I've been in Madrid for a week now, and this is the first time I've been discriminated. They did not let us in because we didn't speak fluent Spanish. I know that, because they let a couple inside who spoke fluent Spanish to the host in front of us, then let a couple behind us inside who spoke fluent Spanish. I had a cigarette outside the door after they denied us, and kept seeing groups of two or more go in. They claimed it was closed, so then why were they allowing all those people inside?! They do not take reservations, so I know that's not the issue.

What a fun and unique experience! Definitely come around 7:30pm and put your name on the wait list for the night- they don't take reservations in advance. You can get a spot at the bar while you wait for the rest of the restaurant to open.

The Blood XO comes in a fun anatomical heart cup and the Dinosaur egg (super sweet as we were warned by our waitress) came in a cute cracked egg cup with dry ice. Someone sitting next to us also took a video haha

The food was a mix of lots of fun flavors that worked well. We tried the dumplings pekines, sashimi, lasagna Koreana, tako de pulpo, and pork belly which were all delicious. The lasagna was actually our least favorite even though it was one that came highly reviewed by many others. Overall, this was a fun experience and I loved the vibe of the restaurant.

Foodie PARADISE!!! I heard so many great things about this place and decided to give it a try while in Madrid and it didn't disappoint. This place is straight MAGIC and INCREDIBLE. I love the Spanish-asian fusion dishes I had and all I can say is this place is immersive, amazing, out of this world and def worth the time.

Amazing service, great ambiance and able all AMAZING food.

      Volvemos definitivamente!

One of the most unique dining experiences with innovative and flavorful food! They do not take reservations, so it is best to come 20-30 min before opening in order to ensure first seating. There is both an indoor and outdoor seating area - the indoor allows you to sit at the bar that surrounds the kitchen and watch the chefs work their magic, the outdoor is a good alternative for those who do not want to listen to loud clubbing music as they dine (which is the vibe of inside). We tried the Vietnamese spring rolls, Peruvian sashimi, Vietnamese steak, and sashimi croquettes filled with kimchi - all of which were unique and well cooked, with strong flavorful sauces. The food is a tad on the salty side but absolutely delicious. Wish we had the room to try more dishes as there are many that look inciting.

What an incredible restaurant! We heard of this restaurant as we were preparing for our Madrid trip and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We went on a Friday night and got there shortly after they opened at 7:30 pm and were quickly seated in their waiting area where we order drinks. My fiance got the famous dinosaur egg and I got the XO Sangre and both were delicious and came in fun cups.

We were soon taken into the dining area which looked and felt like an outdoor market with bright signs, lots of noise (fun music and chefs yelling all the orders to each other), and high top bar seating around the kitchen. Every dish was delicious in its own way, and while I normally eat a more vegetarian diet with chicken and shrimp, I was blown away with the salmon dishes and practically everything we got. I don't remember the names unfortunately, but the menu seems to change frequently anyway. The servers tell you how to eat the food and while it can be a little hard to hear them, I wouldn't have it any other way. I can say this is by far the best restaurant we've ever been to and we will certainly return next time we're in Madrid.

I dined here during my 2023 Spain trip for lunch and I am still thinking about the high octane energy of the kitchen and unique Asian Spanish fusion dishes I ate.

We walked in for lunch near open time and managed to snag two seats at the kitchen bar, where we were able to watch the staff prepare food in front of our eyes and plate up some amazing dishes. The ambiance was awesome and the service we got was attentive and our server recommended some amazing dishes for us.

The food was spectacular, standouts for me were the Korean lasagna, cardomom milk buns for dessert, Peruvian sashimi, and dumplings. I would strongly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to visit again when I'm back in Madrid.

Second time to visit Street XO and it was as excellent as we remembered. Six years ago, we arrived to stand in line for nearly 2 hours. This time, we arrived 30 minutes before the restaurant opened but were able to sit in the adjacent bar and put our name on a "list" to be able to be seated as soon as the restaurant opened.

