The establishment's owner appears to lack pride in maintaining a well-managed and comfortable environment. Unfortunately, the front desk attendant, particularly on May 6th and 7th, 2024, who wears glasses, was not up to par. When I requested quarters, she provided excuses for their unavailability, and when I asked for coffee cup lids, she claimed ignorance of their whereabouts. While it's understandable to request timely return of the bag cart, her passive-aggressive approach was uncalled for, especially considering her dependence on customer income. During our three-day stay, emergency medical services were present on two occasions, and disturbances such as evictions and hallway fights occurred. On a positive note, aside from the mentioned front desk attendant, the remaining staff members were pleasant and accommodating. Most other guests were also respectful. The breakfast offerings were enjoyable, featuring waffles, coffee, and juice. Additionally, the availability of a washer and dryer, as well as decently sized rooms, were appreciated. Conveniently, there are numerous dining options nearby.

Cigarette burns in bedding, furniture extremely damaged, shower stained and dirty, and there was a large piece of carpet that had been cut out and removed, leaving just the padding underneath showing...

This used to be our go to hotel when we played bingo at Foxwoods. It is not a high end place (often the hair dryer didn't work, grab bar in the shower was ripped out, refrigerator in room, if you got one, made a gurgling noise, and you often smelled weed in the hallway). But the price was good, it was clean enough and a place to sleep. A few times we had an issue with the mattress (king size). They said they were replacing all the mattresses and eventually they would all be good. The last 2 times we stayed there was a big problem. We stayed for 2 nights. The first night I didn't sleep at all because the mattress was old with the springs coming out. In the morning we told them about it and they were able to switch the mattress and it was good. Then this last time was terrible. We even called that morning before arriving (as they suggested) trying to assure we get a room with the newer mattress. They were not helpful and said they did not know which rooms had the newer ones. We arrived and the mattress felt okay sitting on it but when we went to bed later, laying on it you rolled into the middle. It was the worst!!! We asked the next morning about them fixing the issue ( hopefully able to replace it like the last time). The desk girl said she would speak with the manager when she came in. She took our phone number and said she would call if there was a problem. We got back to the hotel in the afternoon and nothing was done. She said she didn't get to speak with the manager (we think she forgot or just didn't care) and nothing could be done. We could NOT sleep on that terrible mattress again so we checked out a day early. They seem to cater to the usual people who live there. They treated us like we did something wrong and were very rude yet we were paying for something that should be right but was not. We will never go there again and I recommend spending a few extra dollars more elsewhere so you can get a decent nights sleep.

I booked this as it was cheap and close to casino. I know now why it was so cheap.
This place needs an upgrade really badly. Our room was not very clean up on check-in and we had to ask for it to be vacuumed. The curtains and lamps were ripped and in need of replacement. Every room is advertised with a fridge and ours was missing. The bathroom walls are in terrible condition.
There are long term homeless tenants that are very loud all night.
The continental breakfast is only coffee and nutri grain bars..
The staff is very friendly and the only positive thing about this place.
I would say the owners need to get it together and fix it up. Until then, spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Crab M.Havre de Grace, MD011066Aug 6, 2023
The hotel is adequate. The service very subpar. The room has clearly been flooded recently because of the water smell when you opened the door. The service in this hotel is non-existent. We stayed here five nights. Front desk refused to give us towels, they blamed it on Covid, even though Covid end of the year ago.
One thing you should be aware of. This is a very nice area, this hotel is not nice. When we arrived, prior to checking in, the boyfriend of the front desk manager stopped my employee to sell him drugs. That pretty much describes this place.
Attempted to leave a message for the manager of the hotel. Front desk person said Manager wouldn't be here for 24 hours, she would not allow me to leave a message for the actual manager. And when I asked for contact information the drug pushing boyfriend, who was posted up in the lobby, got in my face and threatened me. Maybe that's the way you treat your drug customers, that's not the way, Wyndam normally treats there's.
Stay away from this place.!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kevin J.Quincy, MA01Apr 30, 2023
This place is nasty! Do not stay here. Sleep in your car instead. Burn holes in everything. Dirty. Never cleaned the shower. Someone else hair in it. Looks like there was a police raid on the two adjoining rooms with doors pried open. Drug deals in the parking lot, police constantly surveying this place. If you ask for a smoke free room all they do is spray it heavy with smoke away spray. Couldn't breath it was so thick. Now about the employees! The manager Amanda who actually lives in one of the rooms is almost unreachable. Left my name and number to call me back. And never did. Going in two weeks now. She should've fired and kicked out. Rebecca sounds nice and helpful on the phone but she's just as bad. I spoke with her and Maria about a monogrammed Yeti cup I left behind which was a gift from my deceased father and how I really wanted it back. Like I said. I never could reach Amanda but Rebecca said on several different phone conversations not to worry it will be there. The day comes to go all the way down there from NH to get it and I'm told it's gone! And they love using that one line that says ( we are not responsible for items left behind). And yet I know this which is why I've tried to contact them at least 15 times. But in the end (supposedly) someone threw away an almost $50 monogrammed Yeti. It's obvious that someone that works there took it. Scumbags. Amanda should be fired and kicked out. She's rude to her customers which I witnessed as we were checking in. She doesn't call people back, and she almost never available. Rebecca didn't follow through to make sure it didn't disappear. So there's only 5 people who work there and one of them either took my Yeti or doubtfully I say. Threw it away.
I highly recommend you do not ever stay here!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brandy I.Groton, CT01Sep 9, 2023
Our room is infested with fleas, the curtains have duck tape holding them together, stained, dingy, damp carpets, a weird musty dirty smell, the staff was out front creating a cloud of pot my 7yr old then had to walk through when we arrived, snd I was not going to say a word but the fleas and the hotel refusing to let us leave early was the last straw. This is worse than a cheap motel, definitely not worth the money.

A private bathroom ;Tv ;breakfast ; morning newspaper. clean safe and comfortable for less than $50 a night no need to say anymore. Cost as much to go camping at a campground with none of the above features. Best low priced motel in the area and probally all of New England ; Have stayed 7-8 times always impressed for the money never had an issue
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Nov 13, 2021Previous reviewBest low price motel in the area; I have stayed in the areas other low price motels and this is the best . For around $50 a night clean and outstanding excellent management and no long term guests from what I can tell ; others in the area are full of basicly homeless people The allow smoking in certain rooms which some people like; they somehow kill any smell from it . Have stayed at higher end name properties like the Ramada up the street and this super 8 is way better and cleaner. Excellent job!! Great caring staff

AVOID if you value your health and safety. Drug dealer central. Rooms are smoky and dingy. Shower did not drain so very difficult to get clean. No microwaves in rooms. Staff not very courteous or helpful especially the manager. Doors don't lock correctly. Felt unsafe the whole time there. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple more bucks to stay at ANY other hotel. It's an embarassment that this is a Wyndham property, but Wyndham doesn't care given the response from their customer relations.
