car would not go in gear, they had to open the hood and take a huge screw driver in to the gear box to put it in low gear while I set in the car to get it to drive in low gear. I paid 350$ for that. They tore my car up real bad and will not reimburse me. T@K is bad news don't go there, they are a rip off.

3 things you should know about T@K is Phillip service manager is a big LIAR! Evidently Jose can not fix linkage or prindles!. The owners are con men and do not warranty their work and push for expensive transmission repairs even though you dont need a new transmission. Stay far away from T@K transmission and auto, they will tear your car up and show no remorse and will not give you your money back and will leave you stranded! My car would only go in low gear 20 mph all the way home praying it would not kick out of gear! T@K tore my car up very badly!. Do not use T@K!

Went in for a brake job and oil change. I usually do the standard oil, but they only offer synthetic, so they discounted it from what I usually pay. They got everything done in good time and even offered me a ride to work.

Alan and his team were so friendly and sweet! Took care of replacing my water pump in a day and were very fair. Upon pick up, I didn't catch the name, but the gentleman who brought my car around complimented me on keeping my car as clean as I have had it (7 yrs!). Very personable! Highly recommend!
