Typical Starbucks. Customer service was decent, kind. Prices high like most starbucks locations. The wait wasn't as bad as many. The latte's was good, the snacks were half way fresh. No complaints for the most part. The venue was small. Must buy something in order to use the bathroom.

I was walking around SOMA and looking for a place to stop and take a business call and saw the Starbucks sign. This location shares the building with Wells Fargo building. This is probably the tiniest Starbucks I have been to. There are 3 small tables which seat 2 each. I got a hot chocolate, a hot chocolate and juiced up my laptop and phone while I took my call. All happy.

Disappointing.
- Long lines that don't move fast at all.
- Extremely small and cramped with barely any seating.
- Entrance is located in the back of the building in a massive parking lot.
- And lastly, take a look at the pic I posted for this business (assuming it doesn't end up getting taken down). I'm not necessarily upset, but it is rather laughable that one of the most common names for boys in the entire world could be butchered like that. And before you send me hate mail calling me stupid or ignorant and that maybe the person who wrote it down was someone who possibly is a foreigner and/or speaks/writes English as a second language -- he wasn't. Believe me, he wasn't.

This Starbucks is one of the poorest run Starbucks I've been to in the city.
#1 - they usually have 1 person making drinks, even though there are usually 6+ people working. There's no hope for your drink to get made.
#2 - They take 15+ minutes for simple orders due to this backup. There are usually 5+ drinks just abandoned due to folks not realizing it would take so long. (Third+ time I've had to do it lead me to write this review. Those cold brews on the counter are memorials to my frustrations)
#3 - they prioritize mobile orders over those that actually are present in the store. This is just offensive.
#4 - they keep milk out of the refrigerator for long periods of time and the entire area behind the counter is an insane mess. I'm terrified when I see people order food here: don't.
#5 - They have no room for the hordes of folks waiting for these drinks they abandon anyways.
I regretfully go to this Starbucks due to its location to my bus stop, but I just can't anymore. I hope the owner sees this and realized how they could easily double revenue if they took their business seriously.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 73010362531Jan 18, 2014Updated review
Props to this location cause the renovation of this facility looks better and brighter.
The Caramel Flan Latte is a tasty new beverage on the menu. I ordered this and a Sausage Breakfast Sandwich. They do feature a selection of pastries from La Boulange which I thought is decent. A breakfast sandwich, panini or a pastry with a cup of coffee always hit the spot for a quick breakfast or break time snack.
Efficient services and friendly staff members so I'll definitely be back when I am in the area.
A USPS facility, The UPS Store and Caltrain Station - within a walking distance from here.

The Chocolate Marble Loaf Cake is the third pastry item from La Boulange I just tried and it is delicious. As always, the service here is fast and friendly so it is definitely worth the time spent here. There is a parking lot available here which is always a good thing.
03/15/2014:
- Slow Roasted Ham and Swiss Cheese Breakfast Sandwich
- Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich
- Vanilla Macchiato
These are some of the latest menu items. Simply delicious for a quick breakfast or snack break. This is something I've tried recently and it's satisfying.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Nov 22, 2013Previous reviewI've tried the Peppermint Hot Chocolate and Peppermint Mocha. Both beverages are perfect and delicious. A brilliant and delicious way to ring in the holiday spirit.

The Chocolate Chip Cookie is another pastry from La Boulange I've tried. I also tried their Chocolate Croissant before and both pastry items are delicious. La Boulange pastry items are now served warm at local Starbucks Coffee shops. The Caramel Brûlée Latte is a wonderful and tasty beverage. It is a holiday beverage on the coffee menu at participating Starbucks.
Staff members here are nice and friendly, services are always efficient so props.
11/30/2013:
The Gingerbread Latte is another excellent holiday beverage. This is one of the best seasonal beverages I've tried. There is a parking lot available for customers going into Starbucks and Wells Fargo, this amenity reduces the stress of having to drive around the area for spot to park your car.

