Play pizza. Their cheese pie tastes & looks like Charles Entertainment Cheese PIZZA. I called for pickup & the guy over the phone attempts to convince me to get delivery then exclaims "We can have it ready in 5 minutes!"
NOW, WHAT QUALITY PIZZA IS READY IN 5 minutes?
I'm driving there & the guy who answered calls me as I'm driving there, "Chris?! Are you still coming?! Your pizza is ready!" I let him know I'd be there shortly. ALSO, my name is NOT CHRIS.
I get there & there's an Asian gentleman with his arms crossed behind a Latino brother like an overseer. I should've walked out. I tell the Latino guy, "I'm here for a pickup." He responds "Chris?" I tell him no. The guy got my name mixed up. I see the box tied up in a bow with some barbershop quartet stripped string. I notice how small the box of a large pizza is here.
I get home with the pizza. I open the box. I was disappointed. I understand the hustle to make a business, but respectfully & with LOVE, my Asian brother I know ya reading this, this a'int it. The pizza is a$$. Pivot into another business before it's too late as I see you've paid bots to rate your business highly.
I should've gone to ENZO'S.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Leo F.Morrisania, Bronx, NY1122Feb 27, 2023
Absolutely LOVE Sorrentos, they're super conveniently located to me but honestly that's just bonus because the food is always on point! I would order from them regardless of where I lived. The pizza is fresh literally every time, the pastas are solid and they have a nice assortment of snack-food for when you're looking for a holdover meal.

Nice pizza spot.
Was in the area and decided to give this place a shot. Really, there is a fair amount of pizzerias in the area, but finding a good one sometimes is a challenge. I was glad that I tried this place.
Inside there are some booths and tables. There was plenty of options to sit and eat comfortably, which I can't say about other places.
The owner and employees were friendly as hell. I felt welcome here in a way that is rare these days.
I ordered 2 regular slices and tried the pepperoni roll. The slices were good and classic. There IS a difference and not all pizza is made correctly. I was happy that there is still a place that makes a slice the way it should be made. The pepperoni roll was quite good actually, even if on the skinny side.
Overall a good option in the area and I would return surely.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jiyue Q.New York, NY48108221Oct 13, 2021Updated review
Constantly amazed by their pizzas. My favorite pizza place in the neighborhood. Out of curiosity I tried their lasagna slice today and that is by far the best!! It is so bomb.

I have been coming here for many years. The are known for the Sicilian here but I also enjoy the grandmas slices here as well. I have never had a bad slice of pizzza here I would def recommend the pizza here if you are in the area.

Sorrento's is one of the few remaining Italian-run pizzerias in the Bronx - it's family owned and has been so for years. While it's not my go-to pizzeria, I decided to switch it up and grab dinner here tonight.
The layout is typical pizzeria - a few tables, simple decor, etc. I decided on half a sausage and pepper calzone and a slice of Sicilian. The calzone was good - very tasty and the right balance of fillings. The Sicilian was great - super thick, good sauce, and a crispy crust.
Overall, I'm impressed with Sorrento's - one of the best Sicilians I've had in a long time, definitely a place I would come back to.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Johnny B.New York, NY01Jun 19, 2022
Food was absolutely too too salty. The pizza was so salty it could not be eaten.
The parmigiana dish was the same . Money down the drain .Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mary C.Yonkers, NY1742521Dec 25, 2021
Best Sicilian pie around. Fresh pizza and salad and they deliver. Always a great place. Glad they are still around.
