What are the best options for vegetarians?

Hi Kate, I only ate breakfast/brunch here. They had many vegetarian options for breakfast, including a full buffet with made-to-order omelettes (if you are not restricted… more

What are the details on the pie bar? Cost? All you can eat? Is ala mode and option?
A:
I went about 2 weeks ago for dinner and it was complimentary with our meal. Even had the option to take mine to go and I took a few slices. My man ate pie before we even started dinner.

Sway is two restaurants in one. In the morning, it's a breakfast buffet ($30 per person, unless included in your room charge), or you can order off the breakfast menu a la carte. In the evening, it switches to a gourmet restaurant. Depending on your meal of choice, this can be an excellent or just very good selection.
I would say the breakfast buffet is good to very good, just not great. There were some excellent items, specifically the honeycomb from the rooftop beehives, that was absolutely incredible. Other than that, all of the items you would come to expect on a large breakfast buffet.
We did dine here in the evening as well one night, along with our vegan friends, and let me tell you, they did an amazing job! The chef came out and described in detail the vegan dishes to ensure our friends were not served anything unsuitable to their dietary needs.
My coca-Cola braised short rib was really good, just not excellent but everything else we were served was absolutely outstanding.
Highly recommend trying this restaurant both for breakfast and for dinner to see what it's like.Helpful 27Thanks 3Love this 22Oh no 0 - Sep 1, 2022
We used to stay at this hotel and always got the breakfast buffet here, but we were too late this morning, so we went for lunch. I know this place is overpriced because they are in a hotel, but come on: $4 for an iced tea?
My shrimp and grits were $26 and did not pass this Southern chef's muster. You can tell they cooked the grits in plain water. If they switched to half broth, half milk the taste would be dramatically improved. The 5 shrimp were well-cooked and flavorful, and the little sautéed peppers and onions and bacon added some much-needed character to the bland grits.
Service was friendly and this seems to be a family-run operation, which is nice to see. The sweet tea was still warm when presented, which tells me it was fresh and also that they were unprepared for the flood of thirsty Southerners on this hot day.
Hubby's $16 turkey sandwich was well-stacked and packed with flavor. Smoky bacon, tender turkey, fresh crisp lettuce and sliced tomato, with a tangy aioli and a nice slab of pepper Jack.
My advice? If you want breakfast here, get up earlier and get the buffet, because the shrimp and grits is the closest you're gonna get after 11am.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Oct 9, 2023
Was staying near the Hyatt and stopped here for a quick but filling buffet breakfast on my way to the airport. I had stayed at the Hyatt the weekend prior and had been eyeing this restaurant. I wish I had gone in sooner. I wanted a quality breakfast, but I didn't have a lot of time, and their buffet was great. Everything was high quality. I'm a sucker for grits, and they can be hard to find in California, so I was happy to see that they offered this. Their grits were *fine* but had almost no seasoning. I'm guessing they wanted to give folks the choice of sweet or savory. I made sure to doctor them up the way I liked it. The selection of eggs, breakfast meats, cheeses, veggies, etc... was amazing. I enjoyed hot mint tea, grits, scrambled eggs, guacamole (the guac was excellent!), and tomatoes, and then made an incredibly luxurious brie and honeycomb toast. They had an entire square of honeycomb! I've never seen that at a buffet before, that kinda blew my mind, and I had to have some.
For the selection and the convenience, it was well worth the $30 charge.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael T.Farmingdale, NY95119406Jul 23, 2023
Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday.
The staff was so nice and accommodating and always checking on us throughout our meal.
We dined on the deviled eggs (all 3 flavors) and they were delish. We also had the chicken sandwich and the Turkey avocado club. WOW was that chicken sandwich fresh and big, I'd go out of my way again to eat that sandwich. The Turkey club was great too and hearty.
I wish they had a couple more lunch choices but we happy with what we ate.
Sorry we ate too fast to take pics.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 12, 2022
Located inside of the Hyatt Regency, Sway is good for breakfast and lunch. Restaurant was quiet and perfect for lunch. Started with the pimento cheese and deviled eggs. Then enjoyed the chicken sandwich and it was delicious! Better than chick fil-a. The service was also great. Sway is super convenient and This is the perfect spot when you don't want to leave the hotel for a meal. I'll definitely dine again.

