We went into this business for the first time while spending a couple of days in town. The clerk that helped us was very efficient and personable. She made a nice neat sandwich and didn't just scatter the ingredients haphazardly. We would definitely go back.

Went with my family to buy some sandwiches and both employees working could not speak one bit of English. I asked for honey oat bread she held up each bread to ask which one I wanted until she got to the honey oat. She barely sprinkled any of the toppings on and when she was done smashed each sandwich so right it looks like someone stepped on it, when normally subway sandwiches are overflowing with toppings the bread barely closes. It took 10x longer to get our order because they couldn't understand what toppings we wanted or bread etc. ......

Stopped here the other day for lunch and was pleased with our visit. The women who made our sandwiches were polite and professional. Sandwiches were made exactly to order. Restaurant was clean, well lit and I liked that they even had a couple of plush chairs not just the hard things usually available in places like this. Small dining area, but it wasn't busy when we came in. Sandwich ingredients were fresh and we were helped right away. Overall very good lunch. Thanks!

Just stop by this Subway. This place is fantastic and I'll tell you why: their names are Grisalda and Maria. Both of these wonderful servers are very personable, professional and above all caring. They really know the meaning of hospitality and we will return soon.

We went to this location after a year hiatus, two days ago and just got over horrible food poisoning. We ordered tuna sandwiches, with multiple vegetable toppings. They toasted our sandwiches, but should have only toasted the bread and cheese. We failed to notice they also toasted our tuna. We have never ever experienced food poisoning like this before and were in an incredible amount of pain the last 48 hours. It's unfortunate that the staff do not know proper food safety standards, and what foods they can and cannot heat up. We will never be returning to this location or a subway chain restaurant in the near future. Our stomachs are still traumatized from this whole ordeal. We would never wish this kind of pain and suffering on anyone, please avoid at all costs this location. It's not worth it, and Subway if you are listening, please train your staff to better understand how to prepare food. It's not worth your customers pain or hospital visits over a toasted tuna footling sandwich.

The two girls behind the counter had a hard time understanding our order, but that was not the main issue. At the end of my order, I realized that my sandwich was not prepared correctly as it was overflowing (I didn't order an excess of toppings). When I tried to pay, I had to wait about 5 minutes for the other sandwich person to help. The girl that made my order was new (which I understand, but shouldn't she know how to operate a cash register?) she just stood their awkwardly not saying a word while we waited. Anyways we paid, and sat down to eat our sandwiches. They did not taste fresh at all, including the fountain drinks, they were really gross, and tasted like they haven't been changed in quite a while. We threw everything out and left shortly after. Don't go to this location!!

Always clean, the people are friendly. And try to memorize your order, so when you come in, they know how to make it faster. I also love the dining room, lots of seating choices.

The young man who prepared my sandwich had hygenic habits. He didn't unnecesarily touch things with his gloves on. He made a clean sandwich. He spoke proper English. The place was clean. What's with the bad reviews? I guess I came on an off day.

Lets just say I'll give them two stars for their cleanliness. I usually prefer the Buellton one over the Solvang one because it just seems to be more clean and put together.. The employees on the other hand at the Buellton Subway are so extremely unpleasant and rude I don't think i will be returning. They are so unfriendly and asking for anything like a napkin seems to be too asking too much. Get new staff that doesn't make ur customers feel like they are bothering them just by ordering a sandwich. At least the Solvang one has a friendly staff.

The owners hire workers who can barely understand English, let alone speak it. They also began charging $1.20 to warm up the meat for footlong subs. Stay away from this location.
