Siesta Motel

I do not recommend it. Even if you're being cheap, there are tons of better options around this area. I'll give you my advice; go to Red Roof Inn, they charge the same, if not, similar price as Siesta Motel.

No les recomendó este motel. No se puede dormir uno a gusto. Los habitaciones estan llenas de cucarachas y las camas llenas de chinches. Mi papa y yo nos tuvimos que ir porque las chinches nos comezaron a morder durante las tres/cuatro horas que estuvimos allí.



My dad and I couldn't even stay in this motel for four full hours before getting bit by bedbugs. We requested our money back and we were told to come back the next day, also to keep our key card and to talk with the main person because they didn't know how to return money and what not (we had paid cash-that's all they accept, the place looks too run down and disorganize for it to have been "difficult" to return our money). They offered a different room and we declined. I had already made it clear that we were not staying at all, even if they exchanged the room. They said fine, they'll make a note and to come back the next day. We reserve another place and left. Next day comes around and we cannot get our money back, supposedly because they couldn't find anything and because we had taken our key card with us (keep in mind that they told us to take the key). Regardless of there being anything or not, we did not stay the night and did not like the environment, we should have gotten our money back.

I regret not taking pictures of the 5+ bites I got from the bed bugs and of the bed bugs my dad and I killed, AS WELL AS the big roaches lurking around the rooms. The dead roaches on the room, the stains and left over hair from previous customers on the blankets.

As soon as I pulled the covers I saw roaches running on the bed. I complained to the front desk and the answer I received was, "It is normal for there to be bugs in motels in Texas"

?????? Am I missing something? What happened to customer service? Do not waste your money. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else, you'll thank me later.
