Sterling Travel Lodge Motel

Hotel did the job for one night stay.... But room was very out dated smelled of old mold. Went to use restroom and toilet paper was still in toilet needing to be flushed probably from last person who was staying there. Grossed me out. It's not a clean room at all. I guess for cheaper price you get what you pay for. I also stayed at super 8 and same owner owns both so prolly has same staff cleaning rooms. Super 8 was more pricey but didn't seem nicer to me.

If I could give negative ratings I would give this hotel one. When we arrived, we couldn't figure out where to check in. There was no office and no signs directing you where to go. Turns out you check in at the neighboring Super 8. When we arrived to our room, we tried to turn on the lights and half of them did not work. When we finally got light, we noticed that the room was disgusting, wall paper peeling off and pieces of the wall falling off. And the kicker? Turned the heater on... And set off the smoke alarm! Needless to say we got our money back and stayed in Super 8.