The atmosphere at Street XO is electric. Including the thumping beat of the music! This is not your quiet, romantic dinner place. Which was fine with us--we were on a business trip. The louder and more fun, the better. The seating encircles the kitchen so you get to see and hear the staff doing the cooking, plating and serving.

It's hard to capture the full experience in a review, but know that the cocktails are creative, the food is unique and the experience is memorable. I don't think our group will ever visit Madrid and not visit Street XO. It's one of our happy places.

What an immersive experience at Street XO. Since you walk in you are teleported into a wild place! The music the decor and the overall ambiance take you to a whole different world. The menu was very diverse with many different foods that fuse different cooking styles with that of Spain. Each plate had a purpose and a process to get all the flavors. All of this enhanced the experience. Additionally, the service was top notch. Cool spot, will make a stop again when I am in Madrid !

Awesome and amazing. I first came here over 5 years ago when I couldn't get into David Munoz' Diver XO. It was then as is now: amazing. Street is a lot more casual than Diver and the decor reminds you of a Hong Kong or Macao street (think loud neon). It's located at the top of the Corte Ingles with entrances via the store or to the outside. As there are no reservations you have to come early and place your name on a waiting list. My last two attempts were utter failures and then bingo!

I was shopping on a lazy Sunday and decided to see if I could place my name on the list. I took the internal elevators and to my surprise I was literally the first person according to the hostess. Apparently she explained the restaurant was always packed because it appeared in a Netflix's show. I placed my name in the list sat down and had two martinis. I was called up at 20:00 and sat down.

I had the egg roll, the lobster chili and desert. All were amazing. The chili leapt out of my mouth. My only detraction was that the lobster claws were not broken and it was a mess to get the meat out. I asked the chef for a cracker and was given one. But still a mess.

All and all it was awesome and I can't wait for my next time.

The best things in life are free and the second best are very expensive.
what fun is it if you come to Madrid and not get to try the creative of David Muñoz ? we knew we couldn't get in to DiverXO with no planning so we did the second best thing and came to StreetXO. The restaurant is located on the top floor of El Corte Ingles and that information is very important and you can thank me later for that. We spent a good ten minutes looking for the restaurant only to eventually realize its inside the department store building . As people had suggested we came right near opening time and there was a huge line . After a 30 minute wait we were escorted inside and were seated at the bar where you can order no food at all . The music is loud and foot tapping and the vibe is upscale . The drinks menu is creative and has quite the selection of cocktails and mocktails. The staff impeccably dressed in straight jackets offered us gimmicky cocktails which we loved because who doesn't like overpriced drinks that come with theatrics ?
And the grueling wait of 1.5 hour began during which I got increasing hangry fueled by alcohol. We had multiple rounds of drinks , looked around , took pictures , talked to our fellow customers got increasingly hungry and the wait seemed never ending .
Finally we were ushered in to the eating area which is a big communal setting where the chefs cook right in front of you and food is served fresh from the fire. All the alcohol that I had previously seemed to start catching on fire inside my body because man was this place HOT ! I had to take multiple breaks to walk around because it was extremely hot in there .
The Steam buns arrived first followed by the Pekinese Dumplings which are served with crunchy pig's ear, strawberry hoisin, aioli and gherkins. We also had few other dishes that I cant seem to recall the name of now . The service to me felt average because I thought we weren't given enough time or attention to help answer our questions about the food or when we wanted to order more . Food was delicious and definitely creative . The menu is well thought out and the staff knows what they are doing .Food wise this was a 5 star experience but the overall experience to me felt lacking . I don't want to spend 4 hours waiting to eat food on a vacation . I know there are people who don't mind it and if that's your thing you do you . I would have preferred if they let us order small bites at the bar or given an estimate on how long it could take . Price wise they are on the slightly higher end and were definitely one of the most expensive meal we had in Spain .