The Eggnog Latte is holiday beverage #5 from the holiday menu. I tried all 5 flavors and I am loving it. Friendly staff members and fast services.Nov 15, 2013Previous reviewProps to Starbucks because they are already thinking ahead to Thanksgiving and Christmas. A great way to light up the start of the holiday season. Holiday themed beverages and cups are now available at Starbucks. When I'm here, the service is very good and efficient so it's worth the time spent here. Most of the music selection I hear as enter a Starbucks store is available on iTunes. Props here. If you need a coffee for that caffeine fix, then Starbucks got you covered.
Jan 13, 2013Previous reviewI am liking the fact that the baristas working here are friendly. The service here is efficient so that is always a good thing. Ham & Swiss Cheese Panini or Turkey & Swiss Cheese Sandwich with a Venti Vanilla Latte are items I order every time I go to Starbucks. Breakfast Sandwiches are also my favorite, goes perfect well with that cup of morning coffee. Starbucks Coffee is the best because some of their baristas I've encountered are friendly. I'd definitely come back if I was in the area.
This coffee shop is in the same building with Wells Fargo Bank. There is a USPS Facility within a walking distance from here. Caltrain San Francisco Terminal is one block from here. Work in an office building nearby? Just got off the train? Starbucks is here for you when you need that caffeine fix or on break.
This Starbucks is within a walking distance to AT&T Park. Have extra time to spare the Giants' Baseball Game begins? Come on over for a cup of coffee.

Staff here are very nice so this is what keeps me coming back, food and beverage items on the menu are pretty similar to other Starbucks you visit. It is very nice to have a Starbucks within a walking distance from Caltrain. Some customers usually come in to order the items they need and go. The seating doesn't seem to be a problem and there is free Wi-Fi so I am loving it.
There is a United States Postal Service Facility right past the parking lot. It is even better knowing that there are plenty of coffee shops and dining establishments nearby upon getting off Caltrain. This Starbucks and the other one nearby practically makes it easy for customers to come in for their morning pastry and coffee before getting on the train or bus. San Francisco Public Library's Mission Bay Branch is nearby, if you just came out of the library after spending 2-3 hours homeworking and studying, coffee break is needed? Starbucks Coffee is here for you!Sep 6, 2012Previous reviewI came to this location to get a Vanilla Latte (Venti) which is my usual beverage I order when I am at Starbucks Coffee. The baristas here are very nice and friendly!
The services here are very fast, there is always a seat available since some customers come and go. I tried the Pike Place Fresh Roast Coffee and Vanilla Latte, these are one of my favorite beverages at Starbucks Coffee. With free Wi-Fi and seats available, I'm definitely coming back the next time I am in this area. Oh yeah, 4th St & King St Caltrain San Francisco Terminal is a short walk from here!
This Starbucks is housed in the same building with Wells Fargo Bank and it is adjacent to a parking lot with a post office facility just 2 doors down.

Starbucks Coffee is here for you! - 858773605Dec 16, 2015
I've used mobile order three times now over a month (giving Starbucks at least 10-15 minutes to process my order and make it) and unfortunately, 2 out of 3 times, I've still had to wait in the store for 5-10 minutes until I got my drink. If not for the convenience of this store's location (it's on my way), I would find a less busy/crowded and better-staffed Starbucks (like the one closer to Powell Station).
Also, the staff here (maybe they're just too busy) never make an effort to smile or greet/welcome the customers, which is vastly different from my experience at other Starbucks.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nadia S.San Mateo, CA14514026Oct 16, 2017
I come here because it's convenient but it can get pretty busy. They consistently get my drink wrong (maybe 25% of the time.) I'm not exactly ordering a crazy drink - just a cold matcha latte with no ice. I'm not a big fan of ice because I drink slowly and I end up with a puddle of watery matcha in the end so I think it's a reasonable request to ask for no ice. They put ice in more often than they should. Looking at my drink now, it actually looks more ice than not. Sometimes I'll just scoop the ice out myself and fill it with whole milk. If I do scoop out the ice, my drink ends up over half empty because they literally water down my drink with ice.
I don't have this issue with other Starbucks.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Juliana P.Redwood City, CA6637531110Jan 22, 2017
I keep going to Starbucks like a loser and I #cantstopwontstop bc of its reliable internet. The place here is not my favorite as there are some shady people who come in from time to time.
I think the bathroom code is 9741. I might be wrong but 94% of the time I'm always right.
You have to lock the br even after you enter with the code, which is kind of weird. It's also a co-ed/there's a urinal and a toilet! tmi and not really about strbx but may be important for those with a small bladder. I accidentally walked in on someone and screamed like a girl. I am a girl, what did you expect.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Meraj C.Austin, TX3003829Mar 14, 2017
I try and get my Venti Falt White & Almond Croissant here every morning. This particular morning, as I ordered my meal on my Starbucks app, it accidently sent it to the 3rd & King St location (Come on!!! I do this every morning, and one day you decide to send it to a different location...also #FirstWorldProblems). As I waited at the counter, the barista looked at my order and pointed out the mistake. Being the awesome barista that she was, she immediately made my order and said not to worry about. Damnit, take all my money!
By the way, the fact that I come here every morning should let you know that this place is solid! Kudos and keep working hard!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
