Star Cafe

This place has been a fun go to for awhile, always friendly/inventive staff, and the foods always been good. Nothing burnt, nothing undercooked. It's been good every-time I've came here. Fully recommend with their prices and food!

Service just as amazing as the food, never have a complaint when I come here. I recently went to this restaurant and had an amazing experience! The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend it!

We got sat, then we got completely forgotten about. After realizing we had been sitting there for a while, I actually set a timer for 5 minutes so I could have a definite time to call it and leave. My timer sounded and I left sad and hungry, if you are in the market for a meal, I recommend anywhere else, even a gas station where perhaps you will get something to eat.

Don't waste your money here, you are definitely forgotten if you're not regular. And just check out it took another 10 minutes standing there. The food is to fill the belly and not your tastebuds. I was kind of nervous when I saw that they offer Chinese food. There are several other options that are better than this in the area. Once again, don't waste your money!

The food is always really good for me and my family and thats why we always come back but last time my family and I came we split the checks and my grandma gave me a 20$ bill to help. And thinking they wouldn't just assume that they're getting tipped, I placed my bank card into the check book for them to take the money and charge the rest of the bill to my card. But no just took the 20$ as a tip WHILE I WAS RUNNING TO MY CAR TO GET HER ONE and when I came back I handed her the actual tip and took my card back thinking everything was fine. But when I got home I'd been charged 23$ on my card. Im not sure why she thought I'd give a 30$ tip on a 23$ order but to say the least next time she's not getting shit from me.

This one star is because I had to give a star to write a review? This was a terrible experience and I would never go here again. We had a party of 4, they have you seat yourself which is nice. After seated that's when the experience was far but great.... our order was taken shortly after sitting down probably like 7 minutes. We sat at the table for 40 minutes waiting for food, it wasn't that the restaraunt was busy. We saw 3 tables be seated after we sat and all 3 got their food before us. There was a table that sat 30 minutes after we were sat and they had their food within 5-8 minutes. We didn't order anything complicated, one if the tables who sat shortly after us got their food, ate that food and left while we never received our food. Terrible hospitality and experience here.

Small town feel cafe the staff was polite and service was great! The food was decent not a lot of flavor but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't solve. The cinnamon sweet rolls were great!

If I could rate this a negative star I would. The Waitress was amazing, but the manager was Arrogant and rude when we told her the food was bad, burnt omelets, gooey gluey pancakes and unseasoned food. Her only option she gave us was to remake everything. She basically told us we were wrong and nothing was wrong with the food because she had "hundreds of other orders and no complaints." I have been in the food industry for years and when I order an omelet I expect a couple of things like at least a 1 inch height by the only thickness was the vegetable that were cut at a full inch cube way too big all the cheese was lumped in the center and the eggs were a dark tan color instead of the nice yellow you should get if properly cooked.
The buttermilk pancakes that should have a nice fluffy ¼ inch thickness and texture were barely 1/16 inch and gluey. The country fries had no seasoning at all. Now I get some people like bland food and this may be the place for you but if like quality food don't go here. The only edible thing on the table was the scones with the honey butter which was surprisingly real butter and the coffee made by our amazing waitress. So if all you want is scones and coffee this is the place to go but please remember the waitresses have NO control over the kitchen so be polite to them.

This is the first time dining at Star Cafe. I wish I could tell you it was a great experience. It was mixed experience. If you order breakfast you should have a good experience. Venture off the beaten path, like order lunch or the dinner menus and the quality of the product suffers.

This could just be an off day. However, our waitress was very slow and almost forgetful about our drinks. 2/3rds of the order was delivered.

Food was over salted. I'd think twice before going back.

On a positive note. Their chairs were really comfortable.

This place is so interesting. The menu offers breakfast, American, Chinese, Mexican and dessert! We usually go to Star Cafe for breakfast though because they are so large and really satisfy that craving!

The inside of the cafe is pretty clean. We've never had a problem with service. We notice the same customers are there every time we go and are usually bantering a lot with the servers so they definitely have regulars.

You will get a lot of food. It's good food. Not fantastic food. If you have a huge appetite, this is the place for you! Some things are good, others not as much. We got fried ice cream to end our meal and the breading was so freezer burned that we had a hard time eating it at all. A few problems with dirty dishes.

So ya, this is the place you come for with a hangover. You have so many random, greasy foods you can choose from. It can get crowded especially on weekends so be aware of that! Bring a big appetite and a mellow attitude. Both those things will help you have a good experience!
