      Definitely recommend this place! The staff are very welcoming and helpful. They don't force products on you like most other placed you go, when I told them no I didn't want the extra services they didn't treat me like I was some cheapo that no longer mattered like I have been at other various places. They've been taking care of my and my parents vehicle for years and they treat us like family. They always remember their customers and make sure everything Is to your liking. The owner Is great! I'm very funny about who who I let touch my car and I wouldn't take it anywhere else.

      P.S. when you go in for services, request Vanessa, yes she's a girl under the hood and she's awesome at what she does!!

      For several years, Angie has done a great job with my safety / emission inspections, but the last few times, there have been different people doing this task. They haven't been picky about the safety inspection, either. So, if you don't want your lights checked, or brake fluid level, tires, horn, etc., this is the place for you.

      When I brought my pickup in, I let the guy know that it's a classic (over 24 years) and didn't require the emission test. He didn't believe me at first but eventually conceded.

      When he finished the paperwork, he asked for $7. I prefer to go to the office along with my credit card, so I said I would walk it in.

      I stood in the waiting area for someone to arrive and ring it up. He was obviously a new guy because he messed up and needed help. The helper showed him his problem and sent "the trainee" away.

      Now, their monitor is placed so that the customer cannot see the screen. I was told to insert my card and a receipt was printed. Fortunately, I looked at the receipt before I left. I was charged the full $25.50 rather than the $7 fee that was showing on my inspection certificate.

      So, we needed a manager to clean up. I kept my thoughts to myself but it seemed like he wasn't very concerned about my inconvenience. Maybe he had other problems on his mind.

      So I took in my roommate's 2012 Honda accord and called early to see how much of an oil change was. I also was not told in the beginning that the car required synthetic oil. I was told it was going to cost 51$. When the car was complete the total came out to 84$. The owner was a complete asshole. I asked him what his name is and he told me it was go fuck yourself. Let me tell you I almost lost my shit. I'm a disabled vet who suffers from severe ptsd and I was tested. If you do go here don't ask questions unless you want the owner to give you hell. Worst customer service I have ever experienced!

      We needed to get our 2 vehicles inspected. My husband was busy so decided I could do it on my own. which I'd never done before. I did this 2 different days and both times I was happily greeted in the parking lot and told to go into the 3rd space. Both guys who helped me were courteous and friendly-I'm sure they could tell I was nervous and they made me feel at ease. I was very impressed and will recommend them if you need your cars safety inspection.

      I only came here for a simple oil change and found out I had other issues with my car,Paul and Kareem the manager didn't just tell me,they pinpointed the problems,gave me a somewhat fair price and my car was back on the road and I swear when I pulled in it was running kinda rough,when I pulled out from speeders it ran like a brand new car,I was amazed and will have anyone I know get it done with speedees,thanks guys

      On 12/6/23 we dropped off a '18 Nissan Titan to Midas on 3107 Old Denton Rd, Carrollton TX to replace the starter. The car died 2 blocks away so we had it towed to Midas because it was close BIG MISTAKE. The car arrived Wednesday night 5 minutes before they closed. We were able to at least get it to them. The next day we called to check in and we were told it needed a new starter. Around 5pm Thursday we were told they couldn't get to the truck and it would take more labor due to where the starter was located. We were quoted $900 to repair the starter. So we call today (Friday) for an update and my husband was told by the Tech he never replaced a starter before and had to YouTube how to do it. Customers should NEVER be told that your mechanic has to YouTube how to fix your car. Heck we could have done that and saved money and time. So after lunch I call and speak to the office Manager who didn't give me his name. I explain everything, I just express my frustrations. The manager says the tech has installed a starter just never on a Titan. I tell the Manager a customer should never know that. Who wants someone practicing on their car. That's why I'm bringing it to a mechanic and not trying to DIY. I share that a starter should be around $550 vs the $900 we were quoted. Clearly we are paying for goggling and YouTube watching labor. I told the Manager I was going to bring this to the attention of Corporate. He responds good luck with that and matter of fact pick up the truck by close of business today and hangs up on me. He calls my husband and tells him I was yelling and cursing at him. Fun fact my side of the call was recorded since I was in my kitchen where my Nest Camera recorded the whole conversation (me not him). Not once did I yell or curse. One thing I don't do is fuss at people fixing my car or my food. Please stay far away from this location. I truly believe they are incompetent and over charging customers. Don't let these people work on your car/truck. We are having the car towed and hopefully we will have a better experience and my husband won't have to Uber back and forth to work hoping his vehicle is ready like, he did the last few days. Find a place that has better customer service and knowledgeable mechanics.

      BEWARE. I am absolutely appalled by the management and customer services in this store. I wish I could give 0 stars.

      Me and my husband were driving our truck on the highway in the rain when the truck started acting super weird, brakes were not right, making noises, lots of stuff. He pulls off the hwy and goes to the nearest tire shop which happens to be this place.

      I say what happened and tell Madeem "I just want to know if the truck is safe to drive home real quick, It sounds like the tire might fall off i'm not sure if we should drive it anymore".
      I told him I did not want a diagnosis or work to be done, I did not have any money at the time, I just wanted to know if the car is safe, i'm not a mechanic. I was hoping they could just look at it, Discount Tire has done this many times. without driving it by the way.

      Next thing I know, the mechanic is doing fast circles around the building, I thought "well I guess the wheel isn't the issue, he must know what he's doing. he's the expert."

      Then Madeem comes in and is OFFERING ME A RIDE TO MY TRUCK WHICH IS BROKE DOWN IN THE ROAD.
      I asked why is it in the road? why did it leave the parking lot? OF COUSE it broke down, I just told you something is definitely dangerously wrong. His response was to laugh at me and say I guess you don't know how this works. I explained to him that if he did not know, he could have just said that. He cursed at me as I walked out the door, completely uncalled for.

      They would not offer to cover the tow truck bill. Not to mention they made the truck immensely worse. My husband rode passenger, he said the mechanic said "yeah we can't fix this" while they were still in the parking lot driving. So why did he decide to drive around the neighborhood? We assumed he knew what he was doing but while raining he gassed it down a hill, then the U joint snapped, and the back tires locked up, causing him to lose control going down the hill. They slid about 30 feet before barely not sliding into an intersection. The mechanic then got out of the car like it was no big deal, and said "oh yeah you should probably get a tow truck". Nothing more. Did not care at all.

      That is exactly why we brought it in, so that something unsafe like that would NOT happen. He Then they did it for us and let it be our problem. If the car was unsafe to drive, we could have got the truck from the speedee parking lot later that day, or the parking lot next door. Speedee even said they could not fix it, so why keep driving to make it worse. EVEN THO WE DIDNT WANT IT FIXED IN THE BEGINNING. We were on the way to a prenatal appointment we had to reschedule because now the problem with the truck is much more complicated.

      Because of the tires locking up, had to pay a tow truck much more because it was difficult to get the truck on and off the ramp and park it. We also could not tow it to our apartment 5 miles away, we had to tow it to his moms house on the other side of fort worth. Had he not drove it we could have just towed it home. If they did not know if the car was safe to drive, which is what we asked, he could have said i don't know. We would have still stopped driving just to be safe, got a lyft, and then taken the truck to a real mechanic later that day.

      They need to make this right after all this. The tow bill, now there is more wrong with the truck than if they would have not drove it. I have talked to multiple managers/owners and they say the same thing, I just don't know how this works. Guess this is what you get for trusting the professionals.
