This small park is well kept but could use a little further tlc. Equipped with a basketball court, a playground for children and a couple of baseball diamonds this park has lots of potential. The access road around the park does need maintenance. The water fountains could also use an upgrade.

Best thing about this part is the shade over the play area. I wish more Parks had this. There's plenty of trees & grass area for kids to play. There is a variety of play equipment including 4 swings. My kids like to climb the hill and under the fence to where the riverbed is to explore. Only thing about this park that I'm not thrilled about is the sand. Def one of my faves for that shade though!!

Streamland is a quiet peaceful underutilized park, yet it's right off busy Rosemead Boulevard and close to the 60 Pomona Freeway.
Streamland is one of the only places in the area with horse trails, not only in the park itself but along the adjacent streets.
Streamland had free bicycles for public use, but I was there today and the bikes have all been removed.
A good place for a walk, picnic, or to walk the dog.
It's mostly a residential area, with a few large industrial businesses, most notably stinky dusty Whittier Fertilizer, just north of the park along Durfee.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mike A.West Covina, CA713850Aug 9, 2010First to Review
Streamland Park is a hidden little park that is mostly used by city workers on their lunch breaks. It is a nice and quite little park if your looking something not so crowded. One thing about this park is, since it is somewhat hidden you may get your occasional potheads, cheating spouses, or even some random cholos playing some bball. If you can get over that and the fact that there are giant power line towers in the middle of the park, then this is the park for you.
On a serious note Streamland park is right around the corner from my workplace and is a nice little getaway from the office. It's great for naps, walks, and of course eating your lunch! There is plenty of shade and quite a few benches to sit on. So grab your lunch, park your rear end under and tree and indulge.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Leo Z.Los Angeles, CA1122023268May 27, 2017
Streamland park is in a great hidden location, although not hard to find at all. Inside a humble community of Pico Rivera. Very peaceful with lots of playing field. It does need some work done to the bathrooms and maybe some of the grass areas.

This park seriously needs some work done to improve not only the look but their baseball fields as well. Don't know why the city has not done anything about improvements as they have one of the leading baseball leagues in the city.
This park has a lot of potential and it is needed because there are many many kids that spend a lot of time playing baseball here. The park is big and has a couple of baseball fields that desperately need some attention. It's a shame because it has a lot of shade and sufficient parking and nice walking trails and with a little work this would be an amazing park.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Danny S.Pico Rivera, CA557141May 10, 2015
Baseball park needs a lil work & a batting cage nevertheless, Great place to play baseball all year around very competitive my kids learned a lot and we met good people at the park no league is perfect but I am happy with pico boys its up to the parent if u want your child to be a good ball player they must invest time & look for training aids for competitive edge cause practice is not enough. A lot of talent at this park. Been here many years Seen kids play here from tball & are now successful in high school & in college. A lot come back with there kids and become coaches also there are coaches here that are passionate about baseball there kids grew up & have left but they are still there keeping the successful family & winning tradition at pico boys. With No city boundaries they welcome kids from all around Pico Rivera, Whittier, Rosemead, Montebello, El Monte, Downey, La Puente, Santa fe Springs, East L.A, etc..
