Very impressed with this motel. The suite was well worth the extra cost. Very clean and well maintained. Ops pizza next door was good as well. Breakfast was better than the usual at other motels.

I have stayed at this location many times over the last 6 years for WWII Submarine Reunions the first week of November. They treat us right and very helpful to our older veterans and the widows that come to these reunions.
Rooms are very comfortable, clean and neat. Housekeeping staff is outstanding and the room is always very clean. I have not had a complaint in all the time I have spent here.
This time down Melissa the General Manager was very helpful and accommodating to all of our needs that is the main reason this is our home location for this very special reunion.
Thank you and your staff for all they do for us.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Valerie B.Eustis, FL1629514Apr 2, 2023
A fairly comfortable stay. We had a suite so it was basically a bedroom and a living room separate. The room was clean and free of dust. We were only here 2 nights but there's a washer and dryer and full stove in the room so if you're staying for like a week this may be ideal. Everything in the room worked that we used (we didn't use the stove or washer/dryer). The only downsides were the bed is very firm and is a spring mattress, the pillows are too thick and I had neck pain (4 pillows all the same), the hot water in the tub was difficult to regulate which I believe is the style of faucet and there were water spots that weren't fully cleaned. Also, the outside noise is very noticeable which nothing can be done about that so I'm not docking stars for it. Kind of all minor things. The front desk associates were both very pleasant as well.

I came down to visit my husband while he was working out of town. The place he originally wanted to stay wasn't available at the time so he opted to stay here until it was. So, this is one of those reviews where I need to break down the pros and cons.
Pros:
The place is spacious with a separate sleeping area, living room and full kitchen. They also have a washing machine and dryer(sh-weet!), small microwave, coffee maker maker and toaster. It's conveniently close to restaurants and grocery stores, and not far from the Navy base either. I noticed it can be a bit loud with people walking or driving by, but that was sporadic. I didn't feel unsafe, but I'm extra cautious with my little one and didn't venture outside at night alone. There are plenty of tv channels available to watch and 2 flat screen tv available. Also, if you happen to work at night or just like sleeping in, the blackout curtains keeps the room pretty dark. I did enjoy the shower and the bed was comfortable. Theres plenty of drawer space and hangers for clothes, and an area to store your suitcase.
Cons:
Soooo..the first thing that hits me when I walked in was the smell. It wasn't the run of the mill average stank, it was kinda like a musty old type smell, I guess. At some point you get use to it, but then you realize that when you leave you probably have that same musty old smell on you and when you return it smacks you in the face even harder. Now, I dont know if every room has the same smell, or if we were just the lucky ones. I did see someone with a big dog going in and out of a room, so maybe 1 or 12 of the previous guest in that room had pets. I honestly think that was the worse thing about the room. It wasn't the cleanest, but I didn't think it was dirty either. Smells just really throw me off and that one had me through the roof. No! Actually the worst thing was that the wifi sucked! I was lucky to get 1 or 2 bars connected to the wifi or not, and spent way too much time standing by the window and waving my phone around in the air. One last personal Con for me is there was not carpet at all. I personally like carpet in hotel rooms, or at least in the bedroom.
Would I want to stay here again? Probably not, but I would admit it wasn't a bad stay barring the smell and wifi issues.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Kieanna S.Waianae, HI304689Oct 3, 2022
I had a great stay here. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The free breakfast you get with each stay is great also! I love how much care and the amount of options you get is wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.

The person who booked our stay was wonder and inviting, as we believe is important. Parking was bad and I was forced to park out of site and it made me uncomfortable...

Terrible, smelly worn out, slowest check in I've ever seen. Too expensive for what you get.

I would have given it 5 *** but they let my front desk girl go!! I have been here 4 months due to work travel.

2. If your expecting a place to call home while on a long work travel THIS IS IT
3. Full kitchen stove with Oven, apt size fridge, tub, living room and bedroom.
4. washer dryer in room.
5. All it needs is dishwasher

Excellent place to stay, especially for the price! This is the second time we've had the pleasure of staying here... the staff is polite and extremely helpful! The rooms are clean and recently updated; they even smell good. It's a nice place to come back to after a "long, hard day at the beach."
One thing that did get me, however. I was told by the night desk clerk that they did not have access to towels or wash clothes. I've been staying in hotels and inns on both business and pleasure for decades... this just got me. Will it effect my coming back, no. It's just annoying.
Oh, one more thing, the continental breakfast is pretty good...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
