I worked there for 1 week, and i was treated lower than an animal by the manager Nadine, and another emoyee. I had to complete 24 hours of watching videos and doing assessments online, and the videos would not play, also, the assessments would erase my work and make me start all over. I had to complete all 5 days worth of this torture before i could go out on the floor, but the videos would not play, assessments would erase all my work, so i had to ask for help. Nadine yelled at me, and told me while the other employee yelled "she better get those done!!!!!" I sat and just put my head down, hoping each one would work. Finally, after 24 hours of this crude nightmare, i was free to go out on the floor only to be thrown on a cash register and not trained at all, or very little. My first day on the register, i was ringing up customers, but everytime i had a question, the employee, not the manager, was training me, and she ignored me, left me alone to run the register on the first official day, and they both waited for me to make little mistakes only to yell at me and tell me that i was not going to make it, and i was not worthy to work there. I was told to stay busy wiping things down while the manager Nadine and the employee would stand in the corner whispering about me. Even customers were noticing their harsh treatment towards me. I wiped down both registers bc they were dusty, and the employee came over from gossiping with the manager about me just to scream at me. " YOU DO NOT EVER TOUCH MY REGISTER EVER AGAIN! GOD, WHY DO YOU HAVE TO DO THAT FOR?" After that, i spoke to Nadine, the manager, only to be yelled at again. I walked out. I was very angry, so as i walked out, i mumbled "b***" to the employee who abused me. . When i came back to pick up my paycheck, that same employee bashed me in my skull about 10 to 12 times at least! I did nothing to deserve that. Then when i finally got my paychecks, i was not even paid for half my hours, and i was shorted 75 cents for my hourly rate of pay. This place is awful to say the least. They both got pleasure out of mistreating me. The manager could have stopped all of this. This was very unprofessional to say the least. By the that employee which assaulted me had her cash drawer to come up $40 short!! But the manager and she (the employee) both laughed about her cash drawer being $40 short!! This store needs to be closed down.
