Robert's Pizza Oven

Best thing to happen to the Roseville farmer's market, and me. I wish I could give Robert's more stars. His pizza is like nothing you've had before. The crust on the Sicilian squares is thick but airy and crunchy. It's true perfection. The rounds are thin and crispy.

There has not been a single square or round I've tried that I didn't like or even just thought was "just ok". They are ALL deliciously crafted - he's like a mad scientist. So far my favorites have included the PBJ, cheeseburger, bacon ranch with kettle chips, and the pepperoni supreme. I often pass on pizza if there's toppings on it I don't particularly enjoy- and Robert's has changed all that. It literally doesn't matter what he puts on it, I will eat it. They are THAT good.

He bakes them to perfection right in front of you, or, you can take home and bake yourself which is a nice touch. He also recently implemented online ordering which makes it a breeze to order and pick up.

We love you Robert's!!!!!!! Truly the best pizza ever.

Robert is an evil genius in the best way. He combines usually disparate flavors, textures, and spiciness into something beautiful. 75% of the toppings Robert offers I would not order on any other pizza ever, but I have loved all of Robert's pizzas. He has truly brought me out of my comfort zone and I am grateful.

His signature squares are "deep" dish but only in the visual sense. One bite and you will feel the airy lightness of the crust. The fermented sweet taste in the crust sets Robert's apart and is the stage for his topping sorcery. I would like to know where he gets inspiration because the toppings are magical. He uses ingredients from his fellow farmers market vendors too which is cool on many levels.

I never thought I would betray my hometown pizza place, but Roberts is the best pizza anywhere. Hands down. No argument. Bring all comers from all corners.

Robert's Pizza Oven sets up shop nearly every Saturday at Folsom Farmers Market, and the next day ... Sunday ... at Mahany Park in Roseville, CA. during the weekly Mahany Park Farmers Market event, held every Sunday, weather permitting.

Mahany Park Farmers Market is an event that happens every Sunday, from 09:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon, weather permitting. The event always includes several food vendors, who operate on a rotating basis, so each time you attend the event, you're treated to a variety of food vendors. Besides food, there are booths that offer mostly locally-made artisan crafts, condiments and lots of farm-fresh produce grown on area ranches.

Robert sets up his restaurant almost every Sunday for the event, fires up his oven, and offers amazing pizza.

The menu at Robert's Pizza Oven features "Sicilian Squares" and "Artisan Rounds," all made on site. The menu is posted at the front of the restaurant, for your convenience to order.

From the "Sicilian Squares" section of the menu, I went with the "PBJ," which proved to be a new and incredibly delicious pizza experience for me.

Robert starts his pizza with a thick crust, but it's light, flavorful, and baked perfectly in his oven, with an amazing balance of softness and crust, which make the foundation for a perfect pizza. I noted the crust was, as the menu states, "caramelized" on the bottom, which added to the amazing flavor.

Topping the crust was pepperoni slices, bacon jam, fresh jalapeno pepper slices, mozzarella cheese, crushed tomatoes, ricotta, parsley, and a not-so-secret ingredient of Mike's hot honey. Delicious! Rounding out the pizza square was a helping of pecorino romano. I'll say it again: Delicious pizza!

You can't get pizza any fresher than the pizza at Robert's Pizza Oven, as your slice of pizza is made while you watch, and ready in about 10 minutes. Robert's Pizza Oven makes delicious pizza!

The experience was truly delightful the pizza was very delicious and the service is incredible.

Did not think I would like a pie type pizza . I'm a thin crust gal.
This is soo light..airy like sourdough.. with fresh summer tomatoes .. everything tastes fresh.. the crust is cooked to perfection.
I died and went to Heaven. Not a heavy pizza at all.
