Skate City

This place was my childhood home basically and the fact that it's still around just brings so much joy to my heart. Roller skating is something I've been into for a while and I like to come here to continue supporting the business.

$10 skate seshes, but I'm not too sure the price of renting skates since I have my own.

You will need $1 in quarters to get a locker. But have multiple just in case you need to open it and close it again. You will need to pay every time.

The music is oldies but still a bunch of bops. And they have adult skate nights! It's pretty cool. A little run down and definitely needs an update. But whatever. Still vibey.

I can't write a review on Skate City based on a recent visit, I wish I could. I've lived in Washington state since 2008 and I haven't been to Skate City since the 80s. The only reason I haven't been there since then is because adulthood got the better of me......but I can do a review based on the last time I was there. That's right, even though I'm just about to turn 45, I can remember that far back. The rink, the lights, the DJ, the food. It was all kind of annoying, so annoying......I can't even finish that sentence because I'm laughing so much. Skate City is a very positive impact on my youth, a place that I loved hanging out at and, if my friends and I weren't having our birthday parties at Showbiz Pizza Place, it was Skate City and at this very location. Thank you for not fading away and being bought out like Showbiz was.

I had such a great time last night. The managers are very professional. Also, the DJ was amazing for the adult night on Sunday 8 Pm- 10:30 PM. My husband and I are from Louisiana and trying to keep skating alive! We bring our own Harlick Roller Skates made in California, USA. For the past 10+ years we have made it our goal to skate in each state! We love to JAM, slow walk, free style, and couple dance skate on Adult Skate Night. Also, I enjoy a smooth hard wood floor to dance skate on.

This skate floor is not wood! I am not sure what this floor is made from. It is a white hard floor. I was surprised but the floor was exceptional for dancing. Though it was a very busy night the positive groove was intoxicating. The crew here is talented and amazing. I loved the music and enjoyed the snack bar ($5 for 2 pepperoni pizzas and a coke). The Denver area is my favorite place to skate in AMERICA.

Slightly outdated, but the skate floor was awesome! The DJ was awesome and played great music. Very safety oriented. Everybody was respectful and having a great time.

We got here 20 minutes before the session ended and was charged $8 per person to skate for like 2 songs.

I really love this place but you could've mentioned the sessions

This is the first time going to skate city in over 15 years and it's crazy it hasn't really change much. Still looks pretty much the same as it did when I was 16-17. I'm relearning how to skate and so coming here would be good practice for me. Anyways at face value, skating here is affordable and you get what you want out of it which is a couple hours of skating which is nice. I definitely enjoyed my time

After spending over $260 on reserving a party that comes with 3 shitty pizzas and horrible service, I am very very disappointed! Staff is slow, rude, and I pretty much ended up grabbing everything for our table.

A great first experience, nice staff, clean environment, only problem with my first visit was they burnt a hot dog in the concession booth and accidentally filled the place with smoke, made it hard to breath and they acknowledged that and opened all the doors to let people breathe and fan out the place asap, problem solved correctly.
One of the staff at the skate rental booth even remembered me asking for roller blades instead of roller skates but they didn't have any, so once I found some my size he put them aside till he could find me on the rink.
Great establishment, would definitely recommend, hopefully no more hotdogs get burnt

Very friendly staff, and my two grandkids (2nd & 4th grades) love the skating and the activities.

Not family friendly. I was late to pick up my teenagers after their skate session and they were forced outside at 6:30 when the temp was 26F. I don't understand why they couldn't just sit in the lobby. Who puts people, children, outside in the dark at those temperatures? If you are wondering why I was late, my youngest had broken his ankle.
