If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel that is clean, this is the one. No, it is not a luxury hotel, but I didn't expect that for $70. What I got was a decent size room, clean, it had a mini fridge and microwave, and decent water pressure. Yes some of the bathroom tiles were cracked, but it was clean which is the important thing. Large (free) parking lot, good location right off the freeway, and across from several large shopping centers with coffee, food, etc. The front desk clerk was nice, and check in and out was easy. For the free breakfast they only had waffles, toast, cereal, and juice, but again, for $70, it was nice they had anything at all. So, if you are looking for an inexpensive hotel and basically just want something you can count on to be clean and comfortable, this is the place.

      What a fiasco........

We checked in at 3pm.  Could not get into our room, went to the desk to let them know the cards did not work.  He gave us new cards.  Those did not work either.  A housekeeper saw our dilemma and let us in.

I called the desk and was told they would come up and try the door.   1/2 hour later, the front desk called to say they'd be up in a while.  Then 15-20 minutes later the front desk called "with bad news."  Apparently the locksmith made the lock so that it could only be opened with the master, no other cards.  He gave me a choice to find another hotel or have him let us in and out of our room during our stay.  He stated they were booked and had no other rooms available.  I told him I would have to check with my husband.

We talked and attempted to locate a different hotel.  We ended up with a higher priced place with less amenities.  And we went to the front desk to get a refund.

The clerk at the desk never offered an apology or anything.  All he asked was, "what did you decide" and ran the paperwork for a refund.

Never once did they apologize or try to make things right, other than processing a refund.  I made the reservations through AAA, and am also a Wyndam Rewards member.  The treatment at this facility was far less than should be expected anywhere.

This is the weekend of the Vietnam Veterans National Museum's dedication so you can imagine that the city's hotels were pretty full.

I was pleasantly surprised. I was driving to little elm to Weatherford everyday for work. One day after work I was so tired I went there. I thought ok $69.00 a night I am not going to expect to much. Just a place to sleep as long as no cockroaches or bedbugs I will be happy.

But wow the room was very very clean. Smelled very clean and fresh. The bed comfortable and room quiet.

Next morning got up and was heading out early and BEHOLD free breakfast. So it was not a grand spread but had waffles, fruit, cereal, toast, sweet rolls, coffee, orange juice, tea, and oatmeal.

      Only 2 things I didn't like
      1) no vending machines on floors had to go to the 1st floor.
      2) went to 3rd floor looking for vending and that must be the smoking floor. It smelled of smoke. But I quickly went down to my room.

Well worth 69.00 I will be staying every time I need to be in Weatherford.

My girlfriend and I arrived there Saturday wasn't even there 2 hours discover bed bugs. Took a cup to the front desk showing the bald middle age desk guy. He said I don't know what people expect when you stay at a cheap hotel you're paying for valve not cleanliness. Didn't get a refund so here is the bad review. And that is just the one I pulled off of the pillow to show the desk guy.

Stayed here July 6th, was not sure what it would be like but was very pleased with our room. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Only issue was the paint in the bathtub was peeling off. Next time we are driving though Weatherford, we will stay here. Cheap room rate for the quality.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE that I have ever experienced. The little bald manager was extremely rude to me & to my aunt. One manager had told my aunt she could pay for the room for me & an hour later the short bald one greeted me at the front desk & wasn't going to let me get a room. It was almost midnight & I had been on the road since 8 am. I had car problems. I was exhausted. I had the confirmation for the room in hand, but that made no difference. He just seemed more than incompetent.

I just finished working at a hotel in Chisos Mountains (Big Bend) & this kind of customer service would never fly.

If you don't have to stay here, don't. The customer service is horrible! Due to a softball tournament my daughter had I booked a last minute hotel, and accidentally selected in the smoker section. Once I realized, they would absolutely not change the room. They told me if I wanted to change it, I would have to book another room and I had not even touched the room yet. I came in with my husband and two kids and we are not smokers so my kids are definitely not used to this smell.... I allowed my kids to get in the pool and once again decided to ask, I even asked if I could pay a difference maybe, or wait if someone canceled and I was still told no because the hotel was completely booked and no available rooms. I pulled up the site that said they had THREE rooms available and they were nonsmoking rooms, the receptionist guy said oh you know what someone just canceled give me 30 minutes and if they don't show up, YOU CAN BOOK ANOTHER ROOM.... What is so hard about just switching it??? At this point I just gave up, I was not going to pay another $87 for a ONE night room at a Motel 8. Once again last minute room. :( Not only that, the time was close to 10 PM. Would they really book up at that time? Any who, after giving up and using their smoking repellent spray, some of the team also stayed here and we decided to move to the PARKING LOT with a tiny battery speaker and a few chairs.... That's when we were then told to shut it all down by an older older man who kept swinging his hip at us to show us he had a GUN on it.... When we asked who he was, with all respect, we were told that was a guest, then switched over to security who then happened to be the MANAGER! What kind of "manager" is not going to know what he is, and then show a gun to try and get his way?! Where is the professionalism??????? Well sorry not sorry, but we did not budge, we did not turn off the DOUBLE A SPEAKER, and we continued about our business. Well we then got the cops called on us, and the time is still before 11PM!! When the cops arrived they laughed!! They laughed soo hard that they got a call from the office over a speaker that size being disruptive and actually told us to have fun and a good night!! In a matter of 4 hours the reputation of this place was disgusting as the smell of our room! Not to mention, the room is beyond gross, dusty as if it hasn't even booked in awhile, and the bed covers were gross. So long long super long story short, just don't. Unfortunately the location is great, but the management and customer service is trash!!

      The bed comforter is torn
The brown around this sink is gross! No time to wipe it down correctly I guess.

      What a nightmare.

A friend of mine had recently passed, and I went to Weatherford for the services. I booked a room for a couple of days at Super 8 (using their website), and reserved a handicapped room with roll in shower.

When I arrived, I paid for my room(cash) and proceeded to it only to find it was not the room I had reserved. I went immediately to the front desk and informed them (even showing them the confirmation sheet I had printed ) and was told " I don't see that on my computer." So I was then asked "Well do you want the room or not?". I requested my money back since it was not the room I had reserved and paid for. Then of course, I had to visit my friends and apologize that I would not be able to stay for the following days services, and make the long drive back home. While in Weatherford, I kept trying to call their so-called Customer Care line and was put on hold for an hour.

Upon returning home it was too late to call the Customer Care and had to wait til the following day. When I finally got to talk to someone, they apologized for the holds the previous day and took my complaint stating theu would have a "resolution" by 7/13/2015. That date came and went without a response. They did leave a message on my answering machine on 7/14/2015, with a half-baked apology and letting me know all charges have been refunded.

      What charges?!

      Pathetic.

If you happen to be in Weatherford TX and are seeking shelter, avoid Super 8 like the plague.