The staff at Sway has gone above and beyond what we expected. I showed up not knowing how many people would join me. Started with 12 people and ended with 26. They added tables and were so amazing. The kept drinks refilled and and just were just amazing all around.

We're here for dragon con on Friday night and so we went in here for the convenience. Really should've just had the $15 pulled pork at the food trucks.
This was a $30 buffet with literally a handful of items to make cafeteria tacos with dry, cold chicken, greasy beef & the tiny little salad shrimps.
Some mushy af vegetable mixture so overcooked you couldn't tell what it was, corn "salsa" & salad with tomato & carrot as your toppings.
Dry, chocolate chip cookies & previously frozen cheese cake.
Also the tongs were sticky, so gross.
They sell $12 dragons nectar mead as well.
The service is non-existent. We asked for 2 waters, got one & the server was whispering so I heard nothing she said.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Joel C.Chicago, IL12521Jun 22, 2022
My friends and I were in a bit of a time crunch but we decided to walk over to Sway before heading over to the Georgia Aquarium. The walk isn't too bad (except for the high heat at the time!). The breakfast comes in two options a la carte or buffet. The buffet is $28 but comes with eggs, pastries, fruit, and more.
My friends and I decided to go with A la carte. The Sway 2x2 (eggs, bacon or sausage, pancakes, grits, and potatoes) was a very filling breakfast! Pretty standard breakfast food. Nothing really unexpected or above average. The pancakes were quite delectable in that they were crispy on the edges but soft still. The bacon was crispy but had a bite so it wasn't overcooked. The potatoes were just what you expect with breakfast potatoes. Lightly fried / baked with little seasoning. It ended up being nice, but a little on the heavy side. The grits had cheddar cheese on top and was pretty bland other than that. Was a good few bites, but felt like a chore to finish after a while.
The thing that brought Sway over the top was the service which was fantastic. We had some fun conversations with a number of the staff in the restaurant but they were not only friendly, but very helpful in explaining the menu and the options. They stayed one step ahead where we never had to ask to refill water nor ask for the check. They provided it right as we were finishing up but in a way that didn't make us feel pressured to pay.
If you're looking for a solid breakfast within a 15 minute walk of the aquarium and world of coke, Sway is a great option.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Gloria S.Vail, AZ44531Jun 14, 2023
Wow! I am not usually a fan of hotel restaurants, but this place broke the mold! Let's start with the food. My husband and I ordered a sampler appetizer which included pimento cheese, deviled eggs, fried okra and some fresh carrots/celery. Not one of these appetizers disappointed. The deviled eggs were spot on, the pimento cheese with a side of sesame cracker was perfection. The fried okra was my absolute favorite. Light and crispy with tons of flavor and a little dipping sauce for extra pizzazz. Yaaassss. I ordered the shrimp and grits with cheese. I don't know what they do to those grits but hands down the best I've had. They were light and fluffy almost the texture of whipped potatoes. And if all that sustainable seafood goodness was not enough, throw some andouille sausage in with a little kick to them. My husband got a take on lamb shepards pie, southern style! Let's just say there was not a single bite left on his plate. If all that is not enough, there is an all you can eat dessert bar with a wide variety of sweets including peach cobbler and the best banana pudding. The vast variety of desserts are classics which the pastry chef has elevated with some modern touches. Oh, want a drink to wash dinner down with, try the southern peach smash, a bourbon based peach drink that tastes like boozy peach tea. It was amazing.
Now let's talk about our server, Bernard. He was attentive, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. He was one of the best servers I have ever encountered. The other wait staff also checked on us as they walked by, asking to take empty/ used plates and asking if we needed anything. Their staff made us feel welcome, and we truly felt our business was appreciated.
The restaurant is located in the Hyatt Renaissance in downtown Atlanta. They took the restaurant space and made it upscale and classy. You are separated from the lobby which is nice.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Janie M.Stone Oak, San Antonio, TX05Jun 27, 2023
Fabulous!! Local, sustainable, delicious! The biscuits and the honey butter (honey from their own beehives) melt in your mouth.
Everything was delicious. Service was amazing. This place should be reservations only packed every night.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
