Warning peeps! They will close this location for good on Febr. 29th, so go in there and get your shopping done!
Big location, 2 floors, clean, well organized and well stocked. Lots of items on clearance, so you might be able to grab some decent deals. My first time here and I enjoyed shopping, too bad they will close it soon!
Lots of Patagonia merchandise, didn't find any Prana I was looking for, but overall they had lots of items in stock!Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1 - Frank T.Los Angeles, CA46134Feb 2, 2024
Hello, I just picked up my snowboard from the repair shop and was happy with the service. Andrew and Harrison were very nice and welcoming. Special shout out to Harrison who notice some left over wax left on the board from the service. He immediately asked for the board back and clean it off without me asking. I was very appreciative that he noticed this. I am so sad to see this Rei close and wish all the employees much success in the future. thanks

Please don't go. You will be missed. I live in San Francisco but visit here often. I was so sad to see the sign last week.

REI rocks! I found everything I needed for my trip to Guatemala. Every staff member was Very knowledgeable and friendly. I tried backpacks on with several experts who went through the extensive process of fitting me properly. The day before my flight, I ended up purchasing a burgundy 40 liter hybrid crossover by REI that just arrived! It has hip pads and the backpack straps can be zipped away so it acts as a carryon. It also has space for a bladder if desired. The same day I also found the Savanna pants that were out of stock after the sale. I splurged on a Patagonia rain jacket that's not sticky on the inside--a must for the warm rainy season. So even though I didn't get the Labor Day Sale pricing, I walked away with everything I needed to be comfortable! Where to next? We move!

REI would be a great Outdoor Camping & Sports Store, if the employees would care about the customers. My husband & I checked out hiking accessories - no employee in sight.
Then walked all over Store to bike section .. still no employee anywhere to be found - we wanted to ask questions / get information on the EBikes - but ended up leaving frustrated. Maybe another store has better customer services & cares to help usHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Leia O.Holmes Beach, FL071Mar 2, 2024
March 1st 2024 this location is permanently closed. The closest REI store is in Marina Del Ray.

This place is an outdoor person's paradise. Always received quality products, but have found their prices tend to be a bit inflated. GREAT selection of products though. I am not a REI member, and though the store staff are usually friendly and helpful, they are quite insistent on selling you the membership. I was able to find base layer thermal underwear in my size and they were 30% off.
