Went to hang with Family after Reunion. I ordered the Pulled pork sandwich sans bun and collard greens!

I was pleasantly surprised at how much food I got! LOL
I didn't know I got fries with my sandwich and a side of cole slaw. Generous serving of Pulled pork melted in my mouth and perfectly complimented with the cole slaw...could hold its own but knows the Pulled Pork is the star of the show!

The collard greens were seasoned just right with large pieces of pieces of pork, could tell traditional ham hocks for cooking the greens low and slow!

Def come by for good drinks and Soul food!

Today on this rainy day as I was walking through ghost town downtown Binghamton I passed by this bar with loud upbeat music. A black board with $5.99 lunch special written on it intrigued me for my frugal and good deals eye! Outside there highlighted Soul food by Muffer's Kitchen. The lunch special offered a main dish or fried chicken, pulled pork or one more option which I forgot and it comes with a wide variety of one side to choose from and automatically comes with corn bread.

I chose the mac and cheese side which had a strong cheese taste like cream cheese, and they only had fried chicken available. It was quick to come out and comes in a take out box, but you can sit there. The corn bread had actual corn in it and was sweet and soft and moist in a shape of a cube. The fried chicken was fresh and hot and big with a connected chicken drum to a breast.

I also think they have Caribbean food, but it's just mostly Southern black food which is known as Soul food and is very comforting!

It was very quiet cause there was only one other customer. I believe it's more busy at night, hence it being a bar.

Overall, I was very satisfied and plan to come again!

Bountiful portions and exceptional flavors. I had the P&M Burger, Mac and cheese, fries and corn bread. The burger ranks with the best burger I've ever had. I feel the same about the Mac and cheese. It's home cookin' at its best. Please try the Spotlight! You won't regret it!

I had by far one of the worst experiences here. Owners are rude and the place looks dirty and unkempt.
